奥日光湯元温泉源泉

An interesting place, source of onsen. Spend about 15 to 20 minutes to explore the different sources of onsen water gushing out from the ground. Walk to nearby food bath for a relaxing deep for tired feet

A very interesting place where you can see onsen in the nature for free with some wooden structures. It’s marginal and smalls like eggs 🙈🙉🙊
We even saw a deer in the bushes. They said sometimes you even can see monkeys but we only saw them from the bus while driving here.

A recommendation from me, but they is almost nothing here. So be prepared.

Happened to visit when I went hot spring hopping! This is where the source of the regions hot spring water come from. Smell of sulphur is strong. You could look into the little huts and see the bubbling water and yellow gases emerging from it. I visited on a snowy day. It was perfect. It is said that even during winter this part does not freeze over due to the hot water.

I visited the nearby onsen just at the entrance of this attraction before I visited this place. You do not need to purposely come to this place, but this is very interesting. Pop by if you’re around the area. It’s free!

Nice little spot! There were children there out on a trip, all eager to dip their ten yen coins in the sulfurous water and clean them. There were also ducks. Nice!

Beautiful history and it was very interesting seeing the history behind onsens

The start to our snowshoeing trek. It’s incredible to see a source of the amazing onsens we love so much in Japan.

If you visit here, it is just wonderful. The marsh around it is all covered with white snow, and you see steams coming out from the ground, bubles bubling out in the water on the groumd. The air is fill ed the smell of sulphur, but not at the degerous level of course. Hope you can feel even a small bit of Japanese culture here.

Surreal and fascianting - the landscape is something out of a movie, a marsh of rising steam and bubbling colorful waters. Worth the visit!

Worth to go.

Nice experience to see the source of the hot spring. Be ready for the sulfur smell.

-9 วันนั้นหิมะตกหนักดั่งพายุเข้า ไม่มีสักคนที่นั่น มีฉันคนเดียว haha แม้จะหนาวเกินไป แต่ฉันสนุกมาก ฉันนั่งรถบัสมาที่นี่ ใกลจากตัวเมือง และโซนอื่น คิดว่าความไกลและหนาว หิมะตดหนักเลยไม่มีใครอยากมาก 2,000 เยน ไป-กลับ จากสถานีอะไรนะ ลืม😅 love here!!

2022/5に来訪。
白根山方面は前日寒くて雪が降ったのか、白くなっていた。
硫黄の匂いが好きな人には最高の場所。
普通の道にも沸々と温泉が沸いている。
カモがそこそこおり、土のなかを掘り出してエサを食べてました。
温泉の中にいる、謎の生物は写真に載っけていますが、虫が嫌いな人は閲覧注意。
地面からボコボコ沸いてる所もあるので、火傷に注意。
場合によっては、鹿、猿、カモがいます。

2024/5には白根山の冠雪と桜と源泉が撮れました。

湯元温泉街の北、奥の方に有ります､湿原になっていて木道が整備されています､温泉神社に出られますよ、すぐ近くには、足湯あんよの湯が有ります無料です、寄付金箱が有りますが…１００円入れときました、源泉地は、硫黄の臭いと水蒸気が立ち込めています、源泉の温度は４５から４６℃くらいですかね、触ってみましたが熱いですね､お風呂にためて４３℃ぐらいなのではないかと思います､何回か宿泊しましたがいいお湯ですよ、
この場所は、早朝鹿の群れが見ることが出来ます､６時頃ですかね、近くにいても゙、慣れてる見たいで逃げないです、紅葉🍁も゙良いです、お風呂も゙どうぞ～ごはんも゙旨いバイバーイ😺

野鳥やサル、シカ等がエサと水を求めて集まってくる様です。
至る所に原泉があり、見ていて飽きない場所です。

早朝に散歩しましたが誰もいなく、異界秘境のような幻想的な雰囲気でした。

奥日光に宿泊で、早く着いたので周辺を散策。
温泉の源泉が間近に見られて感動です。
そこらじゅうで涌き出ており、上流の方では熱も感じられました。
