La Taverna Del Dahu

A vibrant restaurant with friendly, helpful staff who were happy swapping into English for us when needed.
We tried four of the pizzas and I'm looking forward to going back and trying others.
The food was great and exactly what was needed after a day on the slopes. If you're looking for somewhere down to earth and welcoming La Taverna Del Dahu is a great option.

Amazing family-run local food...fresh and delicious. 😋 We went there twice, first for a coffee to warm up, and then returned for lunch.

Really charming family restaurant with excellent food. We asked could we have our pizzas relatively quickly as we were getting a train and they served the food in great time. Really interesting looking menu and sorry that did not get more time to spend there to explore all of the dishes but will next time. Don't think that they necessarily have a lot of English but that's fine as this is Italy! We were able to manage fine anyway. Highly recommended and looking forward to getting back there.

Great pizza, really a lot of choices, and reasonable prices (5-12 Euro). Great draft beers, got the "red" one (photo).

Quick efficient but friendly service. Really good value. We had 4 lovely pizzas. Our eldest doesn't normally eat all her pizza as finds some restaurants overload the cheese. Her margarita pizza was perfect. Hi praise indeed from one fussy teenager.

Renewed my excitement for off-season Bardonecchia. Atmosphere is understated, but food was fantastic. Ravioli Neri con gambretti was delicious.

Food was outstanding - cold meats & mountain cheeses followed by asparagus risotto. Delicious. Service was very good. Restaurant was packed with happy locals - always a good sign
