Books Kinokuniya Umeda Main Store

A quite large bookstore in the train station. It's pretty large and having a lot of books with various topics(computer engineering, sports, literatures, comics, foods, ordinary magazines...). If you have some time while waiting for something in this station, I'd recommend this place to visit.

An old-fashioned bookstore with lots of books and no seats to sit down. No fancy products beside books. They have quite some good selection of foreign books, English, Chinese, French, German and Spanish. The staff was very friendly. As a tourist, you can get your tax return immediately if you have your passport with you.

Kinokuniya is a bookstore chain you will find around Japan. This is the largest store I have seen yet.

In particular, between going to probably 20 or so bookstores between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, this store hands down has the best selection of JLPT prep books I have seen. If you are in the area and looking for these kind of books, you can’t miss the chance to come to this particular store.

Really good selection of English books. Excellent section for English children's books. Also the section is next to the Japanese language section.

More impressive than a library, amazing selection of books and staff have extensive knowledge of their job. Book covers are proactively offered upon purchasing.
And seriously, how many times do you get a map to a bookstore?

A bit difficult to find in the busy Umeda station but probably the best selection of books in English in Osaka (Junkudo seems to be closed now). The selection of books about Japan (next to one of the exit, close to the other books in foreign language) is great, less tacky than what Kinokuniya Shinjuku usually displays.

Went to find some English books while on vacation and they had a great selection, a whole wall of Murakami in English and you can get direct tax free shopping on the spot, highly recommend

You won't find a larger bookstore in Osaka (if you can find it)
Kinokuniya is located ground floor at the Hankyu Station Building in Umeda, so you have to follow the Hankyu Line sign to find it.
They have a large selection of any topic, even a good sortiment of foreign books,
so any bookwork can spend some quality time there.

Quite a big bookstore and I spent some time with my child reading the English children books here. The bookstore is located next to the taxi station near the main road.

Great bookstore with a huge assortment, you can find any kind of books, any kind and also many different languages, foreign editorials, learning languages, and is located right down to Hankyu terminal station you can find many other different kind of shops around.

Excellent selection of English language books, they carry a wide selection of genres and magazines too. There's also a children's books section. Highly recommended bookstore.

Kinokuniya's Hankyu Umeda location is a fantastic book store. They have a massive selection of Japanese books, as well as one of the best selections of English books and magazines in the city. They also have a great selection of Japanese manga and novels translated into English. Highly recommend!

Massive bookstore with lots of English books to choose from. Good place to get Japanese language learning aids. Also, friendly staff, ready to help anytime.

My favourite place in Umeda. Super spacious and variety of books there. I am sure you can find one that you look for. Visit there and enjoy browsing lovely books.
