thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! do note you have to pay for ANY fish you catch, regardless of price point, so make sure you know what fish you are catching. there is a small pond for the 980¥ horse mackerels which is what we caught, glad there was an economical option for us who just wanted a fishing experience! the grilled squid came raw and we had to grill it ourselves with the mini grill on the table but that was a fun experience, the mandatory sides (429¥ if i’m not wrong) were not great (there was a heart dish!) but i get why it’s there to prevent people from simply coming in to view without paying. overall would recommend to anyone looking for a cool experience, it doesn’t need to be very expensive if you don’t over order!

A gd place for seafood, instagramable photography, and fun fishing experiences. Price a bit on the high side, but still acceptable for the experiences. There is an enterance fee about ¥600\pax. All prices indicated clearly in the menu and tag near the fish area. Only need to take note when u fish, dont get the wrong fish, once u caught consider sold. So choose the spot with juz the fish u prefer. Some fish swimming together u might get the wrong fish. But u can spot with juz certain fish. Food taste ok only, but most of the time was spent on photography n fishing 🤭

The rest especially medium fat tuna and normal tuna sashimi 😍
Crab miso gratin definitely a must try. But watch out you might over spend with soo much of choices 🫣
Oh for those more adventurous you can try horse meat sashimi 😵‍💫

It wasn’t really amazing but I had a great time catching a big whole fish lol - ignore the staff (who don’t really speak English) who say to use the yellow rod. Skip that, it’s trash. Ask for a blue one and get some cool fishies.

I did the sashimi with a sea bream and it was sort of terrible but fun nonetheless.

Pretty awesome place to eat some delectable pieces of meat and seafood. You can even fish for your own grub. Atmosphere is super lively and they bring out food fairly quickly.

Loved this place so much the first time we visited that I made my hubby take me a second time, a few days later during our week long stay in Osaka! Best to know a little Japanese when coming here, but with google translate you will be able to manage and figure things out. The restaurant look, atmosphere, music, freshly cooked fish, and the thrill of catching your own make this place a MUST VISIT. Really good place to take children too! Definitely recommended.

A one of a kind izakaya. In short it allow customers to enjoy fishing during dinning. You fish what you eat. The entire venue setup as a giant fish boat and surrounding waters are full of fishes (I also see a giant crab). Consumers are welcome to fish around and once you catch a fish, that's your to eat. You can choose various types of cooking and max 2 different cooking per fish. It's definitely a fun experience! Do ask the waiter for fresh bait and be patient. Also make sure you have a net nearby as it can come in handy.

The staff was nice and attentive. Helped us catch our fish. They were on their phone A LOT but never has an issue calling them over or them coming over.

The only issue I had was they took about an hour to grill our fish.

In regards to the "fees", they charge you based on your fish, how you want it grilled/seasoning. They charge you PER PERSON for the seating chart. It's all written there. Nothings hidden.

It was a fun place !!! I would go back !! The fish are smart they took my bait them spit it out. But they are not hard to scoop if you want fresh sashimi lots of variety here too. It’s a cool concept.

It's really expensive for a student like me. But bring your date here and you'll be sure to impress her. You can catch your own fish in their enclosure and get them to cook it however you like.

Note, a tip for catching this flounder is to forget about them biting the hook. Just use the tri hook and let the hook sink to the bottom, next to your target. They should all be lying on the bottom. Once you have positioned the hook next to the bottom of the mouth/fin area, give a quick and decisive tug, driving the hook into the fish. I got the fish on my second try with 0 experience so this should be quite a fool proof method!

Enjoying your freshly caught fish on a boat structure within the restraint is sure to provide an impressionable memory!

It’s quite fun and kids love it, albeit a bit expensive but overall great experience. More bails would be great.

It is crazy I love this place. You can go and fish for your own food. Smoking area is allowed but I don't smoke. Service is so so..
