Trattoria Caffe' Vecio

Fantastic food in the centre of Burano. We had the fried sardines (with a side of "French fries" which were fried thin cut potato, I was a bit skeptical when they were suggested but yes order these) and lasagne both were exceptionally good.
The menu is in multiple languages and the waiter that we had spoke good English. There is a small cover charge (1,8 euro each) which is on the menu. This was in a nice out door setting in the middle of Burano. Easy to find and well worth the visit.
Highly recommend eating here.

The food is good here, we had fried fish plateau, spaghetti with squid ink, spaghetti bolognaise and spaghetti with sea food and their famous biscuits.
The food came pretty fast and the waiter was nice.

The restaurant is exactly in the main square. The service is impeccable, the waiter was very polite, and the order came quickly. The food was very good, big portions. The sepia ink pasta are delicious, I recommend.

We stopped by to having lunch, very friendly staffs speaking enough English for you to order your meals!

Let me start with the warmth and happiness we received as soon as we approached the restaurant, Fabio (the owner), his family and employees super respectful and 100% attention to details. Their food is extremely fresh, from their cocktails, to their fish tapas all the way to they heart melting FIG CAKE (i wanted to steal the recipe!!!) no joke the BEST experience by far.

They let us sit were we wanted, we love a specific cocktail and they made it for us, introduced us to an unfiltered local beer, brought us some tapas for my mom and myself to share & finally a fig cake (you’ll want to take home)

Please have in mind these islands depend 100% on tourism and the pandemic hit them hard so please go support and tip these lovely people.

Caffé Vecio is excellent at what it does - serving a limited menu of local dishes,very fresh ingredients and generous portions (especially the salads) all served very quickly and good value. We had lunch for 3, sitting out in the sun and received very friendly and efficient service - thanks Renzo!!. A very happy experience.

Awesome cozy place. Great service indeed and I liked the menu. Location is nice, we were sitting outside, prices absolutelly average for Italy. I was able to charge my phone inside, when I asked the waiter, while I was enjoing pasta and my drink outside in the sun. What a view - colorful houses all around! I recommend the place for food and atmosphere.

Had a nice lunch outside. The spaghetti with tomatoes was great! Prices are as expected for such a touristy place, but not too expensive.

Really quaint and lovely restaurant in Burano. Visited here on a day trip from Venice and would recommend. Food was delightful along with the house wine. Highlights included the crab and cherry tomato gnocchi and the special lasagna.

Comparing with other Italian restaurants - this one is really good. Waiters friendly, food is tasty. Nice.

Went to Burano last year and had a lovely lunch - my partner is a veggie and she loved the pasta with pesto. I had the ravioli with prawns and walnuts with butternut squash (which needs 2 people to have and one of the other couples we were with joined me). It was amazing. We returned to Burano, stayed on Mazzorbo, and had lunch again. Same meal (they did my dish again as a single portion) and would always recommend this cafe. Lovely, and reasonable too.

Really fresh seafood. Seafood pasta is a must try!

Impression at first sight is "first available tourist magnet" but we were soo wrong. Had the house menu with the white house wine. Really good - definetiley worth the really modest price and nice service too.

Lovely staff and amazing food and wine

Great service, we told them we had little time as we had to jump back on a baot tour, so they took our order, delivered it in less than 5mins with our drinks and took payment then so we could relax, eat and the go when ready. Would recommend as the the service, food and drinks were great.
