Kichiri Umeda

Very nice and peaceful ambience if you are looking for a “less-crowded” place for a good meal. Portions are fine-dining sizes fyi. Food was good, especially the fish roe rice! Appreciate the staff/chef for doing up such a nice welcome message on our dessert plate/order! 🙏🏻👍 Keep up the good service!

Absolutely amazing, from the moment you stepped in this restaurant, the surrounding already let you feel comfortable

On Sunday evening, I visited Kichiri (Umeda) and I had a fantastic time. Customer service was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, diverse menu options, and a wide selection of drinks (alcohol, and non-alcohol). The crew even personalized the welcome plate with a thoughtful touch in Bahasa (my home country official language).

Kudos to the team for their outstanding work, and I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Menu was interesting with a twist of fusion flavours. Widest variety of drinks on the menu that those partying in dotonburi would cry looking at it. Very nice interior deco that for a minute i thought I was back in the ritz carlton. Service staff was very accomodating and absolutely lovely. In short, great value, great food, great service, great place. MUST go place if you had spent too much on traditional Japanese food, went broke and still need to enjoy. Price here is very reasonable for what it offers.

We arrived late in Osaka and were looking for a place to eat. Our two girls were hungry and I’m so glad we found this place. First and foremost we don’t speak much Japanese and the staff were awesome. They were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. The food was also awesome, everything we ordered tasted great, probably the best place we ate in Osaka. Lastly the restaurant architecture was so cool. It looks like you’re sitting on the floor, but there’s actually a space for your legs and the booths were something really different. If you have a chance go check them out, you won’t regret it.

Food is superb. Portions are small so you can try different dishes. Staff are attentive to your needs and are very friendly. Great chill atmosphere to hang out. Just note there's a cover charge of 450 yen per pax. Try the beef fried rice, it's delicious!

A great recommendation thanks to the well deserved high score already on Google Maps, we were really pleased to find such an interesting menu so close to our hotel. Every dish was just a little different in a way that made them quite special. From curry spices with the steak, to the delicious flavourful spices enhancing the karaage to perfection. The caramel banana parfait was also nice and sweet with frozen berries and yogurt.

But the true champions of the meal were the guacamole, the crème brulé pancakes and the mont blanc, all made fresh at the table and absolutely delicious beyond expectation.

Staff were helpful and reached levels of service I've come to enjoy and take for granted in Japan, perfect!

As a foreigner, I made a reservation for 11 people at Kichiri Umeda official website, this restaurant is very good with delicious foods, low prices and warm and private sitting space, I’ll super recommend this.

Great tapas style food for good price. Very relaxing environment and totally friendly staff. And food was so delicious and high quality. We also tried the cocktails, so surprise... They were fantastic. Worth coming back.

It’s one of my best place in Umeda. In terms of food, it’s exceptional and outstanding. I mean it’s bloody amazing in fact. Also I really like atmosphere as well. It’s like romantic rather than other restaurant. If u r looking for some place to eat tea with ur parter, I highly recommend here.

Very good restaurant with a very nice waitress who can speak English (a good point for foreigners who cannot speak Japanese)
