The bar is very relaxing and quiet. The bartenders are nice people. The lady bartender speaks good English.

i would absolutely recommend this bar to anyone in osaka!!! went on a wednesday holiday night and got seated immediately. exceptional quality liquor in a peaceful atmosphere with expert bartenders. both spoke very good english and were helpful i n describing our drinks. the snacks (smoked nuts and dried fruit) were also above average. will recommend to anyone interested in sampling japanese or any liquors

Stopped by here as a last stop before calling it a night. Language barrier was a bit difficult but the bartender was very patient and tried his best to work through our orders. He was also explanative in the certain regional spirits used for the cocktails. Vibe was very intimate and accommodating.

Kind of a Jack of all trades bar with Master being great at innovating simple classics, but also equally amazing at bringing forth some insanely good wine bottles.
Downstairs is a cute, tiny bar area, but upstairs is a wine salon. Choose whichever one depending on interest and curiosity.
You will be taken care of well.

This place is great. The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was kind and hospitable. The selection of whiskeys are fantastic and the cocktails are incredible. The bar atmosphere is dark and comfortable with a relaxed feel. It’s seats about 10 customers. Highly recommend

My spouse and I went on a Sunday night at 7pm and were the only people there. The space is quiet and small, with a bar that seats 6 to 8(?) and an additional lounge we didn't see. It was cozy and comfortable, with liquor bottles lined up in a row running down the length of the bar (there was no place else to put them, we assumed). The bartender had a presumably encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails and was delighted to make recommendations to us as we traveled Japan (my 1st time visiting). The drinks we had were classics (boulevardier and bijou) and were meticulously prepared with Japanese spirits and fine glassware. Would definitely return again.

A true gem hidden in umeda. The bar staff were truly sincere in their service and passion towards their craft. Sampled amazing gins and whisky all made well and with care. You can tell the staff respects both whisky and people.

Take note; this is a whisky bar and the gin branch is located close by.. I was interested in going to their gin bar - bar juniper - however it was full at the time..because of this one of the staff ran across and picked up some gins to bring back for us to sample!!
Excellent service going beyond what is expected of hospitality anywhere I've been to. These guys are amazing! Highly recommend

Takuya took good care of us, hunting down sake when we requested it, and carefully selecting a whiskey for us to choose. We came early on Saturday around 20h and it was quiet and very peaceful. Perfect to communicate with whomever you are with.

Later he showed us the copy of Whiskey Advocate Summer 2019 where he was interviewed. Quite and extraordinary experience to be here the same day his interview was published.

Great cocktails. The bartenders kotaro and Kawasaki are truly amazing. Geniune, friendly staff. Great at what they do. Sister bar to bar juniper. Amazing gin and whisky assortment.

Awesome cocktails, great service and a really friendly staff. They sell cuban cigars and you are allowed to smoke inside. Definitely worth a visit.

Very congenial spot to stop, and high end liguors, they had don Julio 1942 for me, but I sure would like to open one of the first growth Bordeaux wines I saw in the locker closet! Rare find all round....

Super cute small bar, made for the whiskey drinker. Kawasaki was our bar tender and he was extremely helpful and really, really lovely.
