It's a house in a back alley, so had a bit of trouble finding it in the dark.

But once we arrived, the staff were very friendly greeting us. They tried really hard to figure out how to communicate with us, as they don't seem comfortable in English. Google translate helped and their service was top notch.

The food was incredibly creative. We had all sorts of fresh fish and vegetables in combinations that I have never seen before. They all tasted great. Some highlights were an amberjack "sandwich" with white radish as the buns, oyster rice in an iron pot, and their take on monaka for dessert.

We'll definitely come back next time we're in Osaka.

Unforgettable Omakase experience. Chef is extremely kind and will explain all dishes in English for foreigners. Food is outstanding and extremely creative. Dishes are presented like if it were an art gallery. Definitely must come here if in Osaka.

The atmosphere, staff, and food are at a level of the best restaurants in the world. Being American we decided to celebrate our Thanksgiving here and it was marvelous as the owner and staff made us feel like family. Our knowledge of the Japanese language is little but we had no issues in communication. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants not just a meal but an experience. You can definitely taste the love and skill put into each dish.

This place is simply amazing. Some of the finest food in Japan. Do not even think of missing Kawahara if you are in the country. Kawahara-taisho and his wife are delightful hosts, making the place even better.

親しい仲間との忘年会で伺いました。地元中心の良い素材を使った丁寧な仕事のお料理に大満足。ランチならとってもリーズナブルです。

どの皿もちょっとした工夫がしてあって、楽しくいただきました。お皿もお料理に合わせて趣向が違うものが使われているので、それも楽しめます。ご主人の細やかな心配りで、心地良い時間を過ごせました。

初めて利用させていただきました。オープンから3年目とのことですが、とても、美味しい日本料理を頂くことができました。お料理も一つ一つ素材を活かしつつ丁寧な仕事をされておられます。私は一階のカウンターを利用しました。デザートの酒粕を使ったムースのような一品が特に美味しかったです。

リノベーションしている古民家の日本食屋さん。

内装も綺麗でお洒落でした。

15000円のコースで少しお高いですが、どの料理も美味しく楽しめました。

締めのご飯もありましたので、お腹は満腹になります。

また行きたいと思えるお店です。

古民家の雰囲気も、お料理もご主人おすすめの日本酒、お人柄、すべてのバランスが最高でした。

中崎町のまさか？と思われる大衆建売住宅エリア、質素な建材使ってますが、伝統的な京町家懐石、比較的お手軽値段ランチゆえ、高級食材使わず、けどセンス抜群、若いご主人愛想良し、なるほど自分以外オール女性客(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

日本酒と鰹節のマリアージュ最高でした。
当然ながら季節感ある料理で大変満足しました。

創作和食と言いながら、しっかりした和食の技法の上に、素材の良さを良さを使いながら、自分の個性を出す。 此処に又来たいと思うお店でした！

Siamo stati in questo ristorante durante il nostro viaggio ad Osaka. L’abbiamo scoperto grazie alla guida Michelin di cui vanta una stella meritatissima. Ad accoglierci lo chef Kawahara che ci ha introdotto in questo viaggio veramente unico alla scoperta della cucina giapponese. Se passate da Osaka dovete assolutamente fare tappa. È fondamentale la prenotazione.

材料へのこだわりもありますが、やはり調理しだいなんでしょうと。
今日も強く感じました。

ここの料理は本当においしいです。
川原さんは人柄もよく、料理に対してももちろん真摯に取り組んでおられますが、それ以上にお客さんがどう感じるかを大切にして下さってるように思います。
居心地の良い場所です。
