Jake's hold a special place in my heart.
The safest place on earth where dreams come thru . The magic begins the moment you arrive in Treasure Beach. I have travelled the world and Jake's leaves an impression each time. This is the best kept secret . New years eve was epic 🥳.

Jakes is for those who search for gems. My second time at Calabash Bay cottage and it was even better than my first. They've upgraded the cottage and well....I probably should keep this review short. Treasures are meant to be stay hidden.

The place is amazing. The room is expensive just for one night to sleep though. A mean I went to a all inclusive hotel and the price was way reasonable to stay for the night. Jake's just to sleep in the bed is almost 300USD which doesn't include food or drink

Great experience! Even though there is no beach, there are enough possibilities to enjoy the sun. Food is tasty but wayyy overpriced. Would recommend to go to more authentic places like Kim's Place. Wayy cheaper and more delicious!

What an amazing family reunion in Treasure beach. My cousin flipped the bill for renting out the Treehouse Villa for a week. As a Jamaican who comes back regular, I've stayed in multiple places across Jamaica. But Treasure beach has knocked Negril from the number one spot for me. Treasure beach reminds me of how Negril used to be back in the early 90's.

The Treehouse Villa was simply amazing. My cousin and I had the chance to hear the story of how it was built from the "Captain" himself. From the architecture to the material that was crafted from Jamaica by Jamaicans, this place is truly one of a kind. The villa is built around polished concrete, from the floors to the sink, bathroom and the kitchen counters. It felt so natural in every way, amazing.

The villa isn't on the beach, but it's only a 5 minute walk. Just across the road. The staff? Smh...Big up Ruth and the entire crew. You want some Jamaica food? They will definitely give you a taste of Jamaica and the hospitality? 10!!!

I really don't want to give too much away about this place. You really have to experience it first hand. You really don't need a car, everything is in walking distance from the villa, restaurants, grocery store, beaches, yoga, park and a great community. Jake's will also make drivers available if you need.

Check this place out!

Can I give this place a bazillion stars? Everything was perfect. The bungalow. The food. The people there. I have been to Jamaica a bunch of times and stayed at some beautiful all inclusive resorts, but this was such a unique experience. The outdoor shower and the chairs on our deck directly over the ocean were true highlights.

The scenery itself was worth the trip, but the food and vibe and super friendly staff made it truly special. Most people there have worked there for years and you get a sense of ownership and community there.

The area is safe. You can walk to stores or restaurants and not fear for your safety. The locals treat you well and you truly feel welcome.

I’m going back. Not soon enough.

Wonderful spot right on the water. Too rough to swim there but a beach about a minutes walk away was great. Service is beyond expectations. They assisted with scooter rental, cooking class, and even transportation to next hotel. Jack Spratts has fantastic jerk chicken and the ladies who work the stand are extremely friendly and happy! Loved the whole week we stayed there. Easy walkability to town's stores and other restaurants. I'd go back for sure!

If you are ever in Treasure Beach and need a place to relax take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the perfect place. Beautiful sea front lodgings met by friendly heart warming staffs not to mention food prepared with love and passion. Some lodgings have both front and back verandas just right for any occasion and this is complimented with fully A/C rooms

Pelicans Villa at Jakes Hotel was incredible!! Not only was the villa beautiful, but Jakes Hotel ensured we were taken care of. Jennifer the chef cooked us beautiful and delicious meals everyday, while Terry and Adrian made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. We had dinner and massages at Jakes hotel, both were fabulous and the hotel was beautiful. Jack Sprat next to jakes was also a really great spot to eat, but the jerk wings were INCREDIBLE.

Most relaxing hotel you'll ever get the chance to visit.

Very low-key, quiet and calming. Excellent bar service with strong well mixed drinks. Food is delicious with excellent vegetarian-friendly choices.

Check-in is always seamless and pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Everyone should do Jakes at least once in their lifetime. The bucolic atmosphere and the people makes this a must do. Jamaicas south coast is a hidden gem.

Our accommodations were across road, kinda over flow rooms I'm assuming. Not as nice or vibe as you get inside the main grounds. But overall clean and fairly new . .

The property is absolutely beautiful. It is a wonderful place away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was amazing to just unwind, watch the sunset, listen to the waves hit the shore, we had a thunderstorm and that was fabulous!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday weekend there and would definitely recommend it to all!!

I love this place! My family went to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday, the team at treasure beach went above and beyond to accommodate us ALL! The staff is amazing, the cornmeal porridge was soooooo good! Adrian was such a phenomenal concierge! We had some crazy requests and he did all that he could to acknowledge them! I highly recommend this resort!

We came to Jakes for breakfast. I enjoyed my French toast and OJ. Others had a variety of things from the menu and it was all good.

This place is great. You are not in the middle of a tourist town and this is not an "All Inclusive, let's drink all day in the pool to the sound of blaring reggae" resort. It is a more "laid-back, let's use the resort as a base to go out and explore" kind of place.

Many cabins/rooms overlook the ocean and have small sitting areas in front, to watch the sun going down each day.

Both restaurants offer a good variety of foods and price points. And Dougie's Bar has an excellent selection of cocktails (and the full selection of beers - Red Stripe, Dragon Stout, Heineken and Guinness).

A great place to visit and would recommend Jakes and Treasure Beach to anyone wishing to see a slower-paced Jamaica.

Jake's is my favorite hotel in Jamaica hands down. So, when my last visit 2 years ago was disappointing, it was difficult to revisit. But, I truly missed its charm and so I visited with friends for a few days and it was amazing. We stayed at Mussels which was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The kitchen was renovated with modern touches and the verandah opens up to spectacular views of the ocean. At night we slept to the sounds of the waves crashing up to the rocks.

The staff was attentive and catered to our every need with great detail and hospitality. Although we had a few hiccups, every concern was addressed by the general manager promptly. She is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to ensure guests are taken care of. She is an absolute asset.

We ate meals at Jack Sprat, and every meal was delicious and tasty. My go to is always the fried chicken, although it is the seafood dishes and pizza that have put this island restaurant on the map. If you visit, you must try the coconut cream pie, baked fresh on premises with fresh local coconut.

I would recommend the addition of a cutting board and service ware in the kitchen, for those guests who may wish to utilize the kitchen. Buy otherwise my stay was perfect. I cannot wait to visit again.

Thank you to the staff for the warm hospitality.

Cute, chic and eclectic. Right on the beach with so many little nooks and crannies for relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar on property. Make sure you have an extra day or two just to lounge. It’ll take your stress away!

We stayed at Treasure Cottage, a short walk from the main area. We were lucky; the weather was perfect! The house manager and cook were very professional; they did an excellent job with preparing and serving meals and cleaning up afterwards . I loved the sound of the sea, the privacy, and the outdoor showers. If there was an area of disappointment it was the grounds of the cottage. The grounds were not well kept up, and frankly, they could be beautiful if the company would put a little thought, planning, and effort into it.
