Great place to go shopping. The store is enormous. First time in there you need more than 30 minutes. But that's not all bad they have almost everything. Great place for fresh veggies and cheese. Own big corner of wine.
Well worth a visit.

Good value for money supermarket in La Spezia, not far from the train station where you can find a good selection of drinks and food. I like specially the fresh pasta & pesto, cheese and wines.

Great big supermarket in the center of La Spezia. Your best bet in the center of the city. A lot of Organic and Eco products. Coop is the best supermarket chain in Liguria, together with Esselunga. Way better than low quality-expensive Carrefours.

Tourist. I like Co-op in Switzerland better because there is more grab-and-go food options. Overall, a fan of Co-op because of the overall selection of products.
