Hakuba Himekawa Onsen (Hot Spring)

Super convenient location at the ski resort. This is perfect after a day of skiing to relax in the onsen and sauna. Everything was very clean and a towel rental was available.

ロッカー室のすぐ隣に温泉室があるというのはすごく便利だと思います、シャンプ、リンス、ボディソープ設置、狭めのお風呂でした、温泉は水風呂から流れてくる水で温度調整しているので激熱ではありませんがのぼせないのでちょうどよいと思います、湯あたりもなかったです。サウナ室もあり、お値段も安いとおもいます。
空いていました、浴場も着替室も綺麗でした。

登山帰りに利用させてもらったが、エスカルプラザ内にありとても便利な場所だと思う。
中は広く清潔なので機会があれば何度でも利用したい。

Great onsen at the foot of Goryu ski resort. It is very spacious, in the resting area, change rooms and the bathing area.
There are 2 baths to choose from (hot and cold) and 1 sauna, which was very hot, but still bearable for 7 minutes for myself.
Price is very reasonable. It would be a great place to visit after a day of skiing or snowboarding.
The decor is very simple (just tiled baths) but it's more comfortable to sit on than the natural rocks in other onsens in my opinion.
Only small lockers are available so if you have a large bag like I did, you may just have to leave it on the open shelves (which was fine for me).
Do pay this onsen a visit if you're at Hakuba Goryu!

The description says that the hot spring quality is weakly alkaline, but it smelled like a swamp, but it didn't really feel like a hot spring. However, after snowboarding, you can soak in the bathtub and take a cold bath. Good thing it wasn't too crowded right before the end of the lift. I want to use it again.

Has all your needed facilities. Very useful that it's right next to the locker rooms and inside the escal plaza. Shoe racks, imp stuff storing lockers, big changing area and modern mirror basins. The main area has washing up stools woth soap/shampoo, shower, the onsen & a sauna area.

The onsen water is not that hot. That would be the main complaint i guess. The sauna and cold water dip is necessary in the end.

Very decent facilities for the price. Clean and convenient.

Great onsen, but was half closed (due to COVID-19?) When we visited. A bit expensive too compare to onsens (800yen) but was great place to chill after ski
