駅で待ち合わせしただけだったのですが
駅を正面に見て左側に線路の反対側に渡る橋があります。時間があったので渡ってみたら
池がありカルガモ親子が水草の上でくつろいでました。ちょっと癒されましたー。

乗降客は久留米大学と市立南筑高校などの学生・生徒が目立つ。駅前にはなにもない。でも出入口と反対側崖下に降りると国道沿いで賑やか。不思議な駅です。
味水御井神社と朝妻の清水が傍になければこの駅に来ることは無かったかもしれない。

久留米大学の前にある久留米大学前駅。
また女子柔道で有名な南筑高校も目の前。
正門前には部活で活躍した生徒の名前が誇らしく掲げてありました。
