We were there for a week vocation. Ms. Anna Fujiwara provided us with excellent services. We will return and stay at this fantastic hotel again. Kudos to all the front end staffs at The Westin Osaka.

Great location with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff at the service counter were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The free shuttle to osaka station was convenient for when we had to carry our luggage.

I was very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and it was very close to the train station; about a 5 minute walk. There were not many notable restaurants nearby so you would have a better time choosing from the restaurants at the property or dining closer to the train station. The service from check in to check out was excellent.

Located next to the Umeda Sky Bldg and a short walk to the Osaka JR Train station and mall of restaurants and shops. A quick taxi ride from the ‘local train’ station.
Beautiful lobby with the most courteous and helpful staff. Our room on the 28th floor had an amazing view of the Sky Bldg, rivers and city lights. Everything in the room is controlled via the remote by the bed- room lights, floor lights, window sheers and window curtains. Three different textures and weight of robes in room to choose as well as slippers. Separate shower and super deep tub with big bottles of toiletries. Incredible water pressure and nice hot water.
The Spa has separate men’s and women’s public baths as well as steam rooms to relax in.
Restaurants had fixed meals and reservations were limited due to the New Year. Breakfast Buffet had a large variety of Japanese breakfast foods but I found hard boiled eggs, bagels, and smoked salmon as well as French toast.
Hotel has a shuttle bus service to the JR train station that you can take to get to the food restaurants and produce shops next to the terminal as well as attached mall.

-Stayed for a week
-Staff were attentive and able to communicate in simple English.
-Short 15mins walk to Osaka station or there’s shuttle bus that takes you to the station from the hotel.
-Parking is charged per night so the front desk will hand you a parking ticket after confirming how many nights you’ll be parking, make sure not to lose the ticket!
-Glad that the air conditioning setting is still working as most hotels in Japan only have heater setting when it’s close to winter
-Buffet breakfast was a simple spread.
-The room was clean and quite spacious but furniture was a little dated.
-Convenience store is located round the corner.
-There was one evening where we were too tired after a days out so we wanted to dine in the hotel restaurant but was a little saddened to find out that the restaurants close early. The front desk staff was kind to advise us on nearby eateries that may still be open.

This property certainly knows how to make every guest feel very good and welcome. Truly impressed. We stayed only for two nights due to our travel schedule but would have loved to stay longer.

Even before giikint the hotel reached out to confirm booking details and confirm some relevant details given I was travelling with a child, and inform me of the breakfast and amenities.

The breakfast it's self was great, two chefs prepared the food, and then we're available for customized eggs. The selection was vast, from custom omelette, chocolate dipped fruit, a huge selection of pastries, pickled veggies, dried fruits, sliced meats, cheeses. Really more than I can list here.

The koi pond the breakfast overlooks is also amazing. Very relaxing and such fine detail, I felt as if I was in the middle of the countryside not the city when walking through it.

The view and location also can't be beat. It's a few minutes from the train station, Uneda tower is directly through the small park in the back, as well as a number of great restaurants surrounding the hotel, and a 711 directly across the corner.

The staff are all very attentive. I've stayed at several westins and this one wins hands down.

Truly great service. The pro-active reaching out is appreciated and saves a lot of questions and stress when travelling.

I have to also compliment the concierge, who made some great tour operator suggestions. As a non-local it can be difficult to tell which tour operators are providing great services. They provided me with two options, known to them.

We will definitely stay here again when in Osaka.

Great hotel, big size bedrooms and very close walk to Umeda and Osaka Station. Swimming pool and gymnasium are available for all guests. Breakfast ok but much better places for breakfast around Umeda.

Nice new renovated rooms. Due to construction, there's no Airport Limousine stopping at the hotel. Would recommend getting off at Osaka station and taking the hotel shuttle to the hotel.

Upscale hotel close to Osaka station (walk is 10 min, 15 min with rolling luggage). Reserved a room with points (standard room) and was still upgraded to the club/executive floor/room (the hotel honored my Marriott status which is always nice). Breakfast was wonderful, served in a pleasant area with a nice view. Lots of selection of both Western and Japanese foods. The staff were exceedingly accommodating and a pleasure to speak with in both 日本語 and English. Please make reservations if you want to enjoy the afternoon tea.

Hotel rooms need updating badly. And the bar needs to be updated. It should be preparing for the Expo. Everything is old and tired.

Great Hotel, great rooms and facilities but location is a bit far from Umeda station. Shuttle bus also not that frequent.

Rooms are decently sized and well maintained. Rooms also have a stunning view of the Osaka City. Staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the Osaka station throughout the day, and taxis are available if needed.
There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby which is very convenient.

This is a lovely and convenient hotel operated by caring,
professional, and dedicated staff. The hotel building itself, which includes an adjoining convention hall used for conferences and weddings, was constructed in the early 1990s. Overall, the property has been well maintained through the years and the rooms are clean and the bed mattresses plush and comfortable for a good night's rest. There is a nice restaurant (Amadeus) on the first floor providing a hearty and delicious buffet breakfast including Western and Japanese dishes for approximately USD 30 per person (children under three are free). Newspapers (Japan Times, New York Times, Yomiuri Shimbun) are delivered to each room in the morning.

The hotel is located in the Shin Umeda City directly adjacent to the well known Umeda Sky Building which offers spectacular views of Osaka at night. A major feature of the hotel is its proximity to one of the best shopping areas in all of Kansai: the Umeda district of Osaka which includes Grand Front Osaka, the Hankyu and Hanshin department stores, JR Osaka Station City, and Chayamachi. This is a bustling and densely populated area full of terrific shops and restaurants. The area is clean, safe, and crowded during all times of the day especially at night. Also, Umeda is a major transportation hub with subway trains as well as metro and tour buses providing connections to the entire Kansai region and beyond. The hotel runs a free shuttle (which takes about 10 minutes) for guests to and from JR Osaka Station every 30 minutes from 8:00 until 19:00.

The best feature of the hotel though are the Japanese staff who provide an exceptional level of hospitality. From the moment you arrive through the front entrance, embark or disembark from the elevators on the ground floor to get to and from your room, and depart after checking out, you are made to feel truly honored as their guest. This "omotenashi" is a uniquely Japanese custom. The Westin Hotel provides a modern and enjoyable setting for experiencing traditional Japanese hospitality and warmth.

Fantastic customer service. Absolute attentive to needs of guests. Staffs took care of our luggages very well with hearts and patience. They made arrangements for a box taxi big enough for our big luggages.

Even though the location of the hotel was a 10-15mins walk from Osaka Station, their level of service made it worthwhile.

My suggestion to tourists with luggages would be to use taxi to and from the train station. It is ok to walk in any other times to move around without luggages.

Highly recommended.

Great Hotel. Extremely nice and helpful staff. One of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had and a superb location as it’s right in the heart of Osaka.

Good location, friendly staff, speak and understand English well! Located right beside the Umeda Sky building and approximately 10 minute walk to Osaka Station. Beautiful garden and koi pond located outside the hotel. Plenty of taxis outside at any time of day! Great hotel!
