THE SINGULARI HOTEL & SKYSPA AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN (CANDEO HOTELS Group)

This hotel is just beside the Universal Studios station on the right so accessibility is really good. Rooms were clean and the 14th floor where the spa and vending machines are becomes an unofficial lounge where everyone hangs out waiting for their laundry at the machines. The breakfast has a good variety and is top notch, just the kind of fuel required for your day long expedition of Universal Studios theme park.

Our stay at THE SINGULARI HOTEL & SKYSPA AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN was truly convenient, being in close proximity to Universal Studios. Considering that the station gates close after 11 PM, if you find yourself hungry in the early hours, take the elevator down to B1 and walk about 3-4 minutes to the right to reach Lawson convenience store. They have a relaxing onsen on the upper floor, akin to an open-air bath, providing an exceptionally comfortable soaking experience. 🌟

Location is superb - arguably one of the nearest from the train station; just one right turn and you’re there.
Great option if moving luggages while planning for a trip to USJ.
Late check-out at 12pm if reserving room directly at hotel website.

Note - as convenient as it may to walk out directly from the train station and arrive at the hotel lobby, do note that the train station entrances closes after a certain time past midnight (unsure when exactly). If that happens, you’ll have to make a detour to get back to the hotel lobby, unlike the other hotels in universal city situated closer to main entrance of USJ.

I stayed for 3 days, and 2 nights (Sunday-Tuesday) in the Deluxe King Suite with spa bath, for my trip to Universal and surrounding Osaka. I arrived earlier than check-in by about an hour, and was able to get into my room right away! The hotel was super conveniently located to the train station, right around the corner after you exit the train gates. It was also super convenient to Universal, right at the start of Universal City Walk. The room, although small by US standards, was nice and roomy by Japan standard, the spa bath was absolutely amazing, and the outside patio was HUGE! The room was nice and clean and the bathroom, shower and toilet room were really nice and clean with high end finishes! The breakfast, which was included, was buffet style and had a variety of food options to enjoy, all were delicious!

This is the best option if you plan to not only go to universal but also plan to hop on the train to visit other areas in Osaka. Close enough to universal to quickly walk over, but not too close where you are always going to be assaulted by huge crowds of people going in and out of Universal.

The location is the best. It's attached to the subway station. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to Universal, but there are convenience stores and restaurants on that road. It's enough for an elementary school child to walk.

Amazing hotel! Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a nice variety of options, be warned though there is a rush at 7am as people try to eat and go to the park. The rooms were nice with a beautiful view of the water. Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station making it easy to get to places in Osaka. Highly recommend.

They even gave us early check-in way before check-in timing as they have available room for us.

The staff here are absolutely phenomenal. I had a problem with the dates on my reservation and one of the staff members- Shoma not only helped me resolve my issue but went above and beyond to ensure we got the best possible outcome. Absolutely amazing!

Room was quite small, we found the breakfast buffet was not very child friendly or not catered with a variety for western tourists. And breakfast was not included therefore we found it was expensive yet not satisfying.

The location is the key in this hotel and the facilities such as the spa and laundry services are well designed. Good for a short stay to visit Universal Studios.

Studios Japan. Helpful staff, room tidy. It was my first trip to Osaka, I managed without speaking Japanese, staff at the hotel were very understanding and kind.

Great location especially after a full day at universal studios. You can also enjoy Universal City Walk which is full of places to eat. We are glad we stayed here. The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. They were very helpful. We regret only staying a couple days, we could have stayed another day or two.

I got a superior twin room high floor, was worth the money, I could see Hogwarts castle from my bed, when I booked I specified which view I preferred. The bed was the most comfortable bed I had this trip, most of the hotel beds have been firm to hard ++ these were almost soft. The onsen was great, you can see the city from the "out door" bath. Didn't have the breakfast and I didn't need to speak to the staff much so can't comment on those things. I have stayed in the Hotel Keihan Universal Tower before, the only other hotel in Universal City with an onsen or public bath, they had bigger rooms but bed was as hard as concrete. Would recommend the Singulari.

It was just steps away from Universal Studios which I really appreciated. The room was nice and comfortable. It offered great amenities for staying there. The only misstep was the breakfast buffet which was just okay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Singulari Hotel and Sky Spa for two nights and it was a good experience. The hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk away from Universal Studio, which is close enough especially when you have already spent all day in the park.

The room was clean and well-maintained. Through my window, I could see the Osaka Port. Although I have read some reviews about the rooms not being clean enough, I personally did not have such a problem.

The sky spa is free(15:00-11:00), which is perfect when you are exhausted from the park. There are vending machines for beverages and instant noodles - very convenient, indeed.

Furthermore, commuting to and from the hotel was easy as the JR station is right next to the hotel. If you want to take the limousine bus to the airport, simply walk to the station next to Universal Studio. There is a stop there and the bus ticket cost to Kensai airport is JPY 1,600.

The nearest convenient store is 7-11, which is located right next to the JR station. Additionally, there are also two Lawson at the sky walk area.

Overall, my stay at Singulari Hotel and Sky Spa was great. Didn’t try their breakfast since I had to go to Universal Studio early. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Universal Studio Osaka!

Great hotel very close to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. The rooms are spacious and clean. I enjoyed the 14th floor spa and the breakfast buffet.

This hotel is the pinnacle of Japanese quality and hospitality. Their premises are spotless, the food is wonderful, they have a reserve of tickets to USJ so they can probably get you in even when USJ is sold out. I lost my residence card and they immediately shipped it back to my apartment no fees or questions asked. The onsen is wonderful and clean and all amenities are taken care of. Room service is efficient and well done. For the price, this hotel can’t be beat!!! And it’s a stones throw from the park and right next to the train station. As in, RIGHT next to it. I will be staying here on all future trips to USJ.

The only possible thing I could gripe about is the beds are a little hard. But that’s only a personal preference.
