Gattò Bistrot

The perfect location to be at peace with yourself. If you love cats and tranquility you must go to this place. I Ate cheesecake, it’s amazing. The cats are beautiful and peaceful.

Staying in Napoli and drove 30minutes to check this place out. We are so glad we did! This Place is amazing! The food is super delicious 😋. The beers are Crafty and cold. The salads are fresh and refreshing. Many cats around so you can feel their love. A big shout out to the owner Valentina for making our time there so special. She is super nice and very knows on her dishes and craft beer! you can't beat that. highly recommend going here anytime you are in Italy!

A wonderful experience. We saw five different really beautiful cats during our visit. The waitress introduced us to all of them and told us what they like the most. All cats seemed very happy and were in a very good shape. They treat them amazingly well.
On top of it, the food was really good. And we especially liked the Limonade a lot.

Thank you for the nice time. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

It's a really good and relaxing place loving

Unique place, where everything is enjoyed slowly, appreciating amazing company and service, delicious food with genuine and local ingredients, all along with lovely cats keeping you company all the time!
I wish I could find this sort of place wherever I travel....
I can't wait to get the chance to come back!

Firstly, the food here is excellent. It all seems to be very well made and is wholesome and delicious. The drinks are also very good - apparently over 40 beers, although I didn't try them all.

Secondly, the cats seem very well cared for and are obviously loved by the owners. When they are in the mood they will sit on your lap (the cats, not the owners) and when they are not in the mood they will saunter off with a supercilious air. Well, they are cats. They have their reputation to think of.

Thirdly, the whole place is spotlessly clean and feels welcoming, modern, bright and airy.

All of these points are very important to us - but there is something more. This place is much greater than the sum of its parts. It is difficult to say exactly what it is or why it has this effect on us, but when we visit we leave feeling uplifted and positive.

We love traveling and have been to many exciting and exotic places all over the world - including a lot of cat cafes. During lock-down we talked about all the places we have visited and which we would most like to visit again, once lock-down was over. Despite many 5 star hotels making the list, Gatto Bistrot was (and is) our top choice. So we rented a place in Portici for 3 days and travelled half-way across Europe to visit a cat cafe (twice). And we are glad we did.

I could try to explain a little more clearly exactly what it is about this place that makes it so special. But instead, I suggest you go and find out for yourself. It's a short hop from Herculaneum and Naples, and you will not be disappointed.

We are already trying to think of excuses to return. My birthday? The cats birthday?

Welcoming place, where you are not hurried to order anything, but enjoy the cats' company and learn what they each like. Choose from the menu online. You need to book ahead but that is easy and friendly by Whatsapp, and we did it on the day (a Thursday early evening).
They kindly let us use a usb charger plug as my phone had died.

Lovely place with vegan options, you'll even get a personalized explanation about the kitties.

Amazing prices and good food. The staff are incredibly nice!

What a lovely place! The young owner is very friendly, she will make you fall in love with the cats by describing each one of them, their stories and even the way they like to be caressed. Watch out for Procolo, he will try to steal your food 😼

Lovely cats! Lovely place!!

There are cats 5/5

Less than 10km away from the busy Naples city centre is this beautiful cat cafe.
Unfortunately for us, only 2 out of 4 cats were chilling at the cafe’s area as the other 2 were away in their rest rooms. However, I would recommend anyone who is a cat lover to visit this place as it is impeccable clean and they offer delicious cakes and a large variety of craft beers too.
Our host, who spoke very decent Italian language turned out to be an American citizen surprisingly. She was super friendly and helpful and went through explaining their cat’s history.
We will definitely return if we ever make it back to Naples ! In the meantime, thumbs up Gattò Bistrot 😻

Il bistrot è molto curato in estetica e in funzionalità e la sala è abbastanza piccola ma molto accogliente.
Ci sono in totale 5 gatti molto belli, educati e curati. I prezzi leggermente sopra la media giustificano l'ambiente e il contesto.
Abbiamo preso una porzione di patate al forno, due crostoni, una coca e mezzo litro di acqua. Per finire biscotti vegani e cappuccino. In totale abbiamo pagato €34.50.
Cosa molto particolare e bella, non servono cocacola o pepsi, bensì delle alternative italiane biologiche.
Il locale è aperto dalle 17 alle 24 con prenotazione obbligatoria, conviene anticiparsi se volete andarci.
La cameriera é super simpatica e ci ha accompagnato per tutta l'esperienza consigliandoci come approcciare con i gatti.

Posto veramente carinissimo! L'ambiente è molto soft e i micioni sono tutti dolcissimi. Le proprietarie poi ci hanno anche spiegato come accarezzarli perchè ogni gatto è diverso dagli altri. Il cibo poi veramente buonissimo 💖 Consigliatissimo 💖

Locale molto carino anche se piccolo ma è un ambiente tranquillo. Come si legge dalle tante recensioni, qui si passa il tempo in compagnia di piccoli batuffoli pelosi. Il locale stesso è la casa dei gatti ma sono tenuti bene e vivono tranquilli e felici. Ogni tavolo viene disinfettato prima di ogni uso ed il tutto è mantenuto molto pulito.
Il locale serve solamente prodotti bio e vegani/vegetariani

Il Locale è veramente carino, caldo, accogliente e si respira aria di famiglia, perfetto per concedersi un po' di sano relax.

Ci sono stata in orario di pranzo,
Io e mia sorella abbiamo preso delle bruschette gusti diversi, e zucchine e crema al pistacchio è una BOMBA!

Abbiamo continuato con gateau di patate con zucca e provola. Delizioso! La zucca era molto dolce, provola filante e la crosta croccante! Fantastico!

Inoltre non è caro! Veramente complimenti!

Sono stato di nuovo pochi giorni fa e ribadisco quanto ho sempre pensato: È un posto magico. Quando ho bisogno di staccare dal caos cittadino, mi rifugio da Procolo e dai suoi splendidi amici.
La proprietaria Valentina è stata coraggiosa e ha creduto nella possibilità di portare avanti un'attività non convenzionale, con tutte le difficoltà del caso.
È inutile poi parlare del cibo e del servizio, tutto eccezionale.
Una menzione d'onore anche al mitico Ciancio, che è sempre nei nostri cuori ❤
