GRANBELL HOTEL OSAKA

We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring Osaka. The room had a modern design, specially the bathroom. They have a complimentary amenities bar at the reception. The breakfast is in the restaurant in the first floor with a set menu and a buffet of drinks and a few other things (limited offer).

Nice vibe, great location. Room is perfectly fit for 2 people.
Its aesthetically pleasing. And they have good choice of songs at the lobby 🥰

Staying here for 2 night, it is just 18 minutes walking distance away from the busy Namba area.
The room is small but so do most of the JP hotels.

Pro - clean, quiet area, friendly staff, delicious coffee in the lobby, good value, comfortable bed, strong AC, public bath

Cons - small room, no bath in the room only shower

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews! My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights (Oct 2023) and we've had the most pleasant experience with the front of house staff as well as our room and facilities. Firstly, the staff spoke English which was a big help. Secondly, I had a frustrating experience where a person had left their laundry in the washing machine when it was done for over an hour. I spoke to the girl at the front desk and she rectified it for me straight away! The hotel is also just far enough from the craziness of Dotonbori, so you can walk to Dotonbori but it is still nice and quiet with a few really good restaurants around. The people that complained that this place is too small, probably haven't been to hotels that are even smaller in Shinjuku or Hiroshima. Don't get me wrong, of course, the rooms are small when compared to US or AU sizes. This is Japan. For the price, I would come back here over and over again. Oh, and if you're a climber, Bouldering Gym Roca is just a block and a half away 😉.

Around 10mins walk from Hommanchi station. Walkable distance to shinsaibashi area.
Over all great experience staying at this hotel.

Room was basic needs met, staff was nice, and room was clean and ready.

Very late/early check in due to flights delayed, arriving at the hotel around 1am service was great and checked in with no problem.
We stayed in a double room, it was small but thats to be expected any where in japan, we kept our suit cases under the bed for more space, the room was modern and has a smartish tv (able to connect to your streaming services).
The location is perfect located in between multiple train stations and only a short walk away from shopping districts and the dontonbori river/namba food areas.
We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are small but clean. The hotel has washing machines and clean ofuru.

Very nice onsen with good amenities.
Room was good, and for once we actually managed to cast video from our phones to the TV.

It is located 3 streets away from the shopping street, and very close to two major subway stations

I really enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean, everything looked quite new, and I got a good view too. It was a really really good price when I booked. The bathhouse is pretty standard and it wasn't frequented much so I was usually the only one. It also seems to be tattoo-friendly (or it's not enforced)

Wifi was strong enough. Breakfast is kind of pricey and I went to Udon Kyutaro instead (very good!) Free coffee was not bad. They try to automate the front desk, they seem understaffed.

It is a little confusing to find the right subway exit and you might struggle with luggage. There are elevator/escalator by APA hotel or St Regis hotel.

Tons of restaurants & konbini nearby, and walkable to Shinsaibashi. 10/10 would definitely book again.

Accessibility is good to the nearby shopping places and shrines and parks

One of the most facileted and good environment hotel i ever seen in my life. Very friendly environment and good hospitality. All workers and people are very friendly and helpfull. I suggest everyone to visit one time in this hotel.
Rooms are very comfortable.
There is bar in 20 floor which you can see very good view. You can enjoy it

Clean, cosy, modern, well appointed rooms. Small but in keeping with other hotels in the region. Excellent service. Great amenities and spa area

The hotel is located near Honmachi Station, depending if you chose the right exit it’s 5-10 minutes walk from the station. It’s very close to Midosuji street, which is perfect in this period of the year to see the illumination ✨

I stayed in the double room located on 18th floor. The room is compact, but it’s equipped with a fridge, two bottles of water, kettle and tea set. There are also lots of amenities in the room👏

Suitcases can be stored under the bed
to save space.

The room has a beautiful view and
the design is fashionable and simple! I really like it 😊

There is also a restaurant in the 1st floor
so I had dinner there. I tried the Japanese Wagyu meat dinner course which was delicious 😋

I booked a double bed room was very good 🥰

the best thing is they have a spa and bar also at the 19floor. Sooo i enjoyed 😊 front desk staff are soo kind😍
