Onitsuka Tiger Osaka Shinsaibashi

Got my first pair in this branch last month, they had fast restocking. We initially checked on a Wednesday and the pair that I want was out of stock for my size, we went back again Friday and they have it in my size 🫶

Staff were also nice ✨

Very busy Onitsuka branch. If you want peace while shopping for these shoes, go to Nagoya. Haha.

very happy with my purchase. busy store in a famous shopping street, lots of traffic. the staff is very attractive and polite. wasn't sure about my size for different styles, Mr. Yoshida was being super patient bringing me several pairs. Great service! Not a cheap brand but top quality, don't forget to bring your passport for the duty free price.

Good selection of shoes with English-speaking staff, albeit a small and crowded store.

My fiancée and i got our “couple shoes” here and we got the Mexico 66 in green. Good thing that they still had our sizes! I actually was lucky as my size only had 1 last stock left, so we immediately got us a pair. The staff who assisted us was really nice, although i think that japanese salespersons are nice in general, that’s why i prefer shopping there :)

One if the best Tiger stores we came across in Japan. Had a good variety. But very crowded

One of the most recommended shops if you’re looking for sneakers, especially onizuka ones. First floor is for the non-japan made (Indonesia & Vietnam) and the second floor is for the japan-made shoes (much more expensive). Some of the staffs can speak english and help you choose your shoe fit. They even tie up your shoes!

Wide selection of designs compared to the Outlet store in Rinku town.

Would like to call out Natasha and the Store Manager - a pleasant Japanese lady (I’m so sorry I couldn’t recall her name) for outstanding service beyond their scope of duty. Natasha, a part time assistant and an undergrad of the local university was the translator who together with the Store Manager helped solved my conundrum.
You see I bought a pair of shoes for my niece in Tokyo but unfortunately I’ve learned only later that it was an incorrect size. By then I’ve left Tokyo for Osaka and there’s no way for me to do an exchange from the same store.
These 2 ladies however, went beyond the brand policy allowing me to do an exchange to the right size (I’ve learned that Japan is the only 1st world country that does not allow an exchange or return between cities! Something I feel the Mgmt should address as it’s totally non-customer centric! Bearing in mind these are owned stores and not run by a distributor)
As they didn’t have the size in the same model, the Store Manager even offered to collect from the nearby Namba store. I however declined the offer and chose an in-stock model. I’ve troubled them enough. I hope there’s a more formal feedback channel for me to write in ….. just to say thank you again, this time letting a wider audience know what professionalism and dedication to service really mean.

The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful and even speak perfect English , so definitely gaijin friendly ^_^

The nippon made shoes are sure to stand out as they look pretty unique. They are pricey (250$ us+) but if you like shoes that no one's will have but you, it's a pretty sure thing.

Nice selection of Asics sneakers. Not dress shoes store.

This shop staff very nice. Speck English very well.

This shoe store was unique, the service good and the collection is amazing. The price itself was also affordable. This is one of the most famous store at shinsaibashi who become a favourite tourist place to shop.
