My husband and I experienced a delightful evening at this restaurant during our holiday visit to Bolsena. Introduced by friends, we were instantly captivated by the inviting ambiance. The culinary journey began with impeccably flavored dishes – my husband savored the tender vitello with a delectable sauce, while I indulged in perfectly cooked baccalá paired with seasonal vegetables.
The staff's friendliness and politeness added to the overall positive experience. Our waitress skillfully recommended a wine that complemented our dishes flawlessly, enhancing the dining pleasure. To top off our culinary adventure, we ventured into the realm of desserts, opting for the cheesecake cannolo. A revelation for me, as a tiramisu enthusiast, this sweet surprise left an indelible mark.

In summary, we highly recommend this restaurant and plan to revisit during our stay in Bolsena. From the flavorful dishes to the impeccable service, it's a gastronomic haven that warrants a return visit.

Steak was cooked perfectly and was so tender! Food Presentation was also on point and waitress was so accommodating and kind. I’ll come back for the steak for sure.

The best main course I’ve had in a while. Same for my husband. I had the Mille-feuille and my husband steak tartare as a starter and bistecca alla pizzaiola after. Both delicious!

WOW what a gem of a place. So accommodating. Staff assisted me with gluten choices and the meals where awesome. My Australian language was no barrier to the staff. Thanks for a genuine Italian restaurant experience.

I wandered by on a Sunday early afternoon and am delighted I went in. I sat out back in the quaint garden, oozing with charm and framed in plump grapes, yes, actual grape vines! I ordered a glass of house red wine with an apertivo of eggplant parmigiana. The dish was small, which suited me well, the eggplant was delightfully tender and surrounded by foam. Delish!!! I will be back.

We had a cookingcourse in this lovely restaurant. We learned a lot about Italian food from the chef and his wife. The food is outstanding and they cook with love and passion. We will defenitely be back to eat here and we highly recommend this restaurant to every one!

Best pizza in town - ate it all even the edges! Next time I will definitely go for another one. You need to taste them all.

Really nice place to eat. It's not easy to find good vegetarian or even vegan menus in Bolsena. But the Borgodentro offers it in really high quality - home made. Wonderful cook!
And this was only about the food. Now consider the location - sitting in a green backyard in a medieval old town, hidden behind narrow pathways - just beautiful.
And then the desert. They offer four different sweets, we each of them and didn't regret a single spoon ;-)

The food was delicious, very friendly waiter/owner, the garden was lovely with a relaxed vibe. We had the scampi pasta and burrata and really enjoyed it. For dessert we had the cheese cake and tiramisu, also deliciosa. Highly recommend this place, it’s a bit hidden and deserves more guests!

Lovely spot of a quiet and exceptional meal! We have dined here several times since January 2022 and have found Borgo Dentro to be consistently outstanding, both in quality of meals and in service. The owner/chef is extremely kind and welcoming; the staff is helpful and efficient. The manu is creative, offering different "twists" on dishes, as well as traditional favorites prepared and presented with exceptional skill and care. The below ground level location is cozy and fun - we look forward to dining in the garden as the weather improves. Borgo Dentro has our highest recommendation and we wish them tremendous success!

The design and ambiance and background music Cole Porter etc made a perfect backdrop for delicious and creative dishes and the tiramisu is ina league of its own. And the service by waiter owner Luca was outstanding. If I try to eat there at least once a week. Buon appetito

Vandaag met mijn man heerlijk gegeten bij Osteria del Borgo Dentro. We vinden het altijd fijn om de gerechten samen te delen. We vroegen daarom bij het bestellen om een extra bord bij ieder gerecht. Wat een verrassing dat we ieder een eigen mooi opgemaakt bord kregen. Echt heel goed geregeld en erg smaakvol. Top restaurant die ik iedereen kan aanraden.

Molto deliziosa!!! Man kann es nicht anders beschreiben. Eine kreative Küche, mit Herz und Seele zubereitete Gerichte, die allesamt wahre Geschmacksexplosionen sind und die man in dem heimeligen Garten unter Weinreben genießen kann. Egal ob man Fisch oder Fleisch bestellt, hier schmeckt vom Antipasti über die hausgemachten Nudelkreationen bis hin zum liebevoll angerichteten Dolce alles.
Die Chefin empfiehlt feine Weine aus der Region und kann zu jedem Produkt eine Geschichte erzählen.
Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam (auch Hunde sind willkommen). Der Chef / Koch, Gigi, unterhält sich, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, auch gerne mit seinen Gästen.
Für uns definitiv das beste Restaurant in Bolsena, wenn man mal was anderes als ein Touristenmenü oder eine Pizza essen möchte.

Una vera sorpresa, tra i vicoli del delizioso centro storico di Bolsena, questo ristorante con i due giovani proprietari ti accoglie davvero al meglio. Cibo ottimo, dessert da 10 e lode, servizio cordiale e attento della signora Alina, bel menù, in particolare consigliamo: le mezze maniche con salsa di zucca, gorgonzola e scaglie di tartufo; gli spaghettoni quadrati con tonno e pachino; collo di maialino cotto in birra; e per finire i dolci: panna cotta all'arancia e strudel su letto di crema. Sicuramente torneremo a Bolsena e anche al "Borgo dentro".

Siamo stati in questo ristorante due volte nel giro di pochi giorni, ed entrambe le esperienze sono state eccellenti. La prima volta abbiamo gustato delle ottime portate di carne, cucinate alla perfezione e presentate con grande cura. La qualità della materia prima si sente subito, così come la passione dello chef.

Il locale è molto accogliente, con un'atmosfera calda e rilassante, ideale per una cena piacevole. Un grande punto a favore è stata la nostra cameriera: cortese, sempre sorridente e attenta a ogni dettaglio, ha reso la nostra serata ancora più piacevole.

Siamo rimasti così colpiti che dopo due giorni siamo tornati per assaggiare il pesce, e anche questa volta il ristorante ha superato le aspettative. Il pesce era freschissimo e cucinato in modo eccellente.

In sintesi, un ristorante che sa come farti sentire a casa, con un servizio impeccabile e una cucina davvero ottima.
