Visiting Leonardo Shoes was the highlight of my trip in Florence. If you are looking for authentic Italian shoes, this is the best place in all of Florence! Amazing selection of shoes and jackets, as well as other leather goods, with an affordable price. I bought 3 shoes and all have been very comfortable and of great quality. The staff also provided exceptional service, being very helpful and kind in anything I needed. Definitely will be coming back for more cute shoes as they have plenty! Love this place!!!

I have been meaning to write this review for awhile now, last June my fiancé and I were in Florence when we stumbled upon Leonardo's shop.

Leonardo, his son and the shoe maker (forgive me for forgetting his name) are INCREDIBLE. I purchased 3 pairs of shoes, one of which I desperately wanted for my wedding shower but they did not have my size. The team told me no worries that they would make the shoe for me and for me to come back a few days later. Talk about incredible customer service!

When we went back to pick up the sandals I ended up purchasing a leather jacket and wallets as gifts for my brothers. My brothers loved their wallets so much that they actually ordered shoes from Leonardo's and had them shipped to the United States to wear with their Tux for my wedding!

We will be returning Florence this June and our first shopping stop will definitely be Leonardo's!

We ordered custom designed high quality shoes at Leonardo shows while visiting Florence. They designed the shoe to perfection with top quality and shipped it to us in NY. Mr. Leonardo was a true gentleman throughout the entire time to make sure we were completely satisfied. Very highly recommended!

I ordered a pair of shoes, I purchased when in the store in Florence, just in a different color. I ordered on June 14, 2023 and they arrived at my office in Maine, USA, on June 19, 2023. They sent an email to track the package and everything arrived, even the bonus of extra savings on my next pair. Thank you so much for the beautiful Italian shoes. Great company!

Absolutely amazing shoes! My brother and I bought two pairs of black suede loafers for our sisters wedding. The craftsmanship is incredible and they arrived in Boston in just a few days. We danced all night with our shoes fresh out of the box and our feet felt amazing the next day. My dad bought a pair of LV dress shoes and his feet were killing him.

I been to Florence many times, and I always walked past Leonardo shoe store but never stopped in. So when I came back home and months later wanted to order some shoes I figured I would give them a try. I ordered a pair and received them quite quickly, they were just what I ordered they looked great. But I made a mistake and order the wrong size, I contacted the customer service which was very easy. They simply walked me through the return procedure, ( no pun intended )and I received the correct size very quickly. I just wanted to say they handled everything so efficiently with professionalism. I definitely will use them again.

Stopped in with my wife and got some unique woven leather women’s sandals and men’s loafers. Service was nice, not pushy and they had tons of shoes to select from. This place makes the Macy shoe department back in Texas look sad.

Love this shop, and even more the family team. I have bought several pairs of shoes there and they are fantastic. On our last visit, my wife and my colleague each tried on every jacket they had in the shop. We were literally there for hours and they had a smile the whole time while I wanted to punch myself in the face for how long it was taking. And when I couldn't find just the right boot, Leonardo offered to make them just like I wanted, and ship them to me. They arrived early, and perfect. We visit them every time we are in Florence and will continue to. Can you find cheaper shoes? Probably. Can you find better service and quality? Not a chance. See you soon!

I was in Florence in 2016, and just stumbled onto this shoe store. At that time I bought 3 pairs of shoes, and have loved them wearing them a lot. I recently went to Rome, and made the train ride up to Florence just so I could go back to this store. Their craftsmanship is amazing, and for hand made shoes that you could easily wear for 20 years, their prices are very reasonable. Their staff is fantastic and very easy to work with as well.

I had their store starred as a place to visit and we went back three times over the four days we've been in Florence. Shoes for three of us, wallets, and a jacket for my oldest son that he loves. The owners are patient and expert and I can't recommend them highly enough

This store is one of the reason I fell in love with Florence. The attention to detail, the quality of the product and most importantly, the sincerity of the staff. For that, I’ll always visit every time I’m in Florence and will buy from these guys online whenever I need any leather footwear.

Great place for leather shoes and belts. My wife bought three pair of shoes and three belts here. All seem to be high quality.

Purchased a pair of leather wing tips on our honeymoon in 2016. Have worn these shoes at least 3 times per week for work since then and the shoes have held up flawlessly. I would absolutely buy from here again. Excellent service as well!

Incredible selection of handmade shoes. Shoes were of high quality, dame manufacturing techniques/result as Chanel, Gucci, Hermes leather shoes at least(which are made in italy) but 1/5 the price or less (we do own those other shoes)

What a lovely shop! The owner was so patient and helpful as I tried on a ton of jackets (there were so many beautiful choices). One of the best shopping experiences I have had in Italy. I came away with a beautiful jacket and pair of boots. I will definitely be coming back here.

I purchased a fantastic looking pair of black leather dress shoes here four years ago. They continue to be my most comfortable dress shoes I own, out of about 15 pairs. Still look nearly as good as the day I bought them, still very stylish. I’m back in Florence for a few days, very happy to have found this store again. I will buy more shoes from here. The negative reviews on here are ridiculous.

Very knowledgeable with a wide selection of beautiful shoes! The staff was very attentive and helpful. They were not pushy nor tried to "sell you." It was a very comfortable place to shop. We left with four pair of unique, beautiful, hand crafted Italian shoes. Definitely worth a visit and look!
