Villa Rasta

Location is perfect if you are looking for a more quiet holiday. The beach out in front can be easily found. You will have the whole beach to yourself. The people in this town are super friendly. The host was amazing. The price was a bit high for the value as the pool and hot tub were not working, and there was no warm water. But the beach and view made up for it.

Portland is always a great place to get away from the city life and relax. Over looking long bay main road and it's beautiful beaches this hide away is guaranteed satisfactory relaxation. The owners are nothing short on great hospitality, great food & awesome tour guides if necessary. Enjoy nature at its best, in the rustic cottages provided. So much to explore in Portland. Why not stay somewhere great for writer's block this place helps, photographers looking for a new ways to boost your portfolio, the scenery is magnificent or if you're just a down to earth nature lover Villa Rasta is for you!

Great view of the sunrise and of the sea. Close to the beach and a great wine and juice bar.
Perfect for yoga and writing. Sounds of the sea put to sleep any upset soul.
Bigga is a great chef and host just tell him What you like to eat.

What a beautiful setting. Long Bay is the biggest kept secret in Jamaica. Oops, now you'll all be coming. You will certainly be made welcome at Villa Rasta. Go on, come chill!!!

Best customer service on the island! Place is comfortable and feels soooo natural. It's also perfect for watching the sunrise even from your room!

10/10 would recommend. Bigga is awesome! The views are amazing and the people of Long Bay are very friendly. I will return.

Had an amazingly prepared dinner. Great views and Anthony was very hospitable. Long Bay is definitely an hidden gem.

Beautiful natural atmosphere....friendly and helpful owner made me feel welcomed...I would definitely live there if I could....ocean view peaceful healing and relaxing...If you want to get away and find yourself....this is the place to go.

Welcoming and helpful hosts in a great location. Bigga is an amazing cook. All of our meals were delicious!

Magnifique endroit calme et entouré de nature avec une vue sur la mer époustouflante. Deux petits chats très câlins étaient là pour nous accompagner tout le long du séjour ! Il est préférable de s’y rendre en voiture mais faisable à pied. Tranquillité assurée !

After a long travel through some touristic places, we found the awesome place, Villa Rasta!
It's a friendly, peacefully and beautifull area at the mountainside, just 5 min by feet away from the Longbay Beach, that is not really touristical and therefore really nice.
In Front of our Bungalow grows Banana Palms und Papayas. The Bungalow had everything we needed. A small Bathroom with shower (warm water), a double Bed with a fan and the importants thing: a Mosquito net;)
The Hosts, Bigga and Anesta, are really great Hosts! There were very friendly and helpful in any kind, we missed nothing! Bigga is also a very good chef!:) He cookes everyday real Jamaican healthy food for us! Also my Girlfriend, shes vegan, was excited!
We felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay!

We really recommend the Villa Rasta for all individual travelers!

Nach einer langen Reise durch einige touristische Städte entlang der Nordküste Jamaikas, fanden wir diesen wundervollen Platz, Villa Rasta!

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schöner, ruhiger und entspannter Ort der am Berghang gebaut wurde. Es ist zu Fuß nur 5min den Hang hinunter bis man den Long Bay Beach erreicht. Ist wirklich kein Problem dahin wenn man etwas gut zu Fuß ist. Der Strand ist wirklich schön und genau wie die ganze Gegend nicht so sehr touristisch überrannt. Das hat uns sehr gefallen!
Vor unserem Bungalow wuchsen Bananpalmen und Papayabäume und die Ausstattung hatte alles Zu bieten was mach braucht. Ein kleines Bad mit Dusche (warm Wasser), ein Doppelbett plus Ventilator... und das wichtigste: ein Mosquitonetz;)
Die Gastgeber, Bigga und Anesta, sind großartige Gastgeber! Sie waren jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und haben sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Wir haben nichts vermisst!
Bigga ist außerdem ein großartiger Koch. Er hat uns jeden tag etwas anderes aus der Jamaikanischen Küche gekocht und uns somit, viele der Jamaikanischen Lebensmittel näher gebracht. Auch meine Freundin, die Veganerin ist, ist voll auf ihre Kosten gekommen:)

Wir fühlten uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben!

Wir können die Villa Rasta wirklich nur jedem individual Reisenden empfehlen!
