Utsubo Park Rose Garden

You won't believe riees like these even possibly exist. Very nicely planned rose garden with a waterfall and a creek running through. Great variety of tea rose hybrids from all the world. In October little poor blooming, however every bush has some flowers. Nice fountain at the entrance. Popular place to photograph kinds and microscopic dogs. Seems August is ghr best time to visit, but still very enjoyable in Early October as well. Punlic access free, toilets at the entrance.

Currently autumn rose festival is happening. All the roses in the rose garden is on full bloom. Best place to hangout during weekend and weekday in the busy city.

Utsubo Park in Osaka's Nishi Ward has a special history.In the Edo period, it flourished as a town for dried goods.During the war, it was an army airfield. Therefore, it's a rectangular shape with a width of 700m. Now there are a number of tennis court. The well-maintained garden is modern and sophisticated. It's a huge park with artworks everywhere, there are nice shops scattered around, there's also a restaurant, so, photographers and couples can stroll around all day, there's amusement facilities for children and adults at the Science and Technology Center Northern next portion, toilets prepared and wheelchairs user are also acceptable. 10 minutes bus ride from Yotsubashi Line stop will take you to JR Osaka station.

It's a very nice public park that has a variety of roses. Nice place in the middle of the city to enjoy the view

Fantastic “natural” stream design with chlorinated water for kids to play in! Stream bed is made of large pebbles that are cemented onto the floor, safe for kids to explore. No changing facilities though, bring a mat to picnic!

Great place to hangout with friends and family. Beautiful place to enjoy nature the smell of rose add fragrance in nature.

This time of year being mid November and autumn is spectacular with the trees turning a spectacular red with maple leaves falling like soft snow. It's a local park but catch it on a weekend like I did you'll see the really Japan with parents playing with the kids in the park, did been taken on walks, couples, people sitting in the park admiring the weather and the rose garden in full bloom. It's not a huge park but like I said you'll see the genuine Japan.

While I am traveling I continue jogging in the morning and discovered this wonderful park!

One of the nicer green spaces in Osaka, the rose garden is a delight in any season, even when the roses themselves are no longer in bloom it's nice to sit in the sun by the water and enjoy a picnic.

Less formal than the rose gardens at Nakanoshima, this is a lively, bustling place with a stream and attractive landscaping features. Have enjoyed strolls, long talks on benches, and even an afternoon picnic-style office party here. The kids park nearby is also a hit.

The place for relaxing and enjoy the beauty of rose garden

Hidden gems. Local usually go here for picnic and go with their family... they have small stone made river with very clear water. The roses are not that charming but a good outdoor place.

Great place to hangout with family and friends and smell the roses. It is easily accessible by bicycle. Car parks are nearby. And it’s about a 10 minute walk from train stations.

Plenty of roses blooming on Christmas Day !
