DUO Dental Clinic

I'm scared of dentists in general and it was my first visit after a while. I really liked the staff who speaks in English fluently and explains everything you need to have for your treatment. There is a young dentist with the glasses who is very good in his job. I did not have any pain at all, he was polite in every single action and I am not scared of him as a dentist anymore. We come here as a whole family for teeth treatment. We advice this dental clinic.

I was so shocked by how kind and friendly all the staff were. They explain everything in detail to you so you know exactly what's going to happen. They are very kind and made me feel so comfortable. You can tell that they are all highly skilled and have a lot of experience also !

It is especially a great spot if you are a foreigner and need to have the comfort of speaking in English for a dental appointment. They have perfect English!

They are always on time with the appointments and they are so quick at the various procedures I was always shocked that we would finish so quickly! Making appointments is super easy and they are so helpful and flexible with dates and times. Also it is crazy cheap!

I had a fantastic experience at Duo Dental Clinic in Osaka. As someone who usually avoids the dentist, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care I received here. I woke up one morning with a severe tooth ache. They booked me in and removed my crown, patched the fracture in the root of my tooth. I had X-rays and treatment and was given a digital copy for my dentist back home. The staff spoke English well enough to tell me what was happening and why. The treatment was expertly done and very reasonably priced. I recommend them very highly! 😊

It’s honestly wild to me how good this clinic is. I’ve had almost nothing but poor experiences with medical practitioners in Japan since I moved here 8 years ago but DUO proved to be very different from the norm.

I just finished having my second wisdom tooth removed here, while my first was removed by them two years ago. Both times it has been painless, comfortable, ridiculously cheap, and I have been in and out of the clinic within 20-25 minutes total.

The staff are very kind, attentive, and some speak English. The dentist that worked on me has medical training in the USA and speaks fluent English.

I was on a holiday trip and had a dental emergency so I went to their dental clinic and had a root canal treatment. Very impressed by the care and quality. They explained to me carefully what was going on and make sure I didn’t feel any pain throughout the treatment. They even stayed overtime to take care of me. Really appreciated and I was also positively surprised that the final price was very good, much cheaper than having this treatment in the UK. Thanks again to the staff and the dentist.

Great service, the doctor knows English and gives you spectacular treatment, they serve you very quickly and their prices are very correct. I would definitely repeat without hesitation

Really great experience! Both of the dentists, assistants, and staff I saw communicated fluently in English and took the time to explain everything that they would do. When something didn't feel right with my bite they took the time to fix it until I was happy. I was/am very impressed! Highly recommend.

Details:

I came to DUO for a second opinion after originally going to a local dentist in South Osaka. The local dentist drilled out 3 teeth for inlays but I didn't fully understand what was going on (probably my fault). The local dentist then told me that I had 6 more cavities that needed to be replaced after we finished with the inlays.
I thought it was a bit much, and was still confused about the first procedure, so I went to DUO for English speaking advice. DUO said that, while not great, the other teeth are OK for now, and also explained the work of the the local dentist. Trust gained. With that, I had them (DUO) finish the inlays of the other 3 teeth too because I could trust them.

That was my experience. I recommend anyone to go here if you are worried about your teeth and japanese language only dentists.

I highly recommend this clinic. Like many people I don’t like going to the dentist but the staff and dentists made each trip a relaxing experience. They clearly explained the condition of my teeth and recommended the best ways to go out improving my dental health.

著書も沢山あり、技術的には間違いのない治療を受けれると思って良いと思います。
専門はインプラントだそうですが、他の専門分野の歯科医師たちとも交流が深く、必要に応じてその道のスペシャリストも紹介いただけます。
そういう意味で、歯にトラブルを抱えている方は、まずここに行ってみることをお勧めします。
私が感心するのは、そのような先進的な歯科医院でありながら、頭でっかちなところがなく、気さくに相談に乗ってくれることです。これは院長はじめ、先生方の人柄によるところが大きいと思います。
また、予防歯科にも力を入れておられ、衛生士さんのレベルも非常に高いです。歯石とりなどの定期的なクリーニングも非常に丁寧にやってくれます。これまで通っていた医院とあまりに違うので非常に驚きましたが、本来はそれくらいのしっかりとしたクリーニングをやるべきなんだそうです。
これは誰もが比較しやすく違いを感じやすいので、今行っている所がイマイチと感じる方は、一度試してみる価値はあると思います。
今後もお世話になっていきたい歯科医院です。

医院長が診て下さいましたが、不安なことがあると、きちんとこちらの話を聞いて下さり、説明も分かりやすく、安心して治療を受けることが出来ました。
今では定期検診に通っているのですが、ブラッシングの仕方なども丁寧に指導していただけるので、歯のメンテナンスもしっかりと出来ています。
院内は雰囲気も良く、清潔に保たれており、感染症対策もしっかりとされています。
これからも通い続けたいと思えるおすすめのクリニックです。

スウェーデン式歯医者ということで行ってみたところ、先生がきちんと老後まで歯を残すため無駄な治療もしないし、押し売りもしてこない。

歯をきれいに保つための努力の仕方や歯がないと困ることの指導をしてくださるのがありがたい。

先生や衛生士さんの熱心な指導のおかげで歯磨きやデンタルフロスに対する取り組みが変わったし、安易なインプラントなどの危険性を教えて下さるので、とても勉強になる。

麻酔の量を気遣ってくださったり、針も痛くないものを選んでくださってありがたい。

あくまで予防が大事なのだと分かるので劇的な治療はないかもしれないですが、自分には歯の健康への意識改革となりとても良かった。
