Highly recommend! Very tasty and fresh food made of high quality local italian products, variety of local wines and drinks. Valentina is very warm and open person who will describe all the details about their cuisine and history of place. Don’t hesitate to try vegetarian food in Italy, it is very surprising!

Amazing vegan & vegetarian food at affordable prices. We went for dinner twice to this rather new little restaurant in Mezzana. The couple has put a lot of creativity and passion in their small, well curated menu. We had overall 5 different starters & main dishes which all tasted fresh, tasty and delicious and the vanilla-cream dessert with blueberries & coconut crisps which was fantastic.
They have an English menu as well.
The only thing we might suggest (and which makes it "only" 4 stars for the location/ambience) is to switch the music to a little bit more light or happy music (was melodramatic 50s/60s music when we were there both nights). But that might just be my/our personal taste.
Full recommendation for any vegan or veggie lover and also suitable for non-vegan-focused people who look for healthy & organic food (eg cheese board or veg. lasagne)

Vegan Jewel, cannot recommend L‘Aia enough!! The plant based kitchen is fantastic and surprised us teo evenings in a row. The staff makes you feel at home instantly and the whole place feels rustic and cozy.

Fabulous place! Vegetarian and Vegan menu full of surprises. Italian fusion cuisine in a cruelty-free form!
We tried almost everything from their cart and each and single dish was to die for! The owner is extremely nice, has delightful taste in music and a sense of humor to make your food ordering even more pleasing. There is a great range of wine to go with your meal and a few types of desserts to make you roll down the hill.
I highly recommend it everyone who wants to try sth else than local pizza.

Amazing experience! We have tried the cheese board and two pastas, everything was delicious. But the best part was dessert. It will make your mouth water. The owners are very nice people.

A vegetarian/vegan place in the small town of Mezzana, yay! We called to make reservation. Amongst the ones we got, my fave was the "Hanged"--eggplant roll with crunchy onion, sesame miso and bokchoy oriental style. The owner said it will take weeks to get bokchoy delivered. It was sooo good! The kimchi with cabbage was also a winner.

This place was a hidden gem! The inside of the restaurant takes you back in time. We loved everything we tried, especially the lasagna and the meatballs.

We found that little pearl by accident and are really happy we did. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and interior. Also the menu stands out as it is completely vegetarian and vegan – not easy to find in that region. The service was excellent and we loved literally everything about the food. Amazing place!

High recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! It’s a nice change from the typical dishes you will find in other restaurants in the valley and the food is tasty and of high quality. Awsome place! We are extremly sad that we found it on our last day... We had the best ravioli ever ( 3 different kinds). The pasta used in ravioli was simply delicious!! Al dente but in a perfect way ;) Tiramisu with nutella is also very good. We asked for a home red wine, and we received some local bottle that was simply amaizing. The owner doesnt speak english but is very comunicative ane we were ale to comunicate ;) google translate helped a bit. There is a sign on the door, that you need the reservation to come and eat there, and we made it ;) I highly recomend this place!! one small minus for some - no pizza on menu ;) but you will find other italian specialities ;)

Amazing tiramisu, one of the best in my life. Loved the vibe. Friendly and helpful staff and the food was served very quickly.

Hidden in a smaller alley/crossroad, the L'AIA with its own handmade pasta is a must to go. We had the classic spaghetti bolognese, tagliatelle with bacon and capunti(?) pomodoro. The most expensive was the tagliatelle for 10€ which might be a bit more expensive for such a small village but it's worth it.

Una piccola perla in una regione in cui è davvero difficile trovare posti vegani. Piatti buonissimi, anche i più semplici hanno un gusto spaziale, segno degli ingredienti freschi e della passione che viene messa per prepararli. I proprietari simpatici e gentilissimi 🔝 se dovessi passare da queste parti tornerò sicuramente!

È difficile trovare un ristorante vegetariano o vegano da queste parti, ci siamo stati a cena per il compleanno della mia ragazza. Piatti deliziosi e preparati con molta cura, la coppia che gestisce il ristorante mette tutta la loro passione ed esperienza nei piatti che preparano. Consigliato!

Che dire! MERAVIGLIOSO! Igor è uno chef straordinario. Piatti curati, con un bouquet di sapori superlativo. In costante evoluzione. Valentina estremamente cortese e sorridente serve ai tavoli con grazia. Un esperienza magnifica!

Lo scorso weekend siamo stati a cena in questo nuovo locale della Val di Sole, ben sapendo che in zona l’offerta di pasti (soddisfacenti) totalmente vegetali è una rarità.
Abbiamo scoperto quindi il progetto di due giovani imprenditori, forti della loro idea di potersi affermare in un contesto esageratamente dominato da formaggi e burro, con la loro gustosa proposta vegetariana & vegana!
Giustamente poche proposte ma ben studiate, per stuzzicare l’appetito e la curiosità dei clienti, non sempre molto informati su una proposta di quel tipo in valle.
Siamo usciti soddisfatti dopo una breve chiacchierata con la titolare, speranzosi che realtà come queste possano avere futuro anche in ambiti così particolari (e tendenzialmente più chiusi) come quello montano.
Era tutto delizioso, il tempeh, la pasta, i dolci 😋
E da appassionato di birre artigianali non ho potuto che apprezzare una proposta veramente valida, fatta di microbirrifici locali e non solo.
