K10056 Cafè Bistrot

Great Fiorentina steak.
I asked for it rare and it came medium-rare but still 5stars.
They could add french fries or a side as complementary but again, it’s their marketing.
Ambient is nice and service good.
Their desserts are to die for!

Excellent food and service. We didn't feel we had proper Italian food on the mountains until got here. We had burgers, pasta and steak, all amazing. Good price for the best quality. Next time skiing, we will stay near this town and dine here.

Fun! Interesting food, nice atmosphere

We stopped in Oulx on the way to Italy from France. Primarily looking for a quick pitstop, we came across K10056 by chance and as five hungry travellers, we decided to give it a go. How glad we are that we did.

Despite being informed on arrival that there were no pizzas available - our disappointment was short-lived after being presented with five extravagant bowls of fresh pasta. Though the portions looked small, the pasta were rich and filling enough to satisfy even the 6'3'' rugby player in our group, who eloquently described the food as both "slaps" and "bangin'". Bangin' indeed.

We would highly recommend the desserts for those with a sweet tooth. The accompanying coffees were both rich and affordable, so good we ordered nearly a dozen.

But the real treat of K10056 is the service. We were impressed with the staff's multingual abilities, especially considering our groups' incomprehensible mix of English, Italian and French ordering styles.

A cynic might view Oulx as merely a transitory town, a motorway-side purgatory for weary travellers to move through on their way to France or Italy. But life is more than just the final destination - rather it is the journey itself that makes our lives worth living. And our journey was thoroughly enriched by our short time in Oulx.

Should you ever find yourself in Oulx, perhaps on a similar winter sports pilgrimage to ourselves, I would highly recommend paying the fine people of K10056 a visit.

Nice place, with good fresh Czech beer tapped straight from tanks. Kind and friendly staff.

Great place to eat and drink. English speaking, meals are good, and even better the beer. Good to visit with kids or without, good for big groups as well
