W Osaka

I am at a loss for words. The hotel is spectacular. It is both modern, chic, and fun. All of the furnishings are up-to-date and the amenities are to die for, along with the service from the staff. Even their bed and pillows were perfect, and I slept like a baby. Also, after dropping our bags off the first day and leaving, we had a pleasant surprise to see it was cleaned when we returned a few hours later. To top it off, we had a corner room and the views were stunning. I cannot recommend the hotel more.

I can't image staying elsewhere in Osaka. The hotel makes you feel the energy of the city and does a great job streamlining check-in and check-out (it honestly feels like Vegas). We stayed one night with points, and while we didn't get any specific Bonvoy status-related amenities or upgrades, we were content with our stay. Breakfast was well worth the cost, and the entire hotel is beautiful. When we return to Osaka we will not hesitate to stay here again, to pay full price (instead of points), and to book spa treatments.

A stunning property in the heart of Osaka's shopping district and food markets. The W Osaka is a cut above other W hotels I have stayed, both in amenities and personalized service.

Staff made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. They went above and beyond with making bookings for us and ensure we had what we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Property is immaculately clean and well maintain. We stayed in a Marvelous suite and our kids in Wonderful suite, one of our favorite stays during our trip through Japan.

Bonvoy Elite members are well recognized and breakfast was included. Their pastries were a standout in an already amazing selection of Japanese and Western breakfast options.

Will definitely stay here again when visiting Osaka.

Great hotel that offers all of what you'd expect for a W property. We were upgraded to a corner suite that had huge floor to ceiling windows around the room that offered great views of the city. Rooms are modern, spacious (even offering a separate closet room - a rarity in Japan), and high-tech. Property is walking distance (10 mins) to the trains and food quality is high. Shout out to Ronaldo and Harrison at the breakfast restaurant for their excellent service and hospitality. Thank you! Will definitely return for any future trips to Osaka.

Excellent location close to everything. Even got a few restaurants next to the hotel that opens late. The service was great and the amenities were very sufficient. They have a very nice fitness room that has all the machines I needed and a heated indoor pool. The buffet breakfast has plenty of western, Japanese, and healthy choices. I’d highly recommend this hotel when staying in Osaka

W Osaka like there counterparts form a very comfortable and well rounded experience for there guests!

They have some of the best customer service that I’ve personally experienced. Attention to detail in the rooms is a very big part of what makes the stay so enjoyable, they are equipped with everything you might need for a stay of any length. Throughout the stay if you ever need anything they have a calling service where they will try to help you as much as they can, which we all found very helpful.

Fun hotel very creatively decorated and well worth its five star rating. Service impeccable and the location is absolutely perfect. The view from the room was an dded bonus.

Very beautiful hotel, we enjoyed our large suite on the 23rd floor with beautiful sunset view. Staff was welcoming and accommodating with our 2 year-old. Only thing they have to improve is the breakfast situation - people are waiting in line to be seated which I've never experienced in a hotel. The food was otherwise delicious.

This was my favorite hotel during my 2-week trip in Japan with my SO. I booked via AMEX’s hotel collection which included a free upgrade when available, breakfast for 2, and $100 voucher to use on food and drinks. We received the free upgrade and they even converted the $100USD voucher to its most current conversion rate of 14,474 yen. We received complimentary drinks at check-in and the overall service was great! The staff was attentive and even left us snacks and a personalized note to welcome us. The room was very modern and had gorgeous views of the city. They had a 24/7 ‘for whatever’ service line and a late night munchies menu. My only complaint is the room service portions were small for its price, but the food was still delicious. Their breakfast buffet was the highlight of my stay! They had so many options, ranging from Japanese, Western, and healthy alternatives. They had a good selection of fruit yogurt cups, pudding, and baked goods. There were green smoothie shots and even fresh ramen. I would recommend W Osaka over Intercontinental in Umeda as it is also listed on AMEX’s hotel collection and we enjoyed our stay here much better. I am planning another trip to Japan next year and this hotel is definitely staying on my must-visit list!

I have never seen a bedroom in a hotel kept so clean and the standard of cleanliness kept to the same standard
Breakfast is absolutely exceptional, be sure to try the cheese muffins.

I have long heard about W Osaka ahead of its opening as it was designed by famous architect Tadao Ando. This makes the stay a must for architecture lover. The bell service is lacking but I assume that's cause I did not arrive by vehicle? The concierge service is highly appreciated, as I was greeted with their service a week ahead my trip. They offered great restaurant suggestion and help me made reservations.
The hotel was not as large as I expected, occupying a small area next to one of the busiest food district in Osaka, offering great distance to lots of good restaurants. Compared to another Marriott property nearby, the St. Regis Osaka, the room of W Osaka is definitely on the smaller and shorter side. The height of the room is a bit constrained which did impact my first impression.
The breakfast during weekends will be in buffet style. Quality and variety definitely match the expectation, while more japanese local food would be preferred. Their pastry items are recommended.

Design is nice and rooms are big!

Breakfast is very nice - have porridge and fish.

The only thing to add - would be great to have executive lounge

And one more thing - some motorcycle drivers drive around hotel LITERALLY EVERY NIGHT - I guess it’s their favorite spot to spend time together. And windows not good enough for soundproof. So have to use earplugs every night.

I always had a pleasant stay at any W hotel. W Osaka continues that experience. From entering the spectacular decor to every encounter from the team members. A++++

The room is what you would expect. Clean, plenty of ammenties, and worth the price considering where youre staying at. I will definitely visit W Osaka again the next time I'm in Osaka.

I had the corner room and the view is spectacular and the room is spacious. The staff are nice and very helpful. The indoor swimming pool and spa facility is really cool.

Amazing experience at the W Osaka! The hotel has a modern and slick design that is very impressive from the first step in. All of the staff were very friendly and they held my bags for me to explore Osaka as I came a few hours early. Check in process was easy and the card keys were made of wood so that was unique! Beds were comfortable and the view from the room was amazing especially at night. Room was very clean and housekeeping was the best. I came back to a clean and organized room everyday which made relaxing very easy.

Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet style with French and Japanese foods. They had a wide variety of fresh juice and smoothies and well as coffees upon request. Everything I had here was pretty good and of high quality. I recommend trying the breakfast here at least once.

Location was also good here as there are multiple entrances to the station a few minutes walk. Also the shopping street Shinsaibashisuji was around a 10-15 minute walk and had a lot of stores to visit as well as a department store and Pokemon Center. Dotonburi is also just a few minutes after Shinsaibashisuji.

Overall I had a very enjoyable stay thanks to the incredible staff and service here. And this was by far the best hotel I stayed in during my trip. Will definitely come again the next time I am in Osaka.

I recently stayed at the W Osaka using my Marriott points and was impressed with its value. The hotel boasts sophisticated facilities and appeals, particularly to the younger generation. A superb choice for those looking to utilise their points programme.

The rooms were brand new and very cool - spot on for W design. The staff were also very helpful and kind. The location was very close to Dontonbori and some great shopping as well as the key train/subway stations, and an affordable cab ride away from most neighborhoods and sights.
