Hotel Universal Port

Amazing location and great rooms! We had the minion room albeit there being four of us so the adults were on a futon on the floor and the kids were on the beds 🤣. About a three minute walk to the park and very near multiple food options

Great for those who want to go in and out of USJ
Bath and toilets are separated, so it can be considered spacious, in consideration of other hotel toilets.
The room is big enough, but for 3 big luggage, it seems tight.

The room has great sea and sunrise view.

We stay at WakuWaku room for 4 nights, view is excellent, room is very family friendly, you can use microwave in the room, the room is very comfortable, clean and kids style, there have amazing projector whcih you can watch movie or videos with kids, a nuna leaf grow (baby swing) and a rocking horse. You can find a vending machine to get some water and drink easily, and receptionists are very helpful and friendly, we had a very wonderful time in the Hotel Universal Port, it's highly recommended!!

This was the first hotel I stayed upon arrival before 2 others and this was the best. Particularly love their bathtub, good depth and width with details for arm rest and back support, probably the most comfortable one I ever tried. The room was huge with great port view. Morning sunrise was so instagramable. Not to mention the short stroll to USJ and city malls. So close but yet a good distance for quietness and calm after a long exciting day in the park. Breakfast variety was good and you know lots of effort was placed into controlling food wastage. Will stay here again when I return.

I loved the minion theme everywhere! The room was spacious and I enjoyed the bath as well. I’d love to stay here again!

room is clean, location is very good if you plan to go universal studio japan. Although not much choice for the breakfast buffet, the taste is good.

We wanted a place to crash after a big day at Universal Studios Japan. The Hotel Universal Port exceeded expectations. Our only regret was not staying there the night before as well. Our room was well sized and had good amenities. Perfect for a family of 4. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and let us check our bags at 0730 on the day. We had a park side view. Kids loved watching the roller coaster still going as the sun went down.

The hotel is located right next to Universal Studios Japan, and across the Aji river is the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. As soon as you enter the hotel, you can tell it is minion themed. They have minion statues and decorations everywhere. There is even a bench with a minion so you can take photos. Downstairs they have a cafe and a shop where you can buy food, stationary, and souvenirs. Unfortunately, they do not offer complimentary breakfast.

The line for check in was long and we had to wait around 30 minutes. Once we got to the front, the check in process was easy and only took around 5 minutes. It was also helpful that the staff spoke English!

The room was large and looked nice. We also had a decent view of Universal Studios. We could see all of the people line up in the morning! The bathroom also had a big bathtub.

Check out was quick and easy. They also offer a luggage transportation service so we could send our bags to our next hotel.

Overall a great experience! I wish it were a bit cheaper, but I don't think it is possible with its incredible location.

Dropped off our bags before checkin and went to universal.

They have a massage salon open 5pm-1am. It is amazing. After a long day of walking around universal. I got a foot massage. My only criticism is that they need more staff. As an appt wasn't available till 10:45pm. But that staff did there best to fit me in and were absolutely amazing.

Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family back in Australia.

We had a very wonderful stay here. It is only a few minutes walk from USJ and our room has a good view of the park. The staff was very polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I wish I had 2 stomachs.😆 We didn’t request to make up the room but the staff still did it. 100% recommendations!

Amazing!!! Great view, Universal Studios is seen from our room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is very good for family guests, kids like the minions in the lobby and tv shows. Food is great. Universal studios is very close and only a 4 minute walk. Price is more than worth it. We have an amazing stay.

I recently had an unforgettable stay at a hotel in Japan. The hospitality was outstanding, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient. This hotel was excellent for a trip to USJ. The lobby is gorgeous; it really got the kids excited for Universal Studios. The price was very reasonable for a room that had four decent sized beds, especially if you can book a good amount in advance. The room was clean and the bath amenities were great. They have a fairly late checkout time, but also had lockers near the lobby where you can store your luggage while you enjoy the amusement park.

Staff were friendly and helpful! They also elevated the sense of excitement by chatting with the kids about their favorite rides, etc. we were extremely satisfied with our experience at this hotel.

2nd time, i stayed at this hotel, and i love it. The staff were helpful and spoke english with me. They made me feel comfortable. We stayed on the Aqua floor, it was quiet and clean. The room was perfect for the time we spent in it. The buffet dinner was very delicious and the staff was very courteous.

Great hotel! Very nice lobby with minions decor. Also very convenient as it is near universal studio japan and there are many restaurants available along the way. Also, the breakfast is great!

This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at and the rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The hotel looks great, very Minion themed.
It is a short walk to Universal, JR train station and City Walk.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you have family. We will be staying here again.

Nice service and accommodation. The buffet restaurant have good variety of yummy food and service were so good. Reception staff were efficient and nice too. Room conditions were great. We can see UsJ through our window. We had absolutely nice stays there. Thanks

This was our successful baby moon. Our 2nd stay in this hotel. 1st stay was in February 2018 and then the 2nd one was in February 2023.
We stayed here for 1 night and then I got pregnant(Our 2023 goal). The location is accessible, near the train station, and restaurants, and within walking distance from Universal Studio Japan. Our view was so perfect because we can see the USJ from our window. The room was spacious and clean. The amenities were perfect. I would like to stay here again after I give birth to our first child.
