I had much fun browsing through the shelves filled with lots of stuff I ended up buying something to because it was so cute! It is a great places to find non-pricey games you want too!

Went to Mandrake Umeda for some cheap figurine shoppping. We definitely bought more here and even though it's the main store in Osaka, some of the prices were definitely cheaper than Book-Off! Definitely take a look if you're passing by!

If your looking for something collectible, some old, something rare. Then this is a place to visit. They even buy your collectibles too.
They have a great range from books, action figures, figures, models, DVDs to name somethings.
Items in original packaging or items out of the packagings.
You can just window shop and reminisce on those old toys you use to have or shows you use to watch.
Either way its a great place.

Coolest place I found for second-hand figures in Osaka. Employees were very helpful and kind. Prices were very affordable as well. I highly recommend coming here for your figurine fix.

One of the most striking looking shops of the iconic Mandarake chain of second hand collectables. Each shop is in itself a small museum with all kinds of anime, video games, etc. I specially liked the video games sections in the 3rd floor and the anime books on the 2nd. From cheap NES games to the most expensive 60s toys collectables the shop is worth a look. It is very easy to find an item that is tempting to buy.

BEST MANGA STORE IN THE WORLD! Pretty much any Japanese you crave for is sold here. For instance, mangas such as Rosario + Vampire, is sold for only about 50-100Yen. The staff there are also very friendly and enthusiastic. Moreover, they were able to speak and understand English, making it easier to converse with them. Something to note, many may take that this shop is a shop that sells figures, plushe and other anime merchandise but that is not the case. They only sell mangas but not just the typical mangas you can find at Kinokunia, but a wide variety of different mangas. Furthermore, if you're looking for English mangas, I don't recommend you to come here as they only sell less than 5 different series but if you're looking for Japanese mangas, this would be heaven on earth for you.

An awesome second hand store for all things Otaku. The entrance is modeled like a cave giving the place a slightly otherworldly feel.

Here you can find second hand version of nearly anythinh your Otaku heart desires: Manga, DVD/Blu-rays, CDs, cosplay outfits, Figurines, building kits, Trading game cards, Doujinshi, Artbooks, towels, body pillows, you name it.

Well worth one's time even to just scroll around.

Great selection however they have very limited availability of rare items compared to the one in Akihabara. Still very enjoyable to look at what they have. Seek and you may find.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Even with a language barrier the staff was helpful, and thanks to Google translate I was able to ask questions and get answers. The staff helped me find a rare book I have been looking for. I tried to find it at other places but staff members in other stores refused to help because I did not speak Japanese.

The selection here is crazy good. Even has lice music. People are standing in queues before it opens at 12pm. Selection of mangas, cosplays, merch of everything I could think of. Tax free service as well. Everything sold at Mandarake is generally used, so keep that in mind, so many things are cheaper than usual. Later we found a few things we bought cheaper on Japanese Amazon though.

It's also a lot bigger then the one in Namba

Nice price doujinshi place for older fandom. My personal suggestion would be you need to spend some time in the store to find some good stuffs. I’m so happy that I found lots of my favorite mangaka and doujinshi and the price is only 500-1000¥

They also they lots of figures and other stuffs, so if you are interested, consider checking out here :)

For figurines this place will blow your mind. Rows and rows with shelves 2 or 3 figurine boxes deep! And some of them at ridiculously low prices too. A must visit

Wide Range of choices span over 2 storey.

The upper floor consist of toys, Games and figures and some anime based.

The place was sorted and well labelled.
Even the section has name in English and Japanese also.

The staff was very very helpful. Not only one but all staff are..

Nice selection was available and the price seem affordable.

The Nintendo game was not much of selection for the popular game.

But the Action Figures and other section have a considerable choices of selection.

Recommend if you happen nearby.
The entrance was in Japanese so abit tricky.

One of the better Mandarake locations I have visited in Japan. Pretty good selection of classic 70s and 80s Japanese poco merch.

- Wide range of manga
- Staff were efficient in offering assistance (e.g. Locating 1st volumes)
- Relatively affordable figurines (including DC & Marvel)

Great decor with dungeon-themed stairways and a giant mammoth skeleton display on the main floor (2F). A must visit even if you are not into cosplay, manga or second hand figures
