Now that's Italian! We loved the setting and delicious food so much we ate here twice! Inside and under the arch. Food is superb! I loved the ravioloni maremmara! The sauce is to die for! The owner goes overboard to see that you love your experience!

Everything about tue restaurant is outstanding, the staff is very polite, the owner is a cheerful and very interesting man, and well the food is the best I have had so far. I only had a chance to try the carbonara but I can confidently say it is one of the best, it has a very distinct and flavorful taste. Don’t miss the opportunity of dining here!

We had excellent food. We ordered pici carbonara with truffle and Gorgonzola gnocchi with truffle. Both dishes were out of this world with flavours! For dessert, we ordered their chocolate cake and their homemade tiramisu. The owner was also really nice, and we left with a good advice: “enjoy life!”

We went to this restaurant based on reviews and were not disappointed. We had the cabonara with truffle and the Gorgonzola gnocchi with truffle and both dishes were absolutely amazing!! The wine was also the best we had in Tuscany. The owner was very friendly. All around this was a wonderful experience. We will return when we are next in Montepulciano!!

I had the best and tasty risotto of my life and my husband a wonderful spaghetti carbonara. The proposition for a wine was also absolutely the right one for us. I can absolutely recommand this restaurant

The food was AMAZING! We took the truffle Pici and the meat with honey/cheese sauce and both were perfect! The "direttore" (owner) is super kind, such as the staff 😊 Oh, and the place itself is...unique 🐰

Out of this world gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffle cream sauce! Amazing! Husband was very happy with his pici pasta carbonara with truffles and son had the regular lasagna which apparently was also great. Service is friendly and the place eclectic and spacious. Highly recommended. They also have risotto, meat and fish dishes that sounded wonderful.

A true jewel in all Italy! Oh my God, I haven’t experienced food like this in such a long time. God was watching over me when I found this restaurant. The owner, Pier is a LOVE. I will come back to this restaurant every time I can.

Very special location - both the views outside and the interior are stunning. The food is great, if you are into truffle they have a lot of options. The carbonara with truffle was amazing. The owner is a true italian host, very friendly and welcoming. The other waiters are not italians, they struggle with languages and seem a bit unexperienced - hopefully this improves over time. Overall pricing considering the location is fine. Worth a visit if you are in Montepulciano.

This place is a feast for the eyes!! It is so eclectic and was decorated by the head chef herself! The food and wine was great, too.

One of the most unique restaurants I’ve ever been too — an incredibly charismatic ambiance, with the utmost delicious food we ever tried in Tuscany. Definitely recommend to go if you’re looking for an alternative experience. Pierluigi and his wife own the restaurant and were super loving and kind.

My wife and I went for dinner today, and we both had a terrific experience. Loved the food, the ambience, and the staff who worked here! They are too sweet to accept my wife’s request for a simple pasta with white sauce and shrimp without hesitation. and there was a sweet older gentleman who sang for the customers, which was a very nice experience. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and visit here and we highly recommend it!

An experience you will not forget. The owner went around singing to people in Italian and then served up some tasty pasta.
The restaurant doesn’t look very big from the outside but it has quite a few tables and is full of trinkets.
We got the cheese stuffed gnocchi special and the pappadelle.

One of the many memories of tuscany that I will carry with me is that of Mr Pierluigi. He has been a wonderful and fun host. We had am amazing dinner here on our last day. I highly recommend the octopus and the asparagus with egg. The ambience was by far the most beautiful amongst the restraunts I have been.

The home made pasta is out of this world! We had it super tasty Etruscan and Carbonarra with truffles. The owners made this place uniquelly theirs! The decorations, the atmosphere are not to be found elsewhere. They are very warm, chatty, kind and welcoming + walk inside for this super cool view. Finally, the service was really kind. Must do!

The owner sang to us in Italian and served some of the best fresh pasta we have had. Better than anything you can get in Florence. Great ambiance and genuine Italian experience.

One of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Truffle carbonara and pasta with mushroom was best we had. Special wine too. Very friendly owner and staff, special ambiance. We sat by the window that was overlooking hills of Tuscany, it was just perfect. This is what you want when you come to Italy.

What a hidden gem! I initially chose this place for our group of 6 because of a stellar Yelp review! I had a little trouble locating it and called the restaurant who helped me locate it- it’s within the walls of the old city- and worth the walk!! This family owned place is like stepping back in time- the food is stellar and probably the best meal we had in Italy. Ambiance is incredible. Get the asparagus appetizer- actually get two because it’s that good. This will remain on our list of places we must go back to next time we’re there!

The servers were kind and the host is hilarious. He’ll walk around chatting to every table, get tables conversing with each other and then he’ll sing some opera.
