So good! Orders were made through coin machine so get ready of cash. The broth is so good and the fried chicken was delicious! It’s so good we were thinking to revisit before we leave Osaka, I’ve asked if it’s a must for everyone to order at least one meal and a drink because kids can’t finish the bowl of noodles all by themselves, they smiled and said they don’t mind customers order to share. Oh that’s a super plus point to dine in here imho.

The ramen is incredibly flavorful, and the side dish of beef sushi is another standout highlight. Don’t be put off by the long line—it moves quickly and is totally worth the wait. The staff is super nice, making the experience even better. Enjoy!

Order was made through coin machine.
Amazing flavour! I had the chicken one which has thinner noodles and my partner had the fish one that had thicker noodles. Both had their unique taste. It is probably the best ramen I’ve had in my life. I highly recommend the set as you get an extra sushi. The meat on the sushi melts in your mouth oh my goodness….it was delicious.
Went at around 6pm and there was only a group of 3 in front of us. Waited about 10 mins until we were seated. Everyone was polite and spoke a little bit of English. The whole experience felt lux. Would go again.

Had one of the best meals of my life. As a foreign tourist who speaks almost no Japanese I had no problem navigating the dining experience. The vending machine outside the restaurant is cash only (my meal was about 2000 yen), and next to it is an English menu to help you understand what you are ordering. It was about a 40 minute wait until I was seated inside, and it was utterly worth it.

I can't recommend it enough.

Husband and I recently visited this restaurant during our visit to Osaka and I was so happy we did. Upon getting to the restaurant, you order through the machine, which gives you tickets to provide to the staff. It is cash only. The menu on the machine is in Japanese but with pictures. We were able to use Google Translate to identify the differences. Getting closer to the front of the line, I did notice a printed out English menu on the same table that the machine is on. Either way we didn't have much difficulty ordering. This restaurant is small.

There were a couple of tables that can fit 4 people and the rest were bar seats. It made for a very intimate and homey feeling despite the modern decor.

We got the chicken soba + sushi meat set and chicken tsukemen. My husband had the chicken soba and I got the tsukemen. I love love love the broth. It was creamy and was so flavorful and the noodle was the perfect consistency. If you like a lighter flavor, go for the tori soba. The sushi beef was great as well and worth a try! Also can we look at how well the meals are presented?!

I definitely recommend coming here, but prepared that there will be a queue.

We arrived at around 1900 and waited for 45 minutes before getting a table. It is a small shop catering around 10 people at a time. Staff was efficient in taking orders before you get in so once when you get in, your food will arrive in no time.

Highly recommend the Chicken Soba and rare beef sushi. The soup is not too salty, unlike the Nigori one which was very VERY salty.

As for the rice bowl, I would only recommend if you are really that hungry. Otherwise just go for the ramen and do not waste your food quota.

The best Tori Ramen (chicken-based ramen) in town! Highly recommend visiting this ramen shop; there’s always a line, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Super delicious ramen with a perfect chicken broth, and the beef sushi is worth a try. If you like a heavy soup, order the Tsukemen, but if you prefer a lighter soup, Tori Soba is the perfect choice.

This place was so delicious I went two days in a row. I had both their Tsukemen and Ramen style noodle dishes along with their fried chicken and beef sushi. Everything was spectacular and honestly worth the wait. The chicken based broth was unlike anything I’ve had in NYC and the amount of umami was off the charts. The flavor was perfect and wasn’t too salty. If you get the Tsukemen style noodles make sure to ask for “Supu-wari” after have finished your noodles, they add broth to the remaining soup dip to make it less concentrated and effectively turning it into a soup. The staff was also super helpful and friendly.

Make some time to go here, you won’t regret it.

The anchovies soup/paste version is quite unique. I highly recommend it. It's so thick almost like creamy carbonara sauce. Everything was delicious.

Visited this place around 2pm on a weekday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was! It was definitely one of the best paitan I’ve had. Both tsukemen and torisoba options are good - tsukemen if you prefer a creamier soup!

Staff is friendly and is able to communicate pretty well in English.

This place was phenomenal. Normally there is a line up and even when we arrived during typhoon weather there was a line up of people waiting even in the rain. I elected to come the next day and got lucky with not having to wait in line. I ordered the pork bowl rice & soba noodle set. The food was great, everything was delicious. I would definitely visit again. But please be prepared to wait in line as it is a very popular restaurant. The seating area consisted of two tables and a bar seating area where I sat. Host and cooks were really friendly and well mannered.

I have had many different noodle dishes in my time. This is hands in the upper echelon of Ramen/Soba restaurants.

This was next level in that every component of the dish was given high attention to detail, and the ingredients were obviously chosen with great care with the highest quality in mind.

I have had Michelin star noodle dishes all across Asia, and this establishment bests a great many of them (possibly all).

A must try, and worth the commute and wait time if applicable.

lined up 15 minutes before their opening at 10:30am.
located near shinsaibashi shopping street.
immediately got a seat since we lined up early.
the chicken broth was surprisingly thick and frothy, really good umami taste.
blends well together with the ramen.
ajitama has a light smokey flavor.
what I really like is the fried burdock strings they add as a topping, good combination with the chicken soup.
aburi meat sushi is also good.
would like to try the niboshi ramen on our next visit.

Probably one of the best ramen and tsukemen I’ve had in a long time. The soup base is delicate and not overly salty or heavy. Meat was also good, doesn’t really matter if it’s cold or hot.

The fried burdock roots were definitely a nice pairing - but maybe an acquired taste for those who don’t know how to appreciate them. Serving size was decent unless you’re a super big eater - else just add extra noodles or order a donburi on the side.

The staff was also courteous and the store is very clean. Thank you so much for a great dining experience! We will definitely come back again.

Honestly the best out of all the ramen places I tried in Japan. I've been twice now and will return! There's usually a lineup unless you go at really odd* hours or get lucky - inside only holds about 10 people - and now I can see why.

The noodles were delicious.
The broth was flavourful.
The meat was succulent.

Service was efficient and friendly.

* The odd hours to go refers to 3 pm or so, which is right when most ramen places actually close (most are closed between 3-5 or thereabouts)

They do add haddock (or some other type of fish) flakes as an accessory to their noodles. So if you don't want them, just let them know.

Spend 3 weeks in Japan. Went to this place 3 times as this is the best overall meal we had during our stay. We tried around 10 ramen places and this is by far the best. The staff and atmosphere is amazing as well. If there’s one restaurant in Japan from my limited experience I would recommend it’s this one!

This ramen joint serves a very delicious chicken ramen. The bowl is filled with broth that is white and has a super creamy texture. The thinly sliced tender chicken is draped along the side of the bowl together with some fried burdock root which gives the dish a crunch. The composition of the bowl of ramen and the various ingredients was very enjoyable. Lastly, don't forget to order the beef sushi as it was a highlight. The thinly sliced Wagyu is lightly torched before serving and it just melts in your mouth. This ramen joint is definitely worth a try!

Selling ramen/soba cooked in chicken broth with unique toppings and side dishes.

There was a queue, we arrived at 8pm and waited about 30 minutes. They use a coupon vending machine so you order and pay before entering. A server collects your coupon shortly before you are seated. This speeds up the entire process; when you sit down they have already started preparing your food.

Overall it was good an affordable. I paid ¥1250 for ramen and their beef sushi. The beef sushi was really good and the highlight of the meal for me. Truly melts in your mouth.

The ramen texture was good. Broth was rich and creamy. They whisked it to give a nice foamy texture. Not too heavy, but you can take sips of water to let it rest before continuing. The crispy burdock was a nice touch to balance the intensity of flavours.

Their toppings were chashu and chicken breast, served cold but you can dip them in the broth. Flavours were good and meat was tender enough.

Overall good experience, tasty food at reasonable prices. Some waiting involved but well worth it.

Had to wait ~30mins on a Saturday lunch time. We got there about 11:30, got seated at 12. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean and has nice seating. Ramen soup is chicken based - the best chicken based broth we’ve tried. The beef nigiri was standard, and pork bowl was better than expected.

extremely rich chicken broth, with fresh perfectly cooked noodles topped with burdock root. expect a long wait if you come during peak hours. it's small inside, only 2 or 3 tables with 6 or 7 counter seats.
