Joshin Super Kids Land HQ

Huge 5 level store with a very comprehensive range of car model (plastic and die-cast), R/C cars, model trains, planes, military etc. one floor dedicated to Tamiya.

I recently paid a visit to the renowned Joshin Super Kids Land HQ, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of the city, this expansive store stands as a haven for scale and character model enthusiasts.

Walking into Joshin Super Kids Land HQ felt like stepping into a wonderland. The sheer size of the store is awe-inspiring, with multiple floors dedicated to housing an extensive array of figurines. Whether you're a collector or simply appreciate the artistry of these models, this place is an absolute dream come true.

The first thing that struck me was the incredible variety and selection. Every corner of the store seemed to house a different world of models, from anime characters to superheroes and everything in between. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of each figurine was undeniably impressive, making it hard to resist temptation.

Osaka Gunpla selections are not as good as Tokyo, however if you’re in Osaka why not drop by this super kids land joshin, they have a mini tamashi nations section as well as Gunpla section, not much but worth dropping by

Massive collection of model kits and hobby tools. If you are a Gundam fan, they have just about every kit available. I’m addition, they offer a large selection of add-on kits, not limited to just Gundam. All the kits are on display so if you are just browsing around, you can appreciate the work and dedication.

Came here in September 2023. This is absolute heaven for diecast lovers and IMO is better then TamTam in Tokyo! I could have spent hours here looking through the very well organised and clean set up. All the brands one could want like HW, MiniGT, Inno64, Ignition Model, Tarmac Works, One Model, AutoArt etc are there... in 1/64, 1/43 and 1/18 scales of course. Service was super friendly to unlock cabinets and pay - and I was lucky enough to get an Aged Day discount (public holiday) on top of Tax Free! Highly recommend this venue if you're even remotely interested in cars!

A 5-story store with a wide variety of toys such as model cars, trains, planes, as well as anime goods. One of the most unique experiences in Japan and Osaka. A bit of a walk away from the main Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori area, but recommended if you want to see interesting stuff.

Out of all the model shops I visited in Japan, Joshin probably had the largest range of car models. Make sure you go up to the Tamiya level to find their kits there. Also have heaps of aftermarket decals and photo-etch sets to sift through.

This is somewhat of a plamo heaven in Osaka!! Something like 6 floors worth of hobby stuff! Level 1 are just toys and some collectibles, level 2 are plastic models, level 3 are trains, level 4 is all Tamiya, then there is a level of just racing cars and another one for airport guns, ok - there is so much I might have got my floors mixed up! There are items on sale on each floor and if those items fit what u are looking for, they are really cheap and worth buying!!!

So many figurines but even better, on the top floor there are train models!!!

They have a beautiful collection of manga-anime figures.

Diecast heaven with good price

First floor mostly kids toys, go up and it’s a heaven for train collectors plastic toys hobbies etc. walking around the floors was fun and interesting, cam across realistic plastic gun models, bought train models and saw a competitive racing car on tracks! Located end den den town towards Shinsekai

A must to visit by hobbyists/collectors... Each floor caters to different themes from airplanes, cars, guns, to trains, Gundam, Tamiya and figurines...

Great place to buy model cars. They have everything from 1/64 to 1/18. RC cars, trains, Gundam. A definite collectors paradise 😍. Wish I could've bought more.

Besides gundams and figurines, one floor is packed with train related stuff, it's also tax free if you show your passport

Partner loved this. Spent hours in this shop. There are so many levels with different types of models/hobbies. He bought some bits from Tamiya world as well as a subaru model car which was reasonably priced and excellent quality.

If you like anime models like robot gundam, tamiya cars and those handy work kind of model build cars trains tank etc come here and get it. We only have experience with tamiya and its cheaper here than Singapore. We also went to the tamiya flagship shop at Tokyo in 2019 and its cheaper here compared to Tokyo.

Impressive store for modelling (2nd world war stuff), dioramas, etcet !

Must visit it if you are model , toys fan.

Wish I could buy all the Gunpla :)
