Second coco curry on my japan trip!!
This time i ordered vegetable based curry with spinach add on and less rice (150 gr)
i personally liked the vegetable curry better than the meat based one because it's lighter and sweeter.

There are a lot of menu that is unavailable here which is quite dissapointing but overall i had a great dinner!!

i also ordered lassi from the drink set and it was delicious, it's like yoghurt blended milk, the perfect drink for a mild spicy curry! :9

I loved this curry! Disclaimer!! Very spicy!! It was our first time here and they had a menu explaining everything in english. However, I wish there was a better explanation about spiciness levels. At other curry spots I order the spiciest level and it’s still not very spicy. Here a level 5 out of 20 had my nose runny. It was very worth it though. If you love spicy curry this is your spot!!

It seemed only fitting my last dinner in Japan be at my favourite curry chain. The new tablet ordering system is very fancy and my curry was delicious. As was my iced coffee. Yum yum.

You can get a vegan curry here! Very good curry with different spice levels. They will serve the food very fast. Perfect for a quick dinner.

It's a classic spot to eat. It's not any more outstanding than any other Coco's, but I still love eating here. The value of what you get vs what you pay is fantastic.

Lovely curry restaurant in the heart of Namba. The food tasted great. It is very similar to other stores from other countries.

The food is ordered via tablet. Change your language if your Japanese is not so fluent.

An awesome experience as always. Coco Ichibanya always delivers consistently good curry! Served pipping hot with freshly prepared ingredients for an enjoyable and Bench mark setting dining experience! Service was efficient and fuss free and the use of the ordering tablets with multiple languages available eased our anxiety of not being proficient in Japanese!

Friendly staff and delicious curry. Located right in the heart of Den Den town, great for a quick bite after all the toys and anime shopping.

Cheap tasty curry. Friendly staff and atmosphere. You can order from a screen at your seat. Vegetarian and vegan curries available. Small shop but counter seats have dividers so it’s more private. Small selection of manga to read as well. I usually order a basic curry with extra rice. I’m always so full for less than 1000yen.

We always enjoy Coco Ichiban and this location is no different. Slightly larger location with larger tables for families/groups or single table booths. Overall great, probably one of the nicer places to eat in the area.

Cheap and good curry. The service is always fast and has usually been the same spice level between each one I've been to. They do half portions so look for that too because it's a lot of food. Also add cheese if you've never had it before!

Probably my most eaten food in Japan every time I visit. If I'm struggling to find something for dinner, I know there's a CoCo's somewhere nearby. Opting for a good vegan curry is super easy, but if you're a meat eater there's heaps of options.

Delicious! Huge portions for your money, and you can add as much meat or veggies as you like for a few yen extra! Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. They have popular manga on the bookshelf for you to peruse as you wait for your food. They also have an English menu in case you can't read Japanese, and multiple dishes including chicken, pork, beef, fish, seafood, and shrimp. Veggies include potatoes, beans, carrots, onion, and spinach. I'm definitely coming back here, they have a lot of great items for those eating on a budget, or you can splurge and go a little crazy. You can choose how spicy you want the food to be, from less spicy (0) or normal (1) to extreme (11 I believe). While this is a chain, it certainly feels like a little mom and pop restaurant. Popular side dishes include rice and French fries. I fully recommend this place!!

The curry is really delicious. A lot of options available. They have vegetarian curries also. They offer spiciness levels from 1 to 10 with 10 being really really spicy and delicious so be sure to order the spiciness level you like when ordering.

Honestly, I didn't expect anything good, we just went there because we couldn't find something else and it was raining. But I was surprised, it was very delicious and cheap. Would come again anytime I'm in Osaka!
