Needed a haircut! I checked that the majority of the reviews here were good and other websites that states the service as foreigner friendly. It did not disappoint!

Though we communicated using Google translate and pictures, the hairdresser listened and understood what I wanted - lob hair length with curtain bangs.

Enthusiastic personality, quality service and worth it price point. Would recommend!

Definitely the best hair cut I had so far! You have transformed my look and style and I am absolutely loving it now and all over the moon with my new hair cut. This is the first time I had hair cut in Japan and I can't fault it at all and is the best decision I have made. Mr genius hairdresser also showed me how to style my hair with curler with oil.

Highly recommended and I will bring my sister in next time for my visit. See you again!!!

I visited Osaka for sightseeing and decided to get my haircut after inspired by Glico’s short hair. The hair dresser was very friendly, professional, and was flexible to my specific requests. I highly recommend this place when you visit Osaka.

I had a wonderful time getting my haircut here. The owner and female staff are very friendly and experts on the services they provide. Even with a language barrier, google translate was very handy and easy. The owner suggested a hairstyle that suited my round face and I love it so much! This is the best haircut I’ve ever had. In addition, the female staff that washed and blow dryed my hair was awesome. We had a nice conversation via our translator apps. She also gave me a wonderful head massage and cleaned up my eyebrows. She shaped it so well, the best eyebrows I’ve ever had! I was so impressed by this salon. The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent. I learned a lot from both staff on how to maintain my hair and eyebrows. I highly suggested making a reservation via google or his instagram message. I was also served tea which was delicious and soothing.

Outstanding job with my first bleach and dye. There was a language barrier, but it was nothing ✨the internet✨ couldn’t fix. Great guy, very kind and considerate. I will be returning eventually to Osaka just for the services!

What a wonderful experience Ayahito offered. I found him in Google with a lot of good reviews so I decided to have my hair colored and cut during my visit to Osaka. He is above and beyond my expectations. He takes his time to talk to me with Google translate and did a good job in styling and coloring my hair. He works very hard and is extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends in US when they visit Osaka.

Wonderful experience and I love my haircut.
I got my hair layered and my curtain bangs. My hair not only felt lighter but alot healthier from the products they used. They also styled my hair at the end and it looked lovely with the blow out.

The staff were very friendly, professional and skilled in their work. We visited from Canada and although there was a language barrier, they were very accommodating and supportive.

My visit to Gold Hair Salon was def a highlight of my Osaka visit. Creative studio, extremely professional, kind and attentive. Shampoo was amazing felt like a scalp massage. He asked right questions and gave me a cut that worked well for me. I wish I was there longer to get more services, but will visit again next time I am in Osaka!

Ahayito san is very dedicated to giving the best experience! The salon is private with relaxing atmosphere. I came in for a hime-cut and only trimming the lengths, but he made it a full relaxing treatment with shampoo massage and hair care. He gives so much extra care for my hair, and my hair feels so soft and fresh now! He takes his time and does everything with care. Amazing hairdresser! Will come back if I am ever in Osaka again :)

Was nervous with the language barrier I was going to walk out looking like a disaster. Thank goodness for google translate and I had some pictures of style and colour ~ I loved the end results. He was very friendly and detailed with my hair cut. He even accommodated and gave my daughter a quick hair treatment without an appointment even though it was well after his closing time.
