Wonderful experience here. Beautiful rooms. We had the corner room suite and had a cool view of the city. Room service breakfast was delicious and the service was fantastic. Everyone was so sweet. This hotel has easy access to the JR line which is great. Many of the staff members spoke good English.
Got a foot massage and that was lovely as well!

A fantastic hotel in the heart of Osaka.
Within 10 minutes of Osaka station and closer to the underground and subway stations.

The rooms are luxurious and the views from the 32nd floor were great even though we did not have a city view room.

The choice of food at breakfast is varied and buffet style. Plenty of options for most travellers. Bespoke meals may be ordered.

All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the turn down service is great.

The quality of the room service meals were not great. The loss of heat is possibly due to the distance from the kitchen to the room.

There are many entrances and exits from the hotel (some underground) making the experience enjoyable in all weathers.

Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff is awesome! Soooo nice and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, and the ability to go down to the underground walk path/train station is extremely convenient. The bar was also super cool, some what of an old school vibe, with great drinks and live music!

Booked 2N in a Superior King (room 3219) as our exploration base in Osaka. Hotel is 10min walk from Osaka station, and a mere 4min (but unsheltered) walk northeast to Airport Limousine bus stop (Herbis Plaza).

Room is spacious (4 XL luggage fits easily), with good city view. A Bose speaker, daily turndown service, comfy PJs, french sourced bath salts and Diptyque toiletries elevate the experience further. It has been some time since we stayed in a Ritz (i kinda miss their fluffy bedroom slippers of old), but the layout and setting continues to be comforting.

Staff service level continues to be top notch (as expected). My partner went for the special Franck Muller Botanical Afternoon tea, and the setting at Lobby Lounge was so elegant and enjoyable (with live music accompaniment).

And i finally got myself a Ritz PJ at the retail shop, as it just felt so comfortable during my stay (compared to other PJs i have tried in my trips in other hotels). They actually also have a silk version for purchase.

Pros
> Airport limo bus stop is almost next door
> Decent JPY 1200 taxi ride from Osaka station (esp if you have solid luggages), right to hotel doorstep (fully sheltered).
> Luggage trolley service (we had 6 - 7 pcs, and help arrived within 10mins after we called concierge)

Cons
> I'm a walk-in shower person, so bathtub only setting isn't something we favour (water all over, climbing in/out), although the double shower curtains helped a fair bit on water issue.
> Abit of distance from attractions (but compensated by the peace)
> Somehow, hotel guests do not enjoy a discount when buying from retail shop (thought this would have been a given)
> No more fluffy slippers

Highly recommend as a base to explore Osaka. Drop by and stay at least a night.

An amazing hotel - close to the Osaka Umeda station, which has a wide network of JR lines. Easy to get to if you’re not coming in from the shinkansen (which is Shin-Osaka station).
Highly recommend: the wonderful indoor pool, ordering room service for the Japanese breakfast and signing up for one of the experiences (which i only noticed at checkout!)
The service was pleasant, the rooms were clean and sufficient and the amenities felt very luxurious and fun. Thank you!

Wow, where does one begin? From the moment you drive up, the kindness, love, and hospitality flow through the people and the place. We arrived a little before check-in, but they took us up swiftly to the club lounge, of which we added to our room for the night, and got us a drink of coffee right away. Not seconds later, we had a gentleman come to our table to check us in, swiftly, and give us our room key with a welcome packet. We were able to have a light lunch as well, which was phenomenal!

We headed up to our room and loved the feature of where there is no need to press a button to the room. The programed card knows what floor to go to. We were kindly upgraded to a breathtaking corner suite. Which also made the room more private since our door was the last one near another breathtaking view outside the room. The room was just breathtaking, both literally and physically. Absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom is enveloped with white marble. Which is my husband's absolute favorite stone on earth. We had a phenomenonal bedroom, with chairs to sit and relax in as well as a phenomenal corner view of Osaka!

We had made a reservation for the spa to come to our room at night for a couples foot massage. My husband and I decided to check the spa area out. It was a very relaxing experience to enjoy. They have a phenomenal selection of skin care to use after showering. The staff down there are all so kind and wonderful.

We went to the lounge for tea time. If you have never experienced that, please make the effort. It is truly worth it

We walked around the local area to come back around 7 pm, and since we missed dinner in the club lounge, we ordered a wago burger meal for the night. Then the food arrived so quickly, faster than the estimated time limit. The sweet server came in and placed the food for us near the window to enjoy the nightlife as we ate. The food was all so good. It was sweet ambrosia.

Our foot masseuse's arrived 6 mins before our scheduled time, which is extremely amazing to have a phenomenonal service like that. Phenomenonal massage and definitely worth getting one, if you're staying here.

I got some souvenirs from the Ritz store and once again the same exact treatment. Kindness and effency. She let me choose which plush would look the best for our gifts. Something I hardly experienced while living in North America. She wrapped my items in beautiful wrapping, which I didn't ask for. She gave me an extra bag for the use of giving it as a gift. It's the little details that count.

We ended out visiting the spa to enjoy the outside hot tub and garden. We were greeted with kind employees and enjoyed our last hour outside in the most peaceful, breathtaking, and beautiful garden. It smelled of light flower perfume. Just beautiful.

My husband spoke with the hotel manager to tell him what a wonderful hotel he is running.

I will always remember this place and hold it close to my heart. ❤

I’ve only been to Ritz locations in America and loved staying at Osaka location for sure. Friendly staffs made my stay very pleasant. I loved the classic style of Ritz as always. There are tons of restaurants under the hotel area(connected to subway/mall), which was great.

Exceeded all expectations. My only criticism is the hotel concierge recommended restaurant kaesaki of Kagaman was a bit average. They may need to update their concierge recommendations. Their own in house French restaurant La Baie was much better, possibly the best food I've had in Japan.

Nestled amidst the vibrant energy of Osaka, The Ritz-Carlton offers a sanctuary of luxury and elegance. From the moment you step into the grand lobby, you're greeted with breathtaking views of the city and impeccable service that sets the tone for an unforgettable stay.

We arrived in Osaka travelling in the Shinkasen from Kyoto and took a cab ride from the Shin-Osaka station to the hotel (approx 10-12 minutes). Upon arrival we were welcomed by some very warm and amazing hosts that got us to the checkin station where the hospitality just kept overflowing. Got our room and checkin information and the luggage was delivered to our room.

Absolutely amazing room where the hotel ensures every stay is a truly indulgent experience. Every detail, from the plush bedding and marble bathrooms to the breathtaking city or bay views, reflects the hotel's unwavering commitment to providing guests with unparalleled comfort and relaxation. Top notch room service and Aesop serving their top line as toiletries/shower/bath/soap etc really makes the experience absolutely worthwhile.

The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka goes above and beyond to ensure a truly unforgettable stay. Whether you're looking to stay active in the state-of-the-art fitness center, take a refreshing dip in the indoor swimming pool, or stay connected at the business center, the hotel caters to your every need. And for those seeking to explore the city, the hotel's dedicated team of concierges are happy to assist with recommendations and reservations.

Amazing restaurants serving Italian (breakfast is served here), French , Japanese and Chinese cuisines definitely add gold to glory and they happened to be booked in advance. So if you plan to have dinner/meals over there please do book in advance.

Stunning views, luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, world-class restaurants, and rejuvenating spa. Amazing experience, and a touch of everything extra for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Absolute absolute recommendation and an experience that should be given a try at the least!!

What an incredible hotel, no surprise.

The service, location, and rooms were top tier. The breakfast at the first floor restaurant was delicious and had a mix of Japanese and western options. We were easily able to get a cab at the front drive but we also navigated by foot and the subway was only 5-10 mins walk. Very close the shopping.. lux brands like Tiffany’s, Gucci, and Hermes outside your doorstep and several department stores with food halls as well.

** One thing to note, there are smoking rooms which we were assigned at first. They swiftly brought us back to reception and put us in a wonderful non-smoking room.

Below this additional comment was my original observations however after spending 4 days staying here I’ve learnt a lot about my own values and if you allow time and experiences to help evolve you thinking you will like myself come to realise new experiences staying in unique hotels makes you appreciate all that life has to offer. The amazing assistance of Simon the hotel loyalty manager truly made this hotel one I will never forget in a positive way. His warmth and charm to ensure any assistance I required or question I had was answered with such personal care and attention. This is a prestigious hotel and for some can be overwhelming. But if you want a truly historic and timeless experience. The Ritz Carlton is the hotel to choose. The staff I now realise are a family or all sorts. Each offering their own personality that I now recognise as truly special. The breakfast is average, but everything else I came to realise was above and beyond what I consider normal. Bring your best clothes, and keep your eyes open. The clientele are equally captivating and extraordinary and extravagant. This is one hotel thanks to Simon I will never forget.

I had the opportunity to rest for four days in Osaka Japan after a mountain trek and decided to treat myself by staying at the Ritz Carlton. Sadly, I soon realized that this hotel is used as a training ground for many of its staff internationally. The main challenge I encountered was the lack of English understanding among the staff, so be warned.

Another disappointment was the breakfast selection, which felt more like a three-star hotel experience. The breakfast area was crowded with too many staff, making it difficult for guests to serve themselves. There was no à la carte menu, only a basic buffet breakfast that left much to be desired in terms of quality. It was disheartening to see three chefs standing around doing very little other than observing.

However, I must highly recommend the fitness and swimming pool facilities, as they were exceptional and truly world-class. Since I had work to do, I opted to have my meals in my room. Unfortunately, the room service menu was limited, and it was not possible to make any real alterations to accommodate personal taste preferences. The food itself was average in quality.

Fortunately, there were numerous restaurants located below the hotel, offering a wide variety of options that brought me much enjoyment and satisfaction. If you are planning a trip to Osaka, I would suggest considering a different hotel, unless your goal is to spend the night or multiple nights at the Ritz Carlton simply for the sake of being noticed or wearing the most expensive and glamorous outfits. It seems that the hotel focuses more on these aspects rather than providing the modern amenities that we now expect from luxury five-star hotels internationally.

I must also mention that I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow Australian who worked at the hotel. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed to enhance my stay. They even explained that I could visit the 7-Eleven store downstairs to withdraw cash, which was more commonly used in Japan and proved to be much more convenient than relying solely on credit cards. The staff's etiquette and overall service were truly spectacular. The warm welcomes and heartfelt goodbyes were the most endearing experiences I have ever had in the world.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was truly exceptional - extremely friendly and welcoming . The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.

The attention to detail and kindness of the hotel team was remarkable. They were always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest.

I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service I received during my stay. It truly made my visit memorable, and I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future. Thank you for making my stay so special.

I recently suggested my customers to book at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka for their holiday stay in Osaka and they were amazed by the outstanding welcome they had by the team, especially by Mounir. His service was professional, adapted to the guest (not too stiff/robotic that you can expect in Japanese hotels) and tailored made for them.

As for the bedroom it was clean, nice looking and especially comfortable.

I would recommend this hotel once more as the location make it easy to travel to other cities nearby (easy access to the high-speed train).

We were fortunate to find a room at the Ritz Carlton and we must say it was one of the best stays we ever had at a hotel.

The service was amazing. The ambiance and the attention to detail was second to none.

The concierge helped us find an amazing teppanyaki last minute and the breakfast at the hotel was amazing. I can't say enough about how great our stay was and we wish we could have stayed longer!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Carlton Osaka (Japan) and I was blown away by the exceptional service I received, from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and helpful hands. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. They were always available to answer my questions and provide recommendations, and they did so with a genuine interest in my well-being (and patience with me as I attempted to practice my Japanese with them).

One of the things I appreciated most about the Ritz Carlton Osaka was the staff's attention to detail. They seemed to anticipate my every need, and they always went the extra mile to make my stay feel special. For example, one evening I was looking for an authentic Omakase dining experience, and the concierge worked with me to find the most suitable establishment for my needs - and she even made a reservation for me. It was these small gestures, along with how my room was attended to, that made me feel truly cared for.

The Ritz Carlton Osaka also has an excellent in-house bar, where I enjoyed delicious cocktails before dinner - on several occasions. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he provided polite conversation while I enjoyed my drinks. With warm wood paneling, velvet chairs, and a beautiful flower arrangement to greet you, the atmosphere in the bar is very cozy and inviting.

Speaking of atmosphere… a few days before we left, the hotel staff converted the decorations of the lobby and front desk from a few large floral displays to an enormous Christmas Tree and a separate Christmas Train. The tree was comprised mostly of red roses with gold trimming. And the train set included a moving train that passed by gingerbread houses embellished with macaron and biscuit roofs, and other confections.

Overall, my stay at the Ritz Carlton Osaka was an absolute pleasure (and very memorable) The staff was exceptional, the accommodations were luxurious, and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience.

I am grateful for having had the opportunity to stay and the exceptional service I received. And I hope I have another opportunity to stay again soon!
