Antica Trattoria Pizzeria del Corso

Found this lovely restaurant down a traditional Italian lane off a local plaza, we'd booked in advance and the staff were very friendly (especially considering our limited Italian vocabulary!)

They provided quick unpressured service and made sure we were happy with the food.

The food of course was fantastic, could not fault it in any way whatsoever especially the dessert!

The atmosphere was lively but not loud and the restaurant decor was traditional and pleasant.

Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic pizzas. Excellent Neapolitan style crust with generous toppings and very fairly priced. The drizzle of pesto on my parmigiana pizza was a delicious touch. Ate about two-thirds and took the rest away to gobble up for dinner. Friendly and welcoming service. Using a little Italian is appreciated here. Highly recommended

We were not planning on stopping in Bolsena for dinner but so happy we did! The food, the owner, and his wife made our evening unforgettable. We only tried the pizza but as Italians, we can say it was by far one of the best we've had in the area. Extremely reasonable prices and a fabulous town vibe. We will be back for the homemade liquorice liquor too!

Authentic atmosphere and really great food!

We had visited the Trattoria before and had concerns over their ability to cook for the extra garden tables.They no longer have the garden,and the cooking and service has returned to be fabulous. We ate at least 4 times in 2 weeks,normally without a reservation and didn't have a bad meal.I can recommend the Pizza's and the the Riggatoni Nasona as being some of my favourite foods whilst in Bolsena.Vicenzo and his wife and staff run a quality business which is improving year on year.

It's a great local and authentic place with the matching attitude and atmosphere. We had a very good pizza salad and vegetables with a nice glass of chilled white wine it was perfect. They don't serve "drinks only"

Food is very delicious. We had the Bruscetta Mista, Pasta with mushrooms and tartufo, and beef steak. All of this was very good! Sit outside, inside it can become loud if it is very full. Service was excellent, even though at the end they became very busy (all tables occupied, inside and outside, so full understanding for that). Highly recommended!

Huge menu, generous servings, quality food, traditional cuisine, friendly atmosphere. Good selection of artisanal beers.
