Ishibashi Cultural Center

Such a wonderful park, free entrance too!
Famous for having a lot of flowers. Supposed to be near hydrangeas season now but was there too early and the flowers were not in full bloom yet.
There is a rose garden and there are so many varieties of roses. Even though the roses were not in peak bloom, they were still insanely gorgeous!
There are other gardens for other plants too, but they were not in season.
There is a big lake, with a swan, and many fishes. The area surrounding the lake was wonderful.
You can spend hours here just enjoying the peaceful and beautiful park, strolling along the paths and around the lake. The area is quite big.

MUST VISIT.
Only place that you can find roses in Fukuoka during December. Very well maintained garden.

This quickly became one of my favorite parks in all of Japan. From the message at the entrance, beautiful statues, fountain, seasonal flowers, and museum, this place was so relaxing. Everyone there was very friendly and we even had a kind older woman come up to talk with us, and later she found us and gave us discount tickets to the art museum! There was a small festival, with some food booths and a jewelry stand as well. I don’t know who is in charge of choosing, planting, and arranging the flowers, but they deserve a raise because everything was beautiful. I wish I lived nearby so I could spend more time here and experience the different seasons. The park itself is free, and they have some paid parking available.

Beautiful scenery. A good place to enjoy nature, culture and enrichment of historic occurrence.

Beautiful gardens, great children's library and other cultural experiences such as music hall and museum make this one of my families favorite places to go on a nice afternoon.

敷地内には美術館や図書館、文化ホールが併設されていて、人々の憩いの場です。
いつ行っても隅々まで掃除や手入れか行き届き、四季折々の花が訪れる人を和ませてくれます。あいにく昨日は黄砂の影響でどんよりとしたお天気でしたが、鮮やかな色のチューリップやビオラが満開、本当に綺麗でした。
バラの新芽が出始めていたので、花の咲く頃にまた訪れてみたいなぁと思いました。

前からパンフレットを見て行きたかった所です。とにかく石橋正二郎さんは努力家で、商才に長けていて実行力のある方だったのですね。仕立物屋さんから世界のブリヂストンに会社を育て上げ、文化ホール、文化センター、美術館、記念館、庭園など全部を久留米市に寄附。久留米の発展に尽くした人です。行って良かったです。勉強になりました。庭園も素晴らしくてオススメです。

Trung tâm có vuờn hoa hồng đang nở rộ với rất nhiều màu sắc, có wifi free, nhiều chỗ ngồi ngắn cảnh và có thư viện bên cạnh tiện cho học tập.

初めて訪れましたが、本当に立派ですね。石橋正二郎記念館、図書館、美術館など文化センターに相応しい装いです。久留米と言えば石橋すなわちブリヂストンと言えるのを体現した施設と言えるでしょう。あと併設されてるバラ園も素敵でした。
久留米市民の憩いの場なんでしょうね。

久留米市を代表する観光スポットです。

すばらしい庭園、久留米市美術館、図書館などが、庭園内にあり、その時々の目的に応じてゆっくりと時間を過ごすことができます。

特に、庭園は、四季折々にふさわしい花々が植えられ、樹木も、春には桜、秋には、銀杏など庭園内を散策するだけで、心が癒されます。

久留米市美術館では、数年前には漫画家萩尾望都さんの「ポーの一族」の特別展や、今、現在は「芥川龍之介・夏目漱石・菅虎雄　三氏の関わりに視点を置いた企画展」が開催されています。

久留米市民にとってとても誇れる場所だと思います。
