In our 12 days in Tuscany this was our favorite store. We came in, probably close to closing, and were warmly welcomed. The owner has the most amazing collection. I absolutely love history had he was showing cook books from the 1600s to another customer. The store is everything you want to see in your trip to Tuscany.

I wanted a print of something we had seen on our trip. The owner was amazing and showed me a stack of Tuscany/Florence art work. I was able to quickly find a print that showed the area we stayed in Florence that dated from the 1830s. His prices are more than fair and I really wished we had a larger budget and suitcase space because we wants another print of San Gimignano. This store will always be a stop for us when we’re in Tuscany.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip. So many places are overwhelming but this store isn’t. It’s this beautifully amazing place where you’ll find the perfect gift or souvenir from your trip. The music conservatory is across the street and you hear their beautiful music while you shop which only makes the whole experience better.

Tomaso, the precious owner, stole our hearts. His extensive knowledge of Montepulciano and the history of the region truly is astounding, and if I do say, deserving of the Noble Peace Prize of Siena. A Must visit!

I think the fate of the next Renaissance might be in the hands of this very kind and intriguing bookseller. This place was like finding buried treasure. We stumbled in at around 10 pm, and really enjoyed browsing and discussing the future of global literacy. Thank you for being there.

We stumbled across Tomaso’s amazing libreria filled with books, art, and artifacts dating back centuries. Tomaso is a kind man with an extensive amount of knowledge on the history of Italy. He has read over 50,000 books that he holds in his shops and directed us to his website for further information about each. We purchased 2 original steel etched prints at a great price for which he provided certificates of authenticity.
There really is more to Montepulciano than just the wine!! We urge everyone to make a stop here and take a piece of Italian history home with them!

I was here this past summer as a study abroad student and this place had my interest 100% of the time. The owner is such a sweet man with a love for history just like me. The store is beautiful and well organized. He helps you find whatever you may be looking for and is very kind. One day I will return to this place.

Truly a place to get lost in these ancient books and artwork. A great place to gather a few drawings of cities you might've visited in Italy as a souvenir. But to be clear, this place includes books of all types - animals, biology, historical, etc. Definitely go!
