Hotel new Hankyu Osaka

This hotel, conveniently situated next to Umeda and Osaka Station, offers excellent service with exceptionally tidy room cleaning. However, it's worth noting that the rooms are somewhat small and aged. Unfortunately, the hotel is set to close next year.

Really convenient to Osaka Umeda station. You can easily catch the bus here to get to KIX. You can easily get luggage to the airport then catch the bus as same day departure. So convenient!
Visit Mizuno store as it is close by along with other stores and sites!

Arrived on Nov 13 to a big line up of maybe 30 people checking in but it was really fast like around 5min
Easy and fast process
The baggage holding area was also fast and efficient

Location location location! This hotel could not be more centrally located. There are great amenities like a free cloak check, affordable breakfast buffet, and adjoined Tully's Cafe. The rooms are very small, so if you get an economy, be prepared for economy. However the staff is super friendly and the AC works well. Would stay here again!

Hotel provides full facilities. It located near a lot of super malls, airport bus station, Osaka station to commute to other provinces... , which is very convenient.

Location is best. It’s a little older hotel. Comes with free breakfast. It’s small as Japanese hotel.

The best location ever!! GET THE AIRPORT BUS from the Kansai airport!! Much cheaper and easier to get to the hotel. You will be getting off right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, you may get lost underground. It was hard to find it for me because I took the JR train. The area was so crowded and complicated with many train lines. However you can ask anyone passing by. Most people knew where the Newhankyu Hotel was. There were many signs that led me the hotel due to it is the bus stop to the airport.
Nice and clean room. It was small but enough for me. 24hours concierge with complimentary. Window can not be open, but there is a air circulator. I would like to stay again if I visit again

Budget hotel near Osaka Station. Rooms are abit small and dated but the convenience is fantastic. Endless shops and restaurants nearby, plenty to see and do. Many japanese folk check in here too. Good for short holiday stay.

Great location, food was excellent and customer service was outstanding

Great location as it is right next to the Osaka JR train station and also the subway station. The airport express stops right in front of the hotel as well. The hotel is a little old but everything is kept clean and works. We stayed in a triple room and by Japanese hotel standards, the room was still spacious enough for our 3 medium size luggage. Lots of food and shopping around and getting to other cities was a breeze since we are so near to the JR station and the subway station. Will stay there again if I visit Osaka in the future.

I like this hotel because it's close to the Osaka Station and there are elevators here and there which made it easier for me and my family to go from the station to the hotel and vice versa, what with large suitcases that we brought. The triple room where we stayed was large enough to accommodate two adults and two minors. It was in fact the largest hotel room in Japan that I had stayed in by far. The interior was a bit dull since it's an old hotel (it's been around since 1967 if I'm not mistaken!) but the room was clean and got all the amenities that we needed. I'd love to stay there if I visit Osaka again in the future.

Location is great very near subway and JR lines, convenience stores, restaurants, and shops. It is also steps away from the Airport Limousine Bus station which is very convenient. My only concern is the size of the shower / bathroom inside the room since it may be a bit of a hassle for tall people as it is very narrow. I didnt have a problem though since im petite :)

Well organized, staff is polite and friendly. Rooms is compact yet organized and well planned. Location is good. Then only complaint is too crowded in the lobby area. Anyway, I will definitely stay here again in future.

We stayed in traditional Japanese room (tatami mat). Room was very clean. Spacious if compare to others Japanese hotels in big city. Very quite. Location is perfect for travel to other areas by subway and intercity train (JR and local train). Very close to shopping malls, restaurants (from small stalls to big restaurant), groceries, pharmacy shops.

Hotel New Hankyu Osaka very close to Umeda station and Osaka station. Just a walking distance by subway underground (there is many line can go make sure you know which line and the direction). Surrounding by a lots of shopping mall (Lucia and yodobashi umeda shopping mall). I find very convenience to find food, shopping with my group of family. The most important is the airport limousine bus just exactly at the back door of the hotel, I don't have to walk cross over the street. It is very important for me such a big family members (10ppl) with a lots of luggage, bus will straight to airport, it is connecting between hotel and airport route. I also find out not many airport limousine bus have early morning service, but this one operate start from 3am until 11pm! It just good for those have early morning flight.

The room i have is family connecting room (4 bed and 2 bed for 2 room). Room space quite small compare with usual hotel room but I still find comfortable. (9 luggage we had in our room)

I was surprise they generously gave my family members(only for lady) some complimentary gift such has mask, leg massage lotion, eye relaxing cover and others items during my check in. Everyone can pick two of the items.

Customer service is satisfy, location is excellent. The only downside is room not so spacious but overall i am happy, I definitely will come here again.

Very nice location if you are flying to Osaka. From airport to hotel around 60 minutes by bus. Bus stop at airport station 5. Return ticket can be purchased at the stop. The bus stop at hotel front door so no need to walk and search. Room has nice size and right beside shopping mall and food street. Hotel is a little old but clean.

Definitely near the JR Osaka Station and Hankyuu Railway Station, you can use the bridge or the streets below. The rooms are big for three people with three medium/large suitcase. The rooms are clean except the door is little bit not soundproof. Take note the electrical outlets because some of them are connected as a light switch.

The location is good, near osaka station, yodobashi shopping center, and many other public places. The services are very warm. The room size is rather small, standard japanese hotel, but great facilitated. The breakfast are great with many selections and good taste.

I really like staying at this hotel. Of the 20 of times I’m in Osaka, I’ve stayed here most of those. Convenient to Osaka Station and Umeda Station. Near many restaurants, Night time bars, and shopping. Direct Airport Bus to and from Kansai and Itami to the hotel just outside. Rooms are typical smaller size unless you want a suite. Hotel has been remodeled last year. And everything smells brand new. Clean and very friendly staff. Very Good breakfast buffet, use coupon found in room for a discount or ask the front desk. I’d always stay here again.
