Ristorante Anchise

One of the best restaurants I've been to. Nice atmosphere with decent music, great views over the valley to the sea, very nice staff who even remembered me from a few months ago and above all, excellent Italian food the way it should be.

Fabulous family run restaurant offering outstanding views of nearby hills and mountains. Ingredients are locally produced and the food is cooked with traditional flare and passion. We had a brilliant time and a truly delicious lunch accompanied by the warm welcoming of the owners. Strongly recommended if you are after a beautiful venue and fresh regional food. Well done Anchise, we'll be back!

The pizza and pasta were exceptional. I mean truly exceptional. The service was personal, and accommodated special requests with charm and diligence. We had dinner but it looks like that for lunch the view is amazing. I warmly recommend.

A very nice and cozy place with romantic atmosphere, delicious food and drinks;sympathetic and wiling staff is ready to help you even at midnight when the bus is definitely not coming. Thank you very much, we appreciate it a lot!

The Right place to have the best food, beverages and service you would imagine!
I have choose this place to have some seafood, looking at the menu we choose some meat dishes and but it is very famous for pizza! Well, I can tell that they are good even with arrosticini - typical aruzzese dishes - and meat in general!
The team is international and very kind!
Definitely one of the place to have lunch or dinner even more for the beautiful landscape!

One of my favourite places in the world. My first visit was 37 years ago as a baby and today I'm still coming here. The food (mostly Pizza) is excellent, the service is really good and I really love the restaurant.
Once you come here, you should try the Olive Ripiene and Cremini. Both are specialities from the region and they will blow your mind.
I also suggest to take a seat at the windows so you can see the whole surroundings of Tortoreto. You can see then the harbour of Giulianova and also the Gran Sasso at the same time. Wow!

The Ristorante Anchise in Tortoreto Alto is one of the best restaurants I have ever been. The food is delicious: You have to try the Antipasto Anchise! There is tasty ham, salami, olive ripiene (mincefilled fried olives), buffalo mozzarella and something that is called „Cremini“, sweet little pieces of magic, which you have to try yourself, because they are undescribable. With the Antipasto comes the most delicious Focaccia you can get. Wonderful! You also have to try the Pizza. We had the tuna & artichoke one and the „capricciosa“, but it does not matter which one you take - they are all great. The noodles and the gnocchi from the primi piatti menu are delicious, too, so if you do not want to eat pizza every time, this is a good alternative. The desserts are sweet, homemade (by „la donna“) and with a cup of Espresso (which is simply called „caffè“) they are the perfect finishing touch to a perfect dinner.
If you have the opportunity then take a seat by the windows on the balcony. The view is overwhelming! You can see the sea, the beaches and some of the Tortoreto hills.
The best part of the Ristorante Anchise though are the people who work there. Greetings to Graziano and his lovely wife! I have seldom felt so welcome somewhere. After the second time we had eaten there, Graziano knew, what we had ordered and made us feel at home. Dear Graziano and the whole Anchise-team, thank you so much for an unforgettable stay in your restaurant and for a wonderful last evening on the upper balcony and the cookies! We will be back next year for sure!

Food, courtesy, excellent! Pizza "la teglia" Is the best! Easy access and wanderful position.

Wonderful meal with many classic Abruzzese dishes on the menu. They also make a great pizza. Manager and staff were attentive and very friendly.

Always friendly, always open, fanstastic view, great selection of food. It is a fantastic restaurant regardless if you are just one person or a big group!
