Albergo Gardesana - Residenza d'epoca

We found it on the net, took 2 attempts to get there but we made it. We wanted balcony room but couldn't, then 5 min after unpacking got the opportunity to move and grabbed it, then bucket of bubbles on top.
Small balcony but hey, our balcony over looking the water with bubbles, fantastic and unexpected.
Fantastic staff, fantastic area and food, breakfast views fantastic and rugs for evening sit outside.
We were going into Verona, advised by staff not to go as most places shut that day,wait 2 days and less tourists, great advise . In the mean time we had the caravan truck markets to keep us busy. So great a time we didn't get to the fort.
When we left the staff apologised for there poor English, hello we're in Italy, we are the ones to apologise.
We had great time, great location, very very relaxing, nothing a problem.

I first visited this hotel nearly 60 years ago. It is a tribute to the continued efforts of successive owners that it still provides excellent service today.

Recently updated it feels fresh and modern whilst also preserving an historic ambience.

Breakfast buffet was the best I have had ever, anywhere!

I love that I can park my car for free in a secured area with a controlled gate and many security cams so I have a good feeling for leaving my car overnight.

Really lovely stay, so pleased with the refurbishment of the rooms. Staff could not be more helpful, made our stay so much easier also with top tips. Great breakfast on the terrace. All made for an excellent but too short stay. Hopefully longer next time

Exceptionally fine cocktails and drinks in general.
Extraordinary polite, friendly and welcoming waiter.
There is coming a Snack Bar along with the drinks. Never had anything like it.

We have been in the restaurant as a couple, sitting in the balcony on the foremost left, overlooking the port and with views on the castle. The location is a super highlight and this restaurant is an amazing insider.

The restaurant made the reservation possible even though I had wrongfully booked for one day later (big thank you for that). The restaurant is located inside a historical buliding that today offers accomodation. You enter through the main door and talk to the receptionist who will accompany you to the restaurant's sitting area on the first floor.

The food: we were unsure about ordering a menu and decided to go "a la carte", we ordered a few of the fish items contained in the menu, and I can fairly assume, that the menu is really, really good. We chose this place to eat because we wanted high quality fish, which is not easy to find in our home country. At the end of the night we were not dissappointed, the fish quality was excellent.
The presentation of the food was delightful and very creative, the combination of flavors was always nice and nothing too exotic, they really do have a good kitchen.
We can recommend everything on the menu, but we were blown away by the fish in the salt crust (this day it was brass) delicious.
The dessert had to be a tiramisu, of course, which was presented in a super smart way. I recommend for creativity, the taste was really good.

The wine: There were many available wines and the quality of the drinks was very nice, you can request help to decide. We ordered an older white to go with the fish and the starters. Really nice wines, this is Italy.

The service: The maitre and the waiter were always ready to help, helping in German and in English language if necessary. The service was fast and competent, we were very pleased. There explanation of the dishes was professional and there was the right amount of small-talk.
Super service, 5 stars.

We said ciao with coffee and limoncello and the reception helped us to organize a return taxi, amazing service, your customer orientation is flawless :)

We will definitly remember this beautiful place in Torri del Benaco. We totally recommend Gardasana.

We didn't stay here, but had some nice cocktails on th terrace with a fabulous view on the tiny harbour. Excelent service by the waiter who also has a cocker ❤. Just go there and find out!

What a beautiful place to enjoy Lake Garda. We enjoyed the morning on the balcony overlooking the lake. A great boutique hotel. The breakfast was great and staff were friendly

This hotel was my favourite in Torri Del Benaco by far. The location is excellent and the hotel is beautiful inside and out from the comfortable seating outside to the beautiful rooms inside. They also have a wonderful restaurant upstairs on the balcony and the food , the view and the atmosphere were amazing. But in my view it's the wonderful staff that make this hotel so special. Nothing was to much trouble for them and each and everyone of them are friendly and helpful. I could not fault this hotel in anyway and will definitely return. Excellent in every way

Amazing don’t go anywhere else. An amazing magical setting right in a tiny harbour, with many restaurants, this place stands out because you’re ushered upstairs to the most magical romantic backdrop of pristine white table cloths decorated with the utmost detailed table setting, with gushing vine leaves cascading down masking a picturesque view of boats,water and in the distance, the mountains. The menu is delicately and enthusiastically put together and with the attentive staff we were guided through a wonderful evening of fish, and wine ending in deserts. They made us feel like we were creating a moment we would never forget.

Had a business meeting, only place in town with good stable internet. Speed up to 100mb/s. In addition, great service. They even got me an adapter, and fair prices.

Just BLISS! We've just left and booked again for next year....our annual Italy break! Yes! ..we COULD go somewhere else on Lake Garda but this hotel has it ALL!

Even though we arrived at 11.30 at night....Tino....the night porter turned out to collect our luggage from the hotel's car parking area!

NOT many children around in the hotel either....a plus for us!
Torri del Benaco will never cease to be a special venue....and the Gardesana is the icing on the cake!

We can't say much about the hotel or the restaurant. Only that the bar offers excellent drinks, great service and an absolutely charming view of the harbor and the castle of Torri del Benaco! Sit down and try it for yourself!

Really outstanding food, great wine selection. Great service. The food is a great, fine dining, take on classic Italian food without being pretentious.

We had a great aperitivo with some snacks with an awesome view on the lake.

Also the waiter was super nice.

If you want old world elegance with class and style then Hotel Gardesana Torri del Benaco is the place for you. Breathtaking views friendly service and a wonderful chef. We were at a family wedding aperitivo and OMG it was so elegant and stunning. We will be back.

I celebrated my birthday on the ristorante and it was amazing ! The view from the balcony was stunning , the staff super kind and the food delicious !

We had a wonderful meal in a great setting. The Perch and sea bass were awesome. Definitely worth a visit.

We were lucky to find this amazing place, serving absolutely gorgeous food, great friendly service and an amazing evening in the warmth of late summer. Don't miss the complimentary chocolate truffle!
