Best part of our Italy trip was staying here - the property is absolutely stunning and so serene. The only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer and we didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant. But the breakfast was delicious!

The staff are so kind and very welcoming. I made the biggest mistake by leaving my passport in the room but they immediately emailed me after we checked out and helped ship it out to my next hotel. True lifesavers!!!

This place is the epitome of Tuscan paradise!!! Myself and my partner have just returned from our wedding weekend at Villa Cicolina, which accommodated all of our friends and family and I honestly can't put into words how incredible everything was. From the exceptional views, enchanting rooms, charming decor, quaint pockets of immaculately maintained gardens, heavenly food and delicious wine, to the phenomenally hard working staff, who went above and beyond for an entire year to make it everything we could have ever wanted and worked relentlessly throughout our wedding weekend to ensure our guests were all very looked after.

We have had the joy of staying here twice now, during autumn and the peak summer season and on both occasions the villa is truly the serenest setting and a idyllic form of escapism. It has the perfect combination of rustic Tuscan grandeur (without being pretentious), but with touches of modernism outside of the main villa. The reviews generally speak for themselves, but we were surprised at the odd few comments regarding the location being far away from town and it being 'dated'. This is baffling to us! As soon as we started our research, we knew instantly the authentic style of property we were looking at and it is clearly noted on google maps to be approx. a 25/30 min walk from Montepulciano town centre! Also, one not to be missed.

We already cannot wait to return again and look forward to seeing the wonderful and friendly faces that made our trip so so special. If you are thinking of celebrating your wedding/a special occasion here, or even just to have a relaxing break, don't hesitate... it will be the trip of a lifetime!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Villa Cicolina. The historical charm of the house was truly enchanting. One aspect we'd like to highlight is that, due to a planning oversight on our part, we hadn't realized the necessity of having a car in the area, given the limited availability of taxis and the small local population. This became evident when we ventured out for dinner in the center of Montepulciano and, returning late at around 11pm, discovered that there were no operating taxis. In a moment of desperation, we reached out to the hotel, and to our amazement, the owner Andrea went above and beyond by personally coming to pick us up. This truly exemplifies his dedication to guest satisfaction and his generous nature. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to him. Furthermore, the restaurant on the premises was exceptional, and the server's warmth and kindness added to the experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Villa Cicolina and we couldn't have asked for a more elegant, beautiful, and serene venue. All the rooms were loved by our guests (we used all of them!) and were all very generously sized. I have seen some reviews mentioning that the rooms are dated - this is not the case. Every aspect of this hotel is well maintained and the rooms are full of rustic Italian charm. The bathrooms have also been criticized before but none of our guests had any issues and were purely complimentary of their accommodation.
Villa Cicolina has a great location with its hill top perch offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. This view is perfectly utilized by the infinity pool which is one of the best I've ever swam in! Considering this hotel offers uninterrupted views and peaceful surroundings, it is surprising how close Montepulciano is. Obviously, being in hilly rural Tuscany, it isn't a walk for elderly or those with limited mobility (about 25-30mins uphill on a fairly busy road) but the staff at reception have plenty of contacts for Taxis to drive the 5 minutes into town. We made the walk a few times ourselves without any bother. That being said, if you are wanting a rural setting close to a popular hill top town you can't do better than this location.
The restaurant has an incredible menu and the villa's own wine is phenomenal. It truly gives the perfect Tuscan experience.
The staff are amazing and are always willing to help. We had a huge amount of communication with them whilst planning our wedding and they exceeded our expectations in every department. Food and drink is served promptly and to superb standards, the gardens are kept pristine, and the reception and housekeeping staff make your stay extremely comfortable.
This hotel will forever have a place in our hearts for obvious reasons. But even if you are planning to visit for a short stay and not to get married, I promise you will feel true escapism, relaxation, and will always remember this as one of the most beautiful places you've ever stayed.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! The views of Villa Cicolina are unmatched! Absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and the room was amazing! The restaurant served some of the best food ever! Overall, one of the most stunning places to stay at! ❤

This place has been truly amazing. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the views. Our room was so nice, bed was comfy.

Service is absolutely perfect. Daniel was our server at dinner for two nights and he is just the sweetest and nicest guy. Made great wine recommendations too. The food is very good as well, and prices are very reasonable.

Breakfast was included and was a very upgraded continental style. The scrambled eggs are surprisingly tasty since they sit in a chafer, the pastries are fluffy and flavorful and there is tons of fresh fruit.

This is definitely worth the stay. It is so peaceful and relaxing, the views are stunning, and it is just like a little slice of paradise.

The most magical and romantic Eden in Tuscany, this place is special. Having breakfast and dinner in their garden that grew fruits, set in front of their own olive grove was straight from a fairytale.

Very delayed post, but Villa Cicolina is an absolute dream! We had to postpone our trip twice because of COVID, but the team at Villa Cicolina were so accommodating. The views are gorgeous and the food is delicious. We ate breakfast there every morning and the server was so nice and helpful. We had a romantic private dinner one night that was spectacular and we ate another dinner there in the dining room which was also tasty. I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area! A DREAM!

Villa Cicolina was a beautiful place and we had a great stay here. The highlight of our stay was hands down their restaurant (and the lovely restaurant staff!!). :) Had a very tasty pasta and their bisteca alla fiorentina was phenomenal.

Villa Cicolina is a fantastic little hotel, event space, and restaurant on the outskirts of Montepulciano in the Tuscany region of Italy. While my friends opted to have their wedding elsewhere, this would have been a beautiful spot to get married. Infinity pool and infinity hot tub looking over the valley. Interesting gardens and paths throughout the grounds. (Just check out the pictures on the website)

We ended up doing the rehearsal dinner here and the food was out of this world. The highlights were the lasagna (best lasagna I've ever had) and the chocolate lava cake. Great service and good wine.

I'd love to come back here again for a longer stay.

We had a room with breakfast and dinner included. The Villa is a quaint place, rooms are a bit rustic and fitting the style of a classic (ie not modern) Villa for the region (best we known at least). There are modern amenities and the grounds are beautiful. The pool is an infinity pool overlooking the Tuscana country side. Dinner though is what truly makes this a 5* experience. If you want a rustic hotel with some modern touches in the tuscan country side.... Definitely consider this place. Oh, staff is wonderful as well!

This was such an enchanting experience. The views were unparalleled, the food was perfectly unique, and the grounds were like a majestic garden. HIGHLY recommend staying here.

This is simply a GEM of the Tuscany nice settings very close to Montepuchiano great old town another thing is the Service, the servise is TOP of the line great place to stay very cosy very rustic but very very nice Especial thanks to Said he was amazing host ! Thanks a lot

A truly spectacular hotel. Only a 5 min drive from Montepulciano but feels completely remote. Incredible pool and service was impeccable. Will be back!

We stayed here our first night in Italy. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Everything about our time there was delightful. Make sure to eat at their restaurant! The fixed price menu is a bargain, and everything was delicious.

Amazing. Staff, location, views and meals are great. Parking on site. 4 course dinner is an extra cost but definitely worth it. Wish we had planned to stay longer
