Very fresh seafood. A must-try for a lot of foreigners. Indoor seating. Free cold tea and wet wipes. Nice service staff.

Their fresh salmon and tuna quality is top-notch. Snow king crab leg and huge prawns freshly grilled are amazing too.

But be warned: It’s honestly very expensive. Will easily spend ¥ 10,000 here for three to four items. Recommend at least trying once though.

Awesome place!!! Super good quality of food and the prices so affordable! We wanted to take away but decided to dine in and had the best eel and sushi bowl, both come with miso soup and free self serve tea. Loved it!

This market is for Sashimi Lovers... must be there... very fresh fishes and sea food Japanese style

Very recommend Otoro sushi when you come here! Tho it is not cheap but worth to try it. We add on fish roe on the sushi, it turn sushi to another level! Mush try!

We had a sashimi platter and it was extremely fresh. They have a nicer sitting area in the back. It’s not a restaurant but a shop where you buy prepackaged sushi/sashimi/ eel etc and you can eat it at the tables they provide

All fresh seafood sushi and sashimi at koromon ichoba market, you really should come here, and enjoy the king crab, which is superb big crab price around ¥2500 and sushi nigiri salmon and mackarel ¥3000 for 10 pcs, anyway all of it, taste really good and fresh from the sea. Its alive. I really love seafood, sushi, sashimi and very satisfying.. #mattheusr

Fresh seafood and very delicious with sake

The seafood was excellent! Fresh and thick. The sushi was also great! I like the pack of eel which was sweet and no odor at all. The price was not cheap and it is reasonable with the quality of food.

One of the best seafood in kuromon, with really good prices. All sort of seafood are available shashimi, sushi and grilled fish, scallops etc etc etc. The variety is amazing. This is where you should eat seafood in osaka.

Very fresh seafood you can find here，prices are all depend on what you wish to spend，have sitting area and wc here within the shop。see photos，photo saids it all。

If you enjoy seafood/sashimi/kaisendon, this is the place to go when you at the Kuromon Shotengai. It is always crowded which is a good thing as the seafood does not last too long.
I ordered a Kaisendon which are numbered on the right side of the wall as you walk in, then get in line as they make it. Pay and try to find a seat! Get some tea and they will take your bowl to your table.

Good variety, but the prices were on the higher side. It's convenient, pay then eat in the designated area. In the back they have whole filets they can cut for you, you pay by the weight.

Highly recommend this place for raw japanese seafood - shashimi. No frills place. You can eat in. Highly recommend you to try the Miso seafood soup which comes with sizeable scallop. It was enjoyable. Just remember no outside food or drinks else the crew will give you a not so gentle reminder. I spent about 6,800 yen for 2 person.

Fresh seafood, sashimi, barbecued it's all amazing great choice for fresh seafood breakfast. Highly recommend if I'm Osaka, Japan.

Huge selection. Nice large thick sushi cuts. Delicious side dishes, fried foods, and dried foods. A nice tea shop provided us samples by opening a brand new bag just for us. So gracious so I had to buy one. Prices are very reasonable. This place is long with at least 100 different shops that sell food.

The quality of the sushi & sashimi were great and the price is unbeatable, you need to pay a least a double in expensive restaurant to taste the Otoro. 1st time I went there around 6pm and the shop was selling food at 20% discount and the Otoro looks quite difference from the 2nd time I visited the shop again for lunch few days later. I would advise the go early and get the best you can instead of waiting for the left over with the discount.
