Bistrò Margherita

Cheap, delicious sandwiches! The lady was friendly and let us make our own sandwiches with whatever bread and ingredients she had in the window. There was a huge selection of cheese, meats, anchovies and other antipasti and fresh tomato and lettuce. I got a huge panino with eggplant, zucchini, formaggio misto, acchiuge, pomodoro and it only cost €7 !!! I was expecting to pay way more giving the beautiful location overlooking the sea. If you're after a supermarket per se it really is just a small little shop. But for a quick lunch it's truly perfect. Grazie mille!!

Once I got to town I stumbled upon this little bistro! Took a chance and got a basic pizza Margherita with limonata! It was so good I went back to get more!!! Delicious food, great drinks, friendly people! Definitely recommend this place if you stop by Corniglia!!

The best focaccia I had on my entire trip. The women working there were very accommodating and helpful.

Couldn't give more praise to this place. Wonderful experience and delicious, inexpensive sandwiches and focaccia pizzas. Must try.

There are two locations with the name Bistrò Margherita - one is the shop on the road, Via Stazione, the other is a pizza takeaway on pedestrian Via Fieschi (just on the first bend) - I've requested Google add it. The shop gets the bad reviews but in my experience they were great. The pizza and focaccia shop was hard to understand at first (due to a slightly dismissive server, lack of notices and my inability to speak Italian) but eventually I figured out they sell slices during the day then cook fresh pizzas from around 7pm, when a pizzaiolo comes in, and they flip the menu board that's on the wall (all 3 meters of it!). The pizza was good too with good ingredients. The crust was crispy on ours - I'm not sure this is always the way as it depends on moisture levels in the dough/oven and cooking time etc. We had ours on our balcony but you could go to the sea view terrace at the end of the street (with a cold beer from A Butiega supermarket on the way as they have the best price in town €3/66cl).

The best pizza in Cinque Terre! Really delicious sourdough pizza, definitely recommend the Neapolitana. Lots of choice and lovely staff

The most delicious focaccia I’ve ever had tbh

We tried the pesto and gargonzola focaccia and it was sooo good! Paused on the steps to inhale the whole thing whilst it was hot. Must try!

If you want to try the real focaccia di recco, bistrò Margherita 2.0 is the best you can find in the area. Besides that, also all the other focacce are great!

A great place for a quick bite or lunch: focaccias, pizza slices, pastries. Delicious!

Sundries tomatoes, white anchovies with lemon, and onion foccacia!! Delicious. They will reheat the foccacia too. Will come back for more pesto and anchovies for sure. Reasonable prices as well.

i don’t understand the low ratings in this place, maybe the staff and shop practices have changed over the years because i loved the focaccia here (plain for 2.5 euros & it was soft and billowy but crispy at the edges & i almost cried) & the lady at the counter was so sweet and smiley

Best pizza out of all cinque terre villages! Nice atmosphere as well: there is a feeling of home with amazing music!

My husband got a pesto pizza here and said, “this pizza makes me never want American pizza again.” He likes it so much, he made me go back for another slice!
They do have Farinata bread, which is traditionally not made with gluten- it’s made with chickpeas. It’s worth asking about if you’re here! They make it all fresh.

the pesto gorgonzola focaccia bread is absolutely stunning. melts in your mouth. perfect levels of softness and moisture.
I’ll have dreams of that delicious piece of bread
