One of the tastiest yakitori I had in Japan. Great charcoal flavor and chicken umami. The size of yakitori is bigger than other yakitori venues.

Definitely worth a visit, their Tsukune is amazing.
Make sure you reserve in advance during winter season!

Tucked away into a corner of the square in front of Hakuba railway station is a true gem. Fabulous cuisine from a great chef. Traditional restaurant with a focus on chicken. Went there two nights running and did not run out of delicious dishes to eat. Highly recommended.

Outstanding yakitori restaurant that surpasses all expectations. A true gem of Hakuba, nested conveniently at the train station. The care that the chef takes to season, prepare and grill the skewers of chicken on real charcoal is clearly evident, even more so if you get a bar counter seat. Be prepared to be hit by waves of aromatics as they sizzle in front of you. The price is fantastic though they do insist that you buy a drink if you want to dine there, and the drinks are understandably a bit higher priced than usual. I recommend to go with their sake options, which are more value for money, and order up as much yakitori as you can. Be adventurous and try all kinds!

One of the best yakitoro we had in Hakuba. Especially on a snowy night, definitely warmed our bellies. Reservations should be made way ahead and try to go early if not some of the dishes will be sold out. Staff speaks perfectly good English so communication won't be a problem.
