Caffè del Verone

Caffè del Verone becomes my favourite cafe in Florence.

It’s on the top floor of the Museo degli Innocenti. It is a great spot for meeting up with friends or having coffee with family. They have many outdoor seats for you to soak up the sun or have a drink watching sunset. The space is large and well-kept and furnished in a contemporary way.

It also serves lunch offering traditional Florentine and Tuscan dishes. Some must-have dishes such as pici with white meat sauce are always presented throughout the year, as well as homemade desserts.

I highly recommend it!

What a view across the rooftops of Florence in this well kept secret. Very friendly staff set up the perfect table for us. Not a big menu but the caesar salad I had was very fresh and excellent, with a good selection of local wines available to try.

This is a lovely rooftop bar on top of a museum located about the seven minute walk out of the central of Florence
I did not try any of the food we only had drinks, which it seems like many of the people who come here come for.
The view of the Domo and the rest of the city is magnificent. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is in line with European service.

My favorite cafe in the old town, come here multiple times each of my visits to the city. Elevator sometimes not working so you have to walk up to 4th floor. But as long as it’s not lunch rush hour you will get a good quiet place with a view.

We made a late breakfast with good coffee, one of our best experience in Florence, highly reccomended. Good price with good taste

Another great location that makes the slightly high prices worth it! What a fabulous view and you almost can't believe that you're still in the heart of Firenze - it's so quiet and serene looking over the terracotta rooftops towards the Duomo and the mountains beyond. It didn't seem to be very well marked and we only knew about it as we were specifically looking for rooftop spots for drinks and this came up - above the Ospedale degli Innocenti. I'm not sure too many people know about it either as we pretty much had it to ourselves other than a few very quiet tables. The staff was friendly, the breeze felt great on a hot June day, and the drinks were refreshing. A bit overpriced for the size, but again, you get what you pay for with the views! I had the Shakerato and it was tasty with a good jolt of energy for the rest of our day. Definitely worth another visit and a longer stay!

Stumbled upon this place after visiting a museum. Views are incredible! Coffee was a bit expensive but worth it with the view.

Very good coffee and very nice view

It offers a lovely view with a calm atmosphere. The staffs were very welcoming too. It was recommended by the hotel staff and we enjoyed a lot!

Great view, worth going just for the view.. Food and drink was good but expensive for what it was. However worth it to relax with great view and peace and quiet away from rest of the tourists.

The place is a hidden gem in florence, amazing view and the people that work there are very friendly. I just have drinks, and they where very good, so I can't comment on the food.

AMAZING VIEW, probabil the best coffee shop with a view from Firenze! really nice place. Confortabile, coffee is good, the place overall is fantastic and relaxing. It is a must GO place!

I am so grateful to our guide Paula for recommending this gem! With a breathtaking view and the fastest service, this was one of our most memorable meals in Florence. Highly recommend this Caffe.

Magnificent views! Very hot despite air-conditioning and a bit overpriced

The view is wonderful. Prices are reasonable. Service quality is good.

Outrageous view. Perfect spot for a coffee or beer in the afternoon. A bit expensive but obviously for a view like this. Didn't get charged a coperto for sitting, I guess service is included in the slightly inflated prices.

Great escapade from the tourist crowds and street noise.
Awesome to take some sun, have a coffee or an Aperol and admire a fantastic view in peace.
