This is an absolute gem of a store! We had a lovely time talking to the owner, Francesco, and his son Matteo. Francesco is a 5th generation paper artisan and they make all their products by hand.

Beautiful beautiful work and we cannot wait to come back again!

This store is so special!!!
It's unique and home to some of the most beautiful handmade paper crafts I have ever seen! Words won't do this place justice - you just have to visit!

Very quaint and cool little store to visit. It's a store and studio. We were served and had the pleasure of meeting the shop owner's son, Matthew, who was very kind, friendly, helpful and very proud of his father's artwork. Definitely worth stopping in whenever in Firenze.

The ART here is just that- handmade and gorgeous. We loved chatting with Matthew, the son of the owner/artist. He showed us how each card is different and explained some of the techniques used in this truly authentic family business. Skip the souvenir shops filled with cheap goods mass produced in China or Vietnam and buy something truly Florentine (and very reasonably priced for what it is!)

During my semester abroad in Florence, this was one of my favorite shops to visit. The products in this shop are beautiful and so skillfully hand made. The owner even demonstrates how the marble paper that they make their products out of are made; I was able to see the little show three times lol. I had the pleasure of becoming friends with the owner of this store, he is an incredibly genuine and kind man, and he even let me work with him to make a piece of paper during one of my many visits. As my time comes to a close here in Florence, this shop, and my new friend, are one of the things I am going to miss most about this city. If you ever make it to Florence, I highly suggest you stop in and see the magic for yourself. :)

The owner of the store was very welcoming and a kind and wise man who patiently imparts knowledge as he answers my million questions about paper, history, evolution, humanity, and ethics of running a business. Got lost in time talking to the owner and agree with the other reviews that it’s better than the other museums! Definitely changed my perspective on paper and bookbinding. A must visit when in Florence!

A must-see shop if you ever come to Florence and want to buy a unique souvenir or just admire what it has to offer. The creations are handmade and very beautiful and the owner is such a pleasant person who is clearly passionate about his art. He invited us to see how he does paper marbling and then showed us around his shop. Overall it was a very lovely experience.

Skip all the other stationary and paper crafts in Florence and go here for a conversation about Florentine paper. Wax poetic and compare your favourite artwork with the proprietors. Lose all sense of time as they share their concern for the loss of small artisans and authentic crafts in their beloved city. Besides journals, cards and paper they all carry a selection of ceramic and fabric arts from their friends.

This little paper shop is heaven for paper enthusiasts. The owner is so so welcoming and his stories are wonderful. It's better than all museums we went to. Thank you for this great afternoon.

Beautiful store, with a mix of artisanal, and ... some not so artisanal stuff. But what was absolutely unique was the reception from the owner, showing how to do the traditional Florence paper printing. Showing and interacting with the kids in an extremely empathic way. And then, in the end, nobody pushing you to by any stuff (although difficult to resist...) So, a wonderful human experience, which is something that you cannot get from any online shopping ;-)

The owner, a 5th generation book binder, is happy to talk to you about the bookbinding trade and will take you into his workshop. Ask him about any of the prints and he can tell you how he designed them, or which designs he found in flea markets. He makes a point that there is no pressure to buy anything, but with the beauty of his work you are going to want to!
