Lovely food. Great harbour side setting. Friendly staff. English-speaking chef.

My newly wedded wife had the lobster pasta and I can say this was a first for her. Typically she doesn't like getting her hands dirty but this was an exception. The pasta was awesome, also fish soup was rich and deep. Highly recommend

A MUST-VISIT for seafood lovers! DORIA restaurant exceeded all expectations. The freshness of the seafood was unparalleled, and the flavors were absolutely delectable. From the perfectly grilled fish to the delicious sea urchin pasta, every dish showcased the chef's expertise. Overlooking the sea, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, and the staff's friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable, at a great value for money!
If you're in Giglio Island, this restaurant is a definite must-visit. Five stars for an unforgettable dining experience!

My fiancé and I were staying in the owner Luca’s airBnB when we decided to try his restaurant for dinner. It was, without a doubt, the best meal we enjoyed during our stay on Giglio. Slightly more upscale than the other options, with phenomenal service (we speak next to no Italian and our servers went above and beyond to accommodate—ask for the English menu!), and even more phenomenal food, the lovely porch sits above the marina and is absolutely perfect for a romantic night out.

This was one of the best lunches we had on our trip to Italy! A fantastisk ses food place that serves excellent pasta dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were nice, too.

We ended up having a rather nice lunch here on a day trip to Isola Del Giglio.
I didn't want to eat too much as I wasn't that hungry, but what I had was perfect.
I went for the Pici al Granchio Rosso (bigger and thicker spaghetti-like pasta) which consisted of tomato sauce and red crab.
The pici were nice and al dente, the sweet white crab meat (which I cracked open) went down well with the smooth and the deep tomato sauce that accompanied it.
All in all I was very happy with my choice, but seen as I love my pasta I'd say that there could of been a few more pici on the plate! ;)
The service was friendly and easy-going.
Would highly recommend this place if you find yourself on this pretty little island. Deserved 5 stars. :)

Great location and service plus every dish was spot on. Don't miss out on the sea urchin pasta -incredible Digestive was a nice ending touch!

Scelto per caso tra i molti a Giglio Porto. Ambiente molto accogliente. Ci ha servito il presumo proprietario che è stato molto squisito nello spiegarci le caratteristiche del loro vino Ansonaco. Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti all'astice (ottimi con un sugo di pomodoro veramente buono, dolce e non acido come spesso accade) e bevuto il loro vino Ansonaco sfuso e due dolci per € 50 a testa (gli spaghetti erano uno dei piatti più cari).

Affacciati e vedi il mare🤩ah no ci sei letteralmente sopra😄
Grazioso locale è stato il primo Al Giglio che abbiamo provato.
Pesce preparato in maniera semplice ma con gusto.
Servizio gradevole, davvero gentilissimo .

Arrivato al Giglio con barca privata ad ora di pranzo si finisce col dilemma di dove pranzare.
Porto del Giglio molto caratteristico ma la presenza di tanti negozietti induce a pensare a soliti ristoranti da turista in cui mangi male e paghi tanto.
La linea Internet andava e veniva per cui nemmeno possibilità di verificare i locali.
Attratto da un tetto coperto da edera ( o vite americana) ho provato il ristorante Doria.
Una piacevole sorpresa di antipasti buonissimi, realizzati con pesce fresco.
Un brodetto di seppie da perdere la testa per il giusto mix di agrodolce.
Manager di sala e la moglie Chef, una bella accoppiata di professionalita.
Bravi. Ho pranzato con piacere e bella accoglienza, ad un prezzo giusto.

Al Doria, si respira la vera atmosfera gigliese: cibo ottimo (nota di merito alle polpette di ombrina con maionese all’arancia, che da sole valgono il viaggio), personale in sala accogliente e cortese e servizio molto veloce. Per finire, la vista mare e la location rendono questo posto magico.

Bellissima esperienza! cibo ottimo, frittura leggera, buonissime le polpette di ombrina,
prezzo giusto, personale cortese e servizio veloce

Terrazza sul mare, servizio rapido e cortese. Ho trovato il menù molto interessante. Ottime le polpettine di ricciola e gli spaghetti vongole e bottarga, tempura di baccalà buonissima con la salsa pere e zenzero. Rapporto qualità prezzo a mio avviso altissimo.

Ottimo ristorante, tappa fissa ogni volta che passo dall’isola del Giglio, lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono gustare un pranzo o una cena in un bellissimo ristorante che si affaccia sul porticciolo. Da non perdere le polpette di ombrina!!

Ristorante a pochi metri dal porto, con affaccio sul mare. Locale ben curato e personale di sala che mi meritano il mio plauso per la gestione del cliente e della sala, gentili e ben preparati nel consigliare e illustrare i prodotti forniti. Cucina principalmente di pesce, di qualità e con prezzi onesti. Adatto per coppie o piccole comitive di amici, meglio prenotare un po' prima per essere sicuri di trovare posto, purtroppo ha una disponibilità limitata di posti.

Ristorante SUL mare che permette di sentirsi completamente immersi nel porto.
Il servizio è di ottima qualità, mai invasivo e sempre adeguato in tutti i momenti della cena.
Ho preso la seppia in umido come antipasto che con i suoi contrasti prepara alla grande le papille gustative per la portata principale.
Zuppetta caciuccata di ottima qualità.
Per concludere croccantino al cioccolato.
Mi sono trovato veramente bene.
Tornerò presto.
