I went to this clinic because the reviews say that they’re foreigner-friendly and has a very good service, and turned out that’s true! When I first came here 1 female dental hygienist(?) assisted me in English and I was glad because i just came to Osaka not long ago (i’m sorry i don’t remember her name but she speaks very good English and is very nice!😭). Even so, not everyone can speak English. From my experience, I believe the dentist who assisted me and the reception staff can’t really speak English that much but they could still help just fine! If you could understand basic Japanese i think there would be no problem. The dentist was very attentive and fast. For the price, if you have national insurance, the price is very affordable. Not to mention the ambiance is really nice, very worth it! Located in the heart of Umeda, very accessible and easy to find. Very recommended!

So far great. I do wish that a price list was on the website because I honestly don't know what the price of my root canal next week will be haha. But, the experience was great. First time to the dentist in 20 years and they didn't make me feel bad. Just fixing the problem. I hope that I can come for a cleaning after the tooth canal because I have tartar build up on my lower teeth.

Was having the worst pain of my life when I touched down in Osaka. Luckily I made a trip across my hotel to Dental ofc Otani. Swift and efficient treatment to solve my problems.

If you're a foreigner living in the area and thinking about going to the dentist, don't think twice and make an appointment here. Really great office with amazing English.

The doctor speaks fluent English. The staff is very kind here and the atmosphere and building is very professional and clean.
I was seen for emergency dental work on short notice and the doctor made time to help me. He also took time to talk things through with me even though he was already squeezing me into his schedule.
I did not feel rushed or unwanted. This is the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had in my life.

Amazing dentist. On holidays here and had a tooth ache that was really ruining it. They seen me without a booking even though they were booked out and help with the pain until I get back to Australia. Beyond grateful to the whole team.

Best dentist, including those Ive been to in the states. Friendly, honest, and his work exceeded my expectations. No pain during shots and the dentist takes any and all questions seriously with respect and patience. Facility is clean, tech. advanced based upon the other dentists we’ve been to, and I cannot say enough of how calm and professional this dentist is. He is now our family dentist and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of dental care.

Hands down BEST DENTIST specially for foreigners. Beautiful clinic, fantastic staff, everyone is helpful, speaks English and are professional and knowledgeable. I always recommend Dental Office Otani to foreigners looking for a dentist in Osaka. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate this clinic.

Needed to do a medical/dental clearance in English for employment purposes. Excellent experience overall--No hassle, respectful staff. Dr. Otani is a competent dentist and was happy to fill out my clearance forms in English. Absolutely recommend Dr. Otani and his team.

First time to visit a dental clinic here in Japan. The doctors and staff speak English well. Sophisticated dental clinic at the heart of Umeda. The tools are new and very good customer service. Not too far from the osaka train station as well so I didn’t have any trouble finding the location. PS: for foreigners don’t forget to bring your insurance card (government issued). They don’t do surgeries as well. I had a wisdom tooth 🦷 that grew horizontally and it needs to be removed but I need to have it done at a hospital lol. I don’t mind, I like the place and the service. 😆

Beautiful new, clean office. Was able to book almost immediately. Staff are very kind, all speak English well. Thorough and very cheap, cannot recommend this place highly enough. Also very central location opposite Yodobashi Camera.

I have very sensitive teeth, and a cleaning is usually a painful experience for me. But the Dr. was so precise that I actually had a painless cleaning experience. Most impressive. Thank you.

最後の歯医者見つかりました！ずーっと色々行きましたが、さすが、博士号を持っている歯医者です！もう、ココしか行きません。
海外の歯科医師免許を持っていられるようで世界的に最高レベルで素晴らしい歯医者です。
また、ゴミやホコリひとつ落ちていなくて、床もほんっとにピカピカ！衛生面も技術面も最高クラスです。
豪華でモダンなインテリアが素敵な歯科院なので高いのか⁈と思いきや、全く！普通の歯科医院と同じ値段ですので安心してください。
保険適用と適用外をきちんと丁寧に説明してくれますし、わたしは、ほとんど保険適用でした。コスパもいいです。一生通います。

定期検診で初めてお世話になりました！写真のようにわかりやすく今の歯の状態を見せていただき、サボっていたフロスをちゃんとしないといけないなぁと受け入れることができました_(._.)_
次回の検診ではもっといい状態になるように日々歯のケアをしていきます！
歯のクリーニングまで初診で完了していただき、とっても満足でした！
受付からお会計までは75分程度でした♪
