What a treat it was to stumble upon this artist's workshop! He was welcoming and invited us to come into his shop while he worked and participate in the creation of the glasses he was working on. It was a great experience, and it brings me joy to drink out of the glasses we purchased from his shop now that we are back home.

Avoid tourist traps nearby the docks!
At La Fornasotta you can watch the traditional glass-making process for free!
They will explain the different steps and the proceso for the store are quite reasonable.

We felt very lucky to have stumbled across this place as our first stop on Murano. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and we even got to participate in the process. I had been wondering how the glassblowers manage to create such intricate floral designs - now I know!

Great guide and nice demonstration, sadly they didn’t have any christmas baubles ready to buy this day, they were really beautiful.

We came across this workshop by walking randomly off the beaten path. Lucky draw !
Insightful explanations and demonstrations, original items which you won't find in the more common shops along the pier.

They were so kind, and masterful in their craft. I wanted to leave a buy a small souvenir and tip them for the demonstration, but they refused to take my money. Must visit.

My husband and I were so happy to have stumbled I to this shop on our day trip to Murano! Unlike many of the shops it is free to enter and watch a demonstration. The master was so entertaining and happy to be sharinh his craft! We learned a lot during our visit.

So wunderschön, herzlichen Dank.
Wir kommen gern wieder!

Magnifique.
