Wonderful gem of a hotel in the lovely village of Locana. Stylish, modern and welcoming hotel.
Breakfast plentiful and a vast spread of yummy food.
Rosita, the host was friendly and very happy to share all her tips for the area including the hikes.
Nearby pizza restaurant was superb.
Highly recommend.

My only critique is that I can't rate this hotel SIX stars!

I cannot emphasize how amazing this property is.

Every attention to detail for an epic stay is provided!

From the location to the rooms to the food.

Rosita and Mattia are amazing hosts that make you feel "at home" in every aspect.

Rosita also provided area attraction recommendations, and made dinner reservations for us.

When I make it back to Italy from the States I will not even consider staying anywhere else.

Very rarely are my expectations met and exceeded to this degree.

Stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel, designed and run by a lovely couple of architects who are the perfect hosts. Loads of local knowledge, great restaurant recommendations (even booked them for us) and shared an amazing variety of cycling routes. Incredible scenery and really varied climbs. Came for the Colle del Nicolette, famous for the final scene of The Italian Job, but every day had a different and beautiful climb of forests, dams, lakes, medieval villages, ibex, marmot and alpine pastures, sharing the smooth tarmac with very few cars. Coupled with a hearty breakfast of freshly cooked delights, this was the perfect cycling holiday!

Camere d'Aria - an absolute feel-good place.
The warm nature of the owner Rosita, her great tips for hikes, sights & restaurants as well as the modern but absolutely cozy ambience of the guest house, which is so clean and fresh, invites you to linger.
We were traveling with a baby and couldn't have asked for more care. The crib was ready, breakfast was set up with a high chair and cutlery. And in the evening we ordered food from the deli next door. Rosita set the table for us for a romantic candlelit dinner.
The landscape and the Paradiso National Park were a big surprise for us. In May with very little tourism, but the rarity of being able to see ibex within a few meters.

The best cycling hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rosita was the perfect host. She thought of everything. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, in a great location. Breakfast was incredible. Highly recommended!

We came to Italy to bike in Bassano, Glurns, and here. All were great, but this is the location I want to return. The town is small and feels authentic, not touristy. Rosita has renovated the hotel with impeccable taste and she is the ideal host. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

It was really perfect stay for our 2 families! First of all - exceptional host. Rosita is extremely kind, helpful and hospitable person. She prepared amazing breakfast for us - fresh, healthy and veeeery tasty. During the day we could use spacious kitchen (with coffee, cake, fruits) as well as additional library room. What is more she gave us very usefull tips about places worth visiting and good restaurants nearby. When it comes to accomodation it was also briliant. Rooms are very clean, modern and stylish. Each of them have its own spacious bathroom. There is also other useful equipment in each room like fridge, kettle, as well as variety of tee to prepare. To conclude - everything was perfect!!! This place is definetely worth visiting!!!

Excellent little hotel in the center of a charming mountain village. The hotel has been lovingly renovated with all mod cons including a lift, making access easy. The room was very smart, clean and functional, but the cherry on top was the original balcony with views out over the village and the mountains beyond. The breakfast was 5 star, there was loads of choice and the food was impeccable with options for every diet. The host Rosita made the whole experience a delight, she showed us the best hiking trails and recommended local restaurants. The area is next to a national park, so the mountains are largely untouched making hiking there an incredible experience with endless breathtaking views unadulterated by ski lifts or telephone poles. If you do visit the area (which I definitely recommend) I don't think you could do better than this hotel.

Stayed here with family a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The building is central in the town, with a lovely shop and bar very close by. The hotel itself is beautifully presented, very modern and stylish. My room had a balcony out to the front and was decorated superbly. Rosita was an outstanding host and looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. The breakfast was delicious, with so much choice. I will most definitely be back again.

I have stayed at one of Rosita’s other properties in the past but this was my first time at Camere d’Aria. Rosita has excelled herself with this amazing property in one of Italy’s best kept secret places, Locana. The property overall is modern, environmentally friendly and superbly presented whilst retaining the local charm and character. It needs to be said that Rosita designed this place herself, being a highly skilled architect.

The rooms are simple, functional and beautifully presented. You want for nothing. Plenty of power points in convenient locations and comfortable beds and furniture. The balcony provides a lovely intimate view of old Locana and the electric blinds provide some much needed darkness and privacy during siesta.

The kitchen and dining area is spacious and fully stocked with all tools and equipment. Rosita provides a true, Italian banquet every morning with so much choice and variety for breakfast. The communal area is cosy with plenty of reading material.

Free, super fast WiFi is provided throughout the building and there is adequate free parking very close by. A lift runs up the centre of the building and each room is fully accessible for wheelchair users with extra equipment already built in.

I honestly cannot think of any negative points about my stay. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about Camere d’Aria because I want to keep it as my special secret place but Rosita has one of the finest B&B’s in the region and it deserves to be packed 365 days a year. Rosita is on hand with great communication and tips of where to visit. She is the perfect host.

Well…I can only give 5 stars but if 6 stars is possible I’d give that! Rosita is the most wonderful host I’ve met and I’ve met countless - no hyperbolic here. The host is very enthusiastic about helping her guests having the best time and she knows her stuff. The whole place is so clean and modern designed yet still fit in with small village vibe. Breakfast is simple but of great quality you won’t be craving anything more. Amazing place wonderful host, just fantastic through and through.

One of the loveliest hotels we've ever stayed and the highlight of our trip to Italy. Beautifully designed, extremely comfortable, and zero-emission, with the warmest, most amazing owner, who went out of her way to help us. Locana itself is a gorgeous, pristine area with splendid hiking and bicycling. The hotel even has a garage to store your bikes.

Words cannot describe how special this place is. I booked this hotel before it was even properly built/finished. I loved the vision Rosita had for the place. I have just returned from my stay there (for a week) and have found it very hard to put into words the experience of staying at Camere d’Aria. The hotel is beautiful, I was on a motorbike and had full use/access of the lockable garage. The room was STUNNING - I stayed in room A. Plenty of storage, beautiful bathroom, high ceilings, lovely balcony with a view. The room and hotel has a feel of real quality, they have obviously spent a lot of time and money finding the best products/fixtures/furniture. You even have USB and USB-C ports in the room, so lots of adaptors/chargers aren’t needed (saves packing space on the motorbike). The room/bathroom was cleaned every day, didn’t expect that so it was nice to come back to spotless accommodation after a day out. The whole hotel is immaculately clean. The design and interior of the hotel is extremely high end, it’s beautifully finished. The breakfast is amazing each morning, I miss that the most! I mentioned I didn’t eat dairy and was presented with a vegan croissant every day thereafter (I can’t even find those in Hertfordshire). On a personal level, Rosita and Mattia are perfect hosts. Professional but super friendly, anything they can help with - they will. They were fantastic at suggesting routes/key attractions locally (even providing a map). This hotel is perfect for motorcycling/bicycles/hiking - but also just relaxing. Mattia knows the best views for motorcycling/biking. The local area is brilliant in Locana, Rosita even can reserve restaurant tables in places for you (you know it’s good food if busy with Italians eating there). Lots of mountain passes for the motorbike, this is an excellent ‘base’ to then go out and return from each day. I can’t wait to return. This is truly the best place I have ever stayed. Thank you Rosita (and Mattia).

You should stay here. Seriously, book it now.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here and it was nothing short of perfect. Rosita is a brilliant host who genuinely cares about the quality of your stay and can give you great tips and insight into things to see and do.

The accommodation is beautifully designed and maintained to the highest standard.

I cannot wait to go back!

Our 6-night stay in Room E was simply perfect. The room - very nicely designed -caters a kettle (and a variety of tea and infusions), yoga set, smart TV, balcony and bathroom amenities. In the breakfast room you can have a coffee, slice o cake, patisserie and other snacks, anytime. The breakfast is insane and the quality of the food is superb: croissants, cakes, cheese, ham, fresh fruit, juice, fresh bread, but also nut cream, jam, dried fruits, hummus, and much more! It is possible to eat on site, with home delivery. The young hosts - Rosita and Mattia, the nice couple! - can give any advice on excursions on foot or by bike (Mattia is really a sports guy). The location is accessible to all.
Locana is just at the entrance of Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso: a lot to do and to see, if you love open air activities.
