Conca D'Oro Camping & Lodge

We came back for the 2nd time now after our first stay in 2023. We love this place and will definitely come back.
The facilities are clean and they take great care of the campsite! Lovely also to see the new pool as this makes the beach less crowded :-P
We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed every second. Thank you :)

We went for one night but stayed for two. First night we got a beautiful place, the closest available pit to the lake. Second night we found out that friends of us were nearby so the girl at Conca D'Oro helped us so our friends could stay at one of the houses and we got the place across from them with our camper. Gorgeous campsite, the showers and toilet are okay but the service and kindness were priceless. Thanks! 🫶🏻

when we arrived yesterday we had an incredibly smooth checkin (earlier than what was expected). You arrive and drive through a small private forrest, the people at checkin were super friendly and guided us easily to our mobile home. I had read reviews earlier about the beach not being clean nor anyone willing to clean it, that was not the case by me. the employees were actively cleaning the beach and it was very clean! the new pool was incredible, you need a swimming cap but both the bar and the shop sell them for 2 euros each, so no complaints there! they offer a huge variety of programs for the kids as well as a nice small playground. overall i have been impressed with what we have paid for and would highly recommend it to anyone coming!

This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. We booked a lakeside pitch and the view was stunning. The new swimming pool is beautiful and has a squidgy floor and a little slide which are perfect for kids. The site was just as lovely as last year, so pretty, great location, lovely staff, brilliant and super clean facilities. We're sad to be leaving but we'll be back. Thank you

Well. When we visited this site, it was the main stay of our touring holiday. We were not disappointed.
Great location, pitch was enormous. i could not get the first 2 sets of rows of pitches near the beach and thought I might be quite back from it, genuinely if I had tried, I could have thrown a ball and hit the sand. Its beautiful.
Facilities, extremely clean and plentiful.
Caters so well for families, but as a couple, this site was welcoming and homely.
There was another couple next to us, I am positive that's why we got the pitch we did, and they were wonderful company.
Great for cycling and obviously water sports, allowing us to do both every day. Up the road you could get to the train station - which we used to go into Stresa, or you could go down to Milan if the notion took you.
Down from the site is the village of Feriolo, which is lovely, which had a market on, on the Thursday [please don't quote me], a lovely small church to view and it's where we caught the boat to the Borromean Islands - a definite must see visit. I love a wander around any museum or stately home, and this one does not disappoint, excellent value and a great day was had.
We are already thinking about going back next year.

A Wonderful Stay at Conca D'Oro Camping
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Conca D'Oro Camping, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The facility itself is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service provided by the friendly staff.

One of the things that impressed me the most was their commitment to honoring reservations. It can be frustrating when you arrive at a campsite only to find that your stand number has been changed. However, at Conca D'Oro Camping, they made sure we got the stand number we booked, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process.

Moreover, the staff's flexibility when it came to extensions and special requests was truly commendable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making us feel valued as guests. This level of customer service created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay.

The breathtaking view of Lake Coma added an extra touch of serenity to our camping experience. Waking up to such a picturesque scenery was incredibly relaxing and allowed us to truly unwind and connect with nature. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

While the WLAN (Wi-Fi) could be better, it didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment. Disconnecting from technology and embracing the peaceful surroundings can actually be a welcome change. However, for those who rely heavily on internet access, this may be a minor inconvenience.

Families with children will find Conca D'Oro Camping particularly suitable. The campsite offers a range of child-friendly facilities and activities to keep the little ones entertained. The well-maintained playgrounds and spacious areas to play make it an ideal choice for families looking for a fun-filled camping adventure.

Another highlight of our stay was the on-site restaurant. The cuisine served there was of high quality, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was convenient to have a delicious dining option within the campsite itself, saving us the trouble of having to venture far for a good meal.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Conca D'Oro Camping to anyone seeking a memorable camping experience. The friendly and accommodating staff, coupled with the stunning view of Lake Coma, create a truly enchanting atmosphere. Although the Wi-Fi could be improved, the campsite's family-friendly amenities and excellent dining options more than make up for it. Don't hesitate to book your stay here – you won't be disappointed!

Nice shady spots. Good restaurant and shop. Very friendly service at the reception. The beach is OK but the water is very shallow with weeds only. If you want to swim, take a left and walk about 10 minutes along the shore (both on beaches and in the water) until where the (ice cold) Toce river flows into the (warm) lake. A pleasant and fun area, only accessible by boat or foot. A hidden germ!

We visited in August for a week and stayed in the river mobile homes. Amazing experience. Beautiful location. Easy access to lake with private beach/pedal boats/kayaks. Surrounded by mountains. Hired bikes from reception and cycled to verbania. Friendly, helpful staff. Will go back

We used to come here several times as a couple before our daughter was born and came back after some years in 2022, just to find out this place is as great for families as it is for two. This is an awesome camp site directly on a Lago Maggiore beach near Verbania and next to the picturesque village Feriolo. The toilets and showers are super clean all around the clock, the little shop has everything you need and the restaurant makes the the best pizza we‘ve ever had on a camping ground. One thing to mention specifically is the friendliness of staff. Everybody is super nice and our little one even got a present for her birthday. Thanks Conca D‘Oro team, we can’t wait to be back!

A very well organised family and couple friendly campsite. Online booking in advanced is available. The staff responded booking enquiry very promptly. We were able to provide our preferences of the camping ground by indicating the number of the site online. However, we went during the peak season and that we couldn’t get the site number we preferred. The staff proposed us a good alternative. They also speak many different languages including german, French and English. There are many locations for toilets and bathrooms. They are very clean. Water sports equipment are available to rent at the camp site, such as stand up paddle board and canoe. The price is very reasonable. There is also a private beach at the campsite. The campsite is 15 - 20 mins of walk to the nearby village, Feriolo. There, you can fine plenty of good restaurants if you don’t want to cook or eat at the campsite. If I go back to that area, I would definitely come back!

We camped on a pitch directly located on lake. Beautiful place to relax and escape daily stress. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Supermarket with fair prices. Clear 5 stars recommendation.

Very nice, modern, very well equipped camping. All things that are necessary are there (maybe except a cable). We didn't stay longer because of the weather, but it is a random thing of course. Worth revisiting for sure. A bit expensive only.

Beautyfull location at the Lago Maggiore. It is a very clean camping with a lot of green. You can see they take good care of everything. Friendly personel and good restaurant at the camping.

Very beautiful place! Nature is amazing! The space for caravan is quite big. I would recomend: hot water os needed to wash the dishes - should be added!

Perfect stay, got a pitch right on the sea front. very clean bathroom, very clean showers! Welcoming reception staff. Barman was very friendly. Great place to stop off.

Fabulous site, great staff & beautiful area. Will definitely be back. Only criticism, could do with heating in their fabulously clean and well kept toilet blocks.

Nice pitches under trees or directly at the lake (less shadow). Especially good for families with (younger) kids. Bring SUP or boat.
